Knowing them (not personally) they probably thought of this...
But who knows? It's possible I just solved a problem none of them had thought about!
I think the one's saying this is normal think it is normal but it is not normal. My first Radius was doing this and when I explained to Provape exactly what you are describing they told me to send it back for a replacement. My new one doesn't do this any longer and shows consistent battery life all the way down.
Idk what to think.. The meter does not jump around that much.. The meter slowly drains, but at times it might raise one bar, of
its resting. I definitely changes if I switch the atty.

I have no doubt they would fix it if aomething happened, i just want to be in a position where everything is in great condition come april/may. For as fantastic as provape are given the fdas history of denying applications, the high cost for every sku, i just have doubts they will be able to survive. Maybe they would be purchased i don't know.
Considering the fda themselves say 99.9% of whats available will be gone... Does not inspire a lot of confidence.
The meter is supposedly like the "mileage remaining" gauge in some cars.
If you're driving fast, the miles you'll get from the tank will be lower...slow down, and the miles will go back up...
So, when you've let your battery rest, the gauge goes up. Believe it or not, the battery will recover SOME while it's resting.
What HBManOfTheCorpseDude said. What you described is not unusual behavior for the Radius Battery meter. If however, when you vape it goes down significantly, then up and all over the place, that's another story. But what you described is indeed normal behavior as the Radius battery meter does fluctuate up and down depending on use. And as HB describes, definitely goes up after resting.
Ok, I use a Kayfun V4 so the ohms jump from 1.3 to 1.4 as I vape, then back to 1.3, so I'm sure this explains it also.
It's normal for the coil resistance to change as you vape it. Gunk begins to build up on the coil, which will effect the ohm reading.
This is why I fell in love with VW over VV. Not having to go through all the hullabaloo of "blugh, what's wrong with this vape?" *check resistance* *adjust voltage* *repeat 2 hours later* was a revelation. Of course, I also have a couple of liquids in my rotation that are notoriously bad for gunking up coils ridiculously fast, but having the device take care of the dirty work? Genius.
Exactly! I was afraid of moving to VW, UNTIL I moved to VW. Set it and forget it can't be much better or simpler, IMHO!
I had to send my Radius in for repair. I noticed it was charging really slowly when I first got it, acting differently than the first one I had, that one suffered the output fault[7] and had to be replaced. Also, it would not vape when on the charger, and the battery meter would go up and down during the charge. Outside of charging, it was performing beautifully. I'd been switching out the battery until I had time to test a few things recommended by the help desk.
After charging with different plugs and cords I discovered that the Radius did not like some of my wall adapters and was not charging even though the blue light was on. I use those to charge various other devices, so I know they work. It's not the battery, it charges normally in my VP4. The cord that came with it seems to be fine, I updated with it and was able to charge other things using it. Anyway, the engineers want to see what's going on.

Mine seems to be oddly different. I am deff. a chain vapor'r. Yet the meter when using a higher ohm atty such as the Kabuki on the Radius @ 1.8 ohm, it takes the meter literally hours to move. Seems the bat. last for hours, A LOT of hours.
On the other hand, when I switch to something like the Aromamizer, at .45, It moves in no time at all. I can make it last all day on the high ohm, and use at least three bat's when on the low ohm.
But----My meter hardly moves unless sub-ohming. So when out and about town, I use the high ohm Kabuki, and when home, I often switch to the .45-.49 Aromamizer. And often, I have the charge cord attached when at the comp. or watching TV. Works out just fine for me!

Nothing odd about what you've described. In fact, quite normal. It takes more power to heat a .45 ohm coil. It takes less power to heat a 1.8 ohm coil. It makes perfect sense that vaping at 1.8 ohm your battery will last longer than when you vape at .45 ohm.
Or like in my case, the battery meter shows a full charge until the battery is just about dead, the meter suddenly shows empty, the low battery warning lights flash and the mod shut off. I told Provape about the problem late last week and they immediately asked me to return it. It is in a FedEx truck right now heading back to the mothership.
I am not worried about "deeming" or being unable to buy vape gear in the near future at all right now as I don't live in the U.S. and I HAVE bought 5 ProVape mods in the last 3 weeks that I expect to last a long long time.
Provape has been outstanding to deal with though and I'm sure my repaired/replaced unit will be perfect as my other Provaris have been.

That would be a slow 3 weeks for you, eh??!! LOL
I think you missed my point. the poster said that theirs was dropping from the get go. Even with a K4. Most of ours do not do that! K4's are not normally run at sub-ohm. (they have a bad habit of burning wicks when run at sub-ohm and high wats.

I do tend to be compulsive like that but 2 Goldmember edition 2.5's were a no brainer and my Signature, P3 and Radius were just stupid cheap over the holidays.
I can't see myself owning 10 or more Provaris (don't write down that I said that), but a second P3 for a good price would be of interest.
