From what I have learned from my Friend, Hank, (Rip hank! Who was a retired station chief from Kan. City MO. FD), The coffee machine and the plug in air fresheners are the two most dangerous things in a modern home). go figure!

Knife

Can confirm multiple plug in air freshener related fatalities in my not so humble County; however, Mr Coffee has not done anyone in recently. But ya never know, them coffee maker types, they tricksie precious!

My (our) coffee maker is MADE IN U.S.A. We keep it plugged in. It is made to be and the instructions say so, to be kept plugged in so the water is constantly hot. Still, when we go on a trip, we unplug it even though it has a, "vacation switch." I should add it is plugged into a GFI.

that would be anything with a heating element (those two items both have heating elements inside) are fire hazards.

Hehe. The only heating elements that regularly kill in my neck of the woods by way of "fire hazard" are small, often made of mercury, and usually enclosed inside a thin lining of brass.

Some even say "Welcome to Los Angeles!"

That sounds like a Bunn. Mine consistently makes the best coffee I've ever made and does it with no muss or fuss. Due to extremely hard water here, and the resulting lime build up, I'm on my third one in fifteen years. That's after monthly de-limings.

If they could break the laws of chemistry and get one to last a long time in my environment, I'd say they are the Provari of home coffee makers.

And that's probably my absolute worst contribution to posting off topic. My apologies to all.

DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! You win the prize! It is a Bunn! When Jackie first started coming around, she was just amazed at how fast it made coffee! ;)

One has to be careful, when picking it out, I could have bought a Chinese Bunn and paid $10 more. You don't have to hit me in the head with a brick!

I think it has (had) a 4 year warranty. Back when it was a month past that, I called (yes, CALLED) them and told them it was leaking out the back when I filled it. The lady on the phone (yes, PHONE) said, "Well, it's a month past the warranty but as a courtesy we will send you a new one, please send yours back when you get it." Well, there was nothing making me send it back (I had to pay shipping) but since they were so cool, I did.

When you buy quality you should expect quality service and so it seems Bunn delivered. We use Nespresso Virtuoline, which came bundled with the Aerocino machine to froth milk. Just about a month ago, when ours became a month out of warranty, it stopped Aerocino'ing. I called Nespresso and told them what happened and even out of warranty they expressed a replacement to me free of charge next day. I buy quality things like Provari's for just this reason. The company stands behind their products. And that's VERY important to me. Yes it is!

Same here.

I have had lots of problems with ProVape products I bought new and have only been using them for a couple of months. I have bought an additional 5 ProVape products since the problems with my Radius and Classic started due to Provape's amazing customer service. I am not happy at all that my Radius has been on a FedEx truck and at ProVape for almost the entire time I have owned it, but I have full confidence that they will resolve my problem.

Buying what is percieved as "the best" is a complete waste of time IME unless the company bends over backwards when crap hits the fan. Only a few companies I have dealt with have been as good as ProVape.... The Omega watch company comes to mind as they make Rolex's customer service look like idiots and the company that makes my bass guitars is unparalleled but should be as their products cost more than my car.

Paying so much $$$ for a mod doesn't seem so stupid when Something goes wrong. I can only imagine what a similar conversation with Kanger or eLeaf would be like. ;)

Called? No way!

You know, I was just wondering, how would someone without a computer get a hold of ProVape? I guess go to the vendor from which they bought because they probably didn't purchase using a computer in the first place.

Every time I write ProVape CS and there's a miscommunication, I gripe about lack of phone support because said miscommunication, or misunderstanding could be immediately cleared up or never would have happened in the first place over the phone. Instead, when there is a misunderstanding via email, we have to spend another day or two clearing it up. SUCKS! Poor people on the other end, it's not their fault.
