Anyway, true story...
I was at a stoplight in Burbank, CA. Just a block or two away from some of the largest movie studios in the world - places filled with attractive, trend-setting people. I looked over and there was a man waiting at the corner for the crosslight. Dark hair, porno mustache, wife-beater tee shirt, dark shorts, dark socks and sandals. I'm serious. The lights are long in that part of town, so I had a bit of time to contemplate his presentation. Obviously there was no woman in his life, or not one who cared enough or was bold enough to honestly tell him what he looked like...
As my eyes zoomed out, I realized he was staring right at me. Our eyes met. He stretched, flexed and looked me straight in the eyes. You want some of this don't you?

Purple has been in the works for a while. They tried with the 2.5 and it wasn't that good of a purple IMO. Did a test of a purple zen coat and didn't like it. This time it looks like they took the color Ocy posted in her pic with our hue suggestions and made it work. So if anything, it is that pushed them to it and the release is just coincidence.Not the same at all.
I am talking about a company releasing a brand new purple version of a product that hasn't had a new color release for months the day after Prince dies.... "Levi's releases brand new purple jeans!!!".... the day after Prince dies... but no correlation... Okie dokie.
Not cool and I'm never buying one, but whatever.

Frankly I am sick to death of this over memorializing people just because they are famous. The OMG my life must stop because so and so who I never knew died and if you don't honor him by doing whatever I think is appropriate your an "&&)

Actually, they liked Zen's purple. I was told they decided not to go with it, since it looked pretty close to Gun Metal, that they already carry. I don't think they look that similar, but...shrug. All I know is i haz a Zen/ProVari purrpurr.

The body is supposed to be a Classic, but I don't know. They just said purple and my mind ceased to function.
It might be an extension cap, but I can't check since it's too late at night for me to go through the purification ritual to open her sleeping chamber to check.

The Radius purple is different. While it looks almost as dark, due to the material the light will reflect differently. Zenkote™ of any color is very freaking shiny, something not possible with polycarbonate. I have a feeling the purple Radius will look a bit darker than in the pictures unless the room is well lit or you're outside. For me, that's a plus. In any case, I'm jealous! My purple Radius will have to wait.
Man oh man, I would have to go for my first pedi and wear socks under those kinda socks before even thinking about putting them on my feet. Also, I would need to find a good and trustworthy sock dry cleaner.
Nope, too much stress. I mean, imagine losing one of them socks in the dryer?
P.s. Rod is partially right. I would only wear the socks, BUT... If you are rich enough to wear socks like that, they absolutely SCREAM out for sandals. The Teva type ones..... and maybe a Speedo.... But that's it.
You are aware that Tevas are the official shoe of the ProVarinati aren't you?

In some light, the gunmetal has a purplish tint to it, but it's not nearly as purple as my custom one. or yours. Either way, I like all 3 of them, and given the choice of only one, that would be difficult.
Although I have never seen a Gun Metal in person, I have seen its purplish reflection in some if the pictures. It's not truly purple, but purple enough in pictures to perhaps cause confusion for some people.
