Unfortunately, image is everything. Kind of the point of my original post. The pr at a vape convention, is directed toward vapers, not the general public. Not everyone is politically conscious, a good reason not to attend the political aspect of the event. Those folks don't intentionally represent us, because they don't care enough.If they can't be bothered to take 5 minutes to listen to a CASAA presentation, then perhaps they shouldn't represent us; in any event, have you ever noticed that the photo used to accompany a headline screaming about formaldehyde or anti-freeze or exploding batteries is never, never this:

I don't mind how anyone looks, I have a good number of tattoos myself. I just wish there were more mainstream people at a vape convention to balance it out.

If it were perfectly balanced, some would still come away remembering the tattoed& pierced. I have neither, but know a lot of good folks who do. Some can't see past the cover. If neck beard, tattoed, and pierced had a provari, some would assume he was vaporizing illegal substances.

But this is the public opinion of "vapers"... Like comparable to the "hookah" crowd maybe?
It's partially this outlook and opinion that keeps the mainstream away from getting too into it all...
It started out "wow that's cool - tell me more!" Where now I get "oh...... You're one of those.....? And you know those are worse for you than regular cigs?"
And giant plumbing clouds ejected in restaurants and bars didn't help the indoor concept either....

Ahh...cool. It has sort of an Aztec feel to me. I have a griffin on my shoulder. It's my own drawing, but by the time scanning was common place I had filed the image where I can't find it. A picture of it now would be kinda of sad. It's 26 years old and the colors have faded and the lines blurred. I'm thinking of having it touched up for my 60th birthday.
Like wise, I am thinking of finding a shop to touch this one up, especially since seeing the rendition on screen of the quick pic... time... ... ...
