ProVape have advised those with battery meter issues to remove the battery and put it back in, which effectively resets the device. During beta testing, this happened to me as well - it showed full to near full all the time, then suddenly wouldn't fire and had no battery left in the meter. I believe I caused the issue in this case however, from beta testing, and VERY frequently charging. It was fine after flashing v19, so I didn't have to reset it.

Is that what caused my battery to go from half a tank to empty so fast?

Now you're just getting fancy and technical. All you need to do is look at your charger to know what it's capable of. Computers will only send 500mA, phone chargers are mixed anywhere from 500mA to 1A, tablet chargers are at least 1A so more doesn't matter, and my USB power strip is capable of 7A total shared by 6 ports.
What power strip do you use? Link please!!!! I said please. [emoji851]

But to my knowledge I have not angered the Gods...Lol
I don't think you're capable of that! ;) You just hit the place order button a day or two early for the new release.
Hmmmm..... Ion know about this. That Norma's a sly one. [emoji848] [emoji23]

So it took me all day to update our 3 Radii. Our son dropped off his laptop (we only have Mac's) and our grandkid to babysit today on his way to work.

He didn't tell me his laptop needs a password to sign in. Yikes! Had to wait all day 'till he came back again, to use the laptop. Actual time to update the 3 R's less than 15 minutes. But geez it was a long day waiting ... worse then vapemail waiting.

An yepper I like the 2 new features. But boy is that blue light bright when it's steady on. It's gonna be a heck of a night light next the to bed for overnight charging. I'll be too lazy to turn the feature on/off.

I got an Sx mini ml class yesterday, and i have to say I'm very impressed, battery life is epic, build quality is top notch and feels so comfy to use. The Radius has a lot to live up to, if it does ill be a very happy vaper on Christmas day

I have the SXmini M class, and had an S class before that. I wanted basically the same mod, only with temperature limiting ability. It's a fine mod - really well built (but has a "handmade" list of imperfections), great display (nothing beats it IMHO, not even the Radius), very accurate, very comfortable, and very heavy (a negative for some people). I really, really don't like the look of the newly designed ML class, and would wrap that thing in a silicone sleeve right away - just my personal opinion. I might look into getting the SX350Jv2 modders board and upgrade my M class (voiding the warranty, of course, but not something that concerns me much). Being a Chinese company however, I dread if I ever needed to send it in for service.

The Radius is a different beast. You'll find you hold it differently than the SX. Not better, not worse, just different. It's much lighter, charges faster, is better built, about 1/4" shorter, has better support, and will likely outlast the SX 3:1. It's like comparing mechanicals - they're all metal tubes that hold batteries, but the designs are so different from one to another (just talking about the good ones that you have no complaints about).

Battery life really depends on the battery you're using. You can work out the math, based on the efficiency of the mod, but in reality you won't notice any difference. Everyone here who is impressed with the battery life on the Radius says that because they were using an 18350 or 18500 with their P2/P3, and really never tried an 18650. The logic is simple - at the same wattage, two mods will use the same amount of battery power, give or take a few %, which is really impossible to notice without tracking puff counts and draw times.

I really have to give the Radius and SX mods the top two places in the regulated mod world, and that's above other mods using the SX chipsets, because they get different firmware than the SXmini mod. It's like owning both a Porsche and a Mercedes - they're both good, but very different from each other. I've been using the Radius exclusively since I got it - likely because of "shinyitis". I wouldn't want to give up either one, but again, expect the Radius to be working long after the SX dies.

From my short experience, frequent charging with 80%-90% full battery can cause the issue. That's just a theory from experience - I'd have to repeat it multiple times to say "yes", so "maybe".

Wow seems like a lifetime ago the Radius was first announced, now it's just 2 sleeps and ill have my hands on my ghost white Radius.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS FOLKS!

Just my humble and perhaps biased opinion, but Sx Mini is not even in the same class as the Radius. Hell, not even in the same school FAIC. :) I did mention biased right? :D

"PROnouncements" of any type are historically followed by the flash of Damascus steel, creak of saddle leather, and or the whispering chimes of chain mail. Thought mine was pretty mild as those things go..taa!

Oh, did I mention the charity part listed above?:thumb::D

I just received, as you all probably did too, an email from ProVape announcing a 25% off sale on juices. I was wondering if anyone of you use their liquids, what you think and which ones?
I use their liquids and love them! In fact, I only buy juice from two vendors, Johnson Creek and ProVape! Their (ProVape) nicotine is extracted from American grown tobacco! I love their Snicker Doodle, White Grape, Caramel and Whitehorse Tobacco. When vaping Caramel in public, I always get tons of compliments on the odor from complete strangers. Everyone says it smell like maple syrup.

Thanks. I was wondering. Love the hardware, but hadn't seen any talk anywhere about the juices. Guess I'll give the sale a try.
