Three Week Radius Update:

About 3 weeks ago I bought the black Radius and a few days later I bought the ghost white Radius. Initially the first week I was running a CoV Vengeance tank with the 0.8 ohm coil and it was performing..ok. It wasn't anything stellar. I then switched to a Silo Beast and that was working really well. But I saw the Kabuki on Provape's site and researching the Kabuki let me to this forum and decided I needed one. (Well I ended up with 2 stainless Kabuki's and a Ti Kabuki)

I have a bunch of other variable wattage mods (even a DNA 40), mech mods, etc. I already have several 40 watt devices. I still wanted the Radius because my first mod ever, a P3, is still one of my favorites and probably the best made mod I have. Ok enough of the backstory.

The Radius has been great. With the Kabuki tank its just amazing. I added an AW 3000mah battery and this thing last for DAYS vaping at 1.8omhs at 9 watts. My ghost white one pretty much goes everywhere I do. I started off on a P3 and moved to other more high wattage devices and tanks blowing massive clouds but had no problem coming back to running a device at lower watts. I am really surprised how great the vaping experience is at only 9 watts. I get good vapor and flavor and I know a lot of that is attributed to the Kabuki tank as well.

I think the Radius is extremely underrated. The online reviews I have read and watched on YouTube have slammed it for being only 40 watts and unremarkable in design. It has caught flack for having one battery and changing the battery is tedious. I guess the majority of those that slammed the Radius didnt really get who this device was targeted for or really take time to understand the design. Like the battery cover. Yeah its not made to swap batteries daily. I can go days before I need to charge it.

As for the looks and function I love it. I think it has a modern sleekness to it while giving off an elegant vibe. And paired with the Kabuki its just a different device. Heck I think Provape should offer packages for the Radius, P3, Procyon, etc with a Kabuki tank. It just works.

So after three weeks I am still loving the Radius. Every single other mod I have owned lost its luster after a week. Not to say I dont have other quality mods I liek and enjoy but the Radius is just in a different class of enjoyment for me.

I am really thankful to everyone who has taken the time to answer all my questions and given me advice when I have asked for it. Its been extremely helpful!

I think I might need help again...

In the past, I've only used carto tanks. This past weekend I got the Radius with Kabuki and I bought some White Russian Vapor Liquid from Johnson's Creek to try. Tasted delicious and vaped smooth all weekend (best experience I've ever had really) so I went back online today to buy a bigger bottle and saw this line in their description:

"Recommended for the Canteen™ Elite, RDAs, RBAs, and other SubTank class tanks."

Will I be ok if I continue vaping this or should I expect problems in the Kabuki?

I really do appreciate the help this forum has shown. you guys are awesome.

If it was enjoyable to you the way you vaped it then I don't see how their description could cause any issues. Recommendations are not absolutes.

Fair enough, thank you :). I guess I was worried I might have to buy atomizers more frequently or something if I did...

If it is Max VG, you will likely go thru coils quicker, but I can't see any other real reason that a juice is specifically designed for subohm tanks or drippers.

I personally use the same juices in drippers, RDA and RTA's, Subtanks, Crowns, Nautilus, Kabukis, etc.

It is max VG which I originally thought was NP because I've used their Red Oak line in the past which is PG free. but Red Oak line cuts with water and this White Russian I tried wasn't. It's definitely thicker. I loved it so I guess I'll see just how fast it burns a coil and then decide if it's worth the extra trouble or just something I keep on the side.

I really love that the Radius/Kabuki combo renewed my vaping enthusiasm again because I'm gonna be honest, on hot days, when I knew my carto tanks would likely leak out into my car or something, I was buying analogs and they make me feel like I'm already dead walking around on borrowed time.

Add a couple of DROPS of distilled water to a tankful. Works wonders....

My provaro Radius w/Kabuki came yesterday....wow! Pictures don't do it justice and that tank really is something special :)

I'm left handed and while I think 'left handed mode' is thoughtful of them, as a lefty, I don't find it very useful because the tank is in the way. A left handed model would probably work better but probably not practical for the company I'm sure.

That all said, I guess I need to buy one of their protective cases now because this thing needs to be used like everywhere and not just at home like I thought I might want to do.

Leave it in right mode.

Then all you have to do is .... your arm back to read the screen without having to shift the mod around.

Righties have to flip the mod over and hold it horizontally anyway, because the display is facing the palm when the mod is held in forefinger-fire position.

The Radius works better for lefties, than righties, as is.

Check it out.
