TRIPLE POST: Am I correct in assuming the spring in the Radius is a P3 Spring? Any wisdom on if/when to change it (Radius spring)? Maybe once a year when changing battery, if at all?

Thank you.
since the spring doesn't carry the current...I don't imagine it will need to be changed out much, if ever...as long as it will hold the negative contact plate to the battery, all is good :D

That really is a beautiful looking setup!

The more I research Provari the more I'm leaning towards coughing up the $$$ ($299 for the Radius down here in Australia) and buying a top quality mod.

I've only been vaping since April 27 and have been 100% successful in kicking the stinkies.

My current mod is a Kanger topbox mini and I've loved it so far, but it has suffered from a handful of minor glitches already.
But I'm 100% convinced I'll continue to Vape into the future so $299 for a top quality mod will be an investment in the long run, especially considering I was spending around $70 week on stinkies.

I'm following this thread with great interest. Cheers all

It's worth every penny for any of the provape mods. They are tough and reliable. I've had my p3 run over, fall off a roof onto concrete, get soaked while out in the rain and it still hasn't failed. My radius has taken a 4 story drop onto gravel and not even a scratch.

If I get a 2nd Radius it shall be white. I have a black one. Still not super pleased with the battery life I get but then again I do vape it like I stole it so all good. I find no better vape than a Kayfun sitting a top of a Radius...boost set to 2. Sublime.

Ive got great news for you. The Batts that come with the Radius seem to have a slightly new ugrade, so I ordered a backup from my Fav supplier. Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor
Looks almost identical, new label. I added an LG 18650HG2 3000mAh 20a and having used it in place of the
greenie Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh Cant tell you how happy I am with the LG in the Radius.
Im just a tootle puffer, not trying to max out Radius' capabilities at all, which might shorten the batt. life.
When I drive, its plugged in at least recharging if not serving as a pass-thru. Dont know If you're like me and vape more in a car, or hardly at all. SO take a few min. to skim through or read Rechargeable Batteries The Batt blog...pick one with a high CDR and see if it makes you smile.
btw...My mini USB chord rewind "popped apart" within the first week I owned it, no matter how gently I handled it. Im kinda OK without the springy thingy.
Thanks for your plug on the Kayfun- Im about to pick up another topper.
Cheers

Does anyone have the stealth Radius? I have seen one and the black coating didn't seem to be holding up very well. I have been wondering if anyone has any issues with theirs.
OK, so I dont own a "stealth" anything from Provape product line, keep that in mind.
It appears to me, its an easy DIY. Get the Radius, turn off or adjust the LED to your level of "stealth contentment", grab a black ostrich Jwrap...and Voila.
I do however empathize. Taste in ones PV is as individual as the taste's in Cig Brands, Fav Foods, et al.
Cheers.

I think either my battery meter is wonky or the battery itself is. Charged the Radius up last night...blue light went out. Have vapes it just a small amount this morning and the meter shows 2/3 down. I am using an AW 3000 mah 18650. Just hit it again and it shows 1/2 full. Any idea how many cycles these batteries are good for? I may remove it to put in the Nitecore charger and see what it says. I really love this mod, it's my favorite but I just don't seem to get great battery life. 1.5 ohms at 15w with the boost set to 2nd level is how I roll.

Could be the battery but I returned 2 very early Radius with wonky battery gauges so it can happen. My 3rd works great.

I bought my first ProVari (P-Series) a few years ago, and my other vaporizers have gone unused ever since. I just received my Radius a few days ago, and have not been disappointed. I don't know if it's the Radius itself, the Aspire Nautilus (which was included for free), or a combination of both, but I've never had stronger throat-hit or denser vapor. I like this. A lot.
