I don't think it's wise to put lube on the threads that the atty goes into. Though not 100% sure, it seems to me it's not great for a proper connection and could affect battery life, due to this. I've never seen it promoted to lube the connection.

Putting lube on the P3 type beauty ring sounds OK to me, but I do recall 360 saying No No-ox needed with the Radii.

Just to clarify, is it the Lemo stuck to the Radius or is it actually the ring stuck to the Lemo?

My Radius came today. I have used my Classic ProVari for now what is going on 2 years. I never really saw a need for a new mod, but I did a bit of reading and decided to get this damn Radius. Holy cow, this thing is a god send. Quick hits, little to no battery usage, now all I have to do is find a dripper to use on this thing for .3 ohm mega clouds!

Thanks ProVape! I referred my brother to get a ProVari 2.5 as his first battery mod - he was hesitant until I told him how long my prior model had lasted (and is still kicking as well as day 1)

Now, onto my only problem; My Lemo 2 is stuck on the rings (I'm currently at work without my tools) - is it okay to use Vaseline on the threads for the Radius?

I wouldn't use vaseline on your Radius threads. In all actuality there isn't a need to lube the threads of a Radius at all. The threads of P2.5 - 3, yes, but Radius, not really. I second putting it in a freezer for a bit. On the best way to lube P3 or 2.5 threads, click on my blog below about lube.

I think the stuff for the threads is Noalox.

The Provape recommended lube is No-Ox. It is rumored, though I don't think anyone has really experienced any issues that Noalox can pit the threads of Stainless Steel, thus not recommended.

you can try putting them in the freezer for awhile....that will sometimes do the trick

Good Suggestion

My repaired Radius is out for delivery!

Why am I posting this? Because I am completely amazed that I will apparently have it today as it didn't leave WA until Wed night. Less than 48 hours from coast to coast and thru customs. That's crazy!

I don't get this Stealth Radius thing. It has a radar-wave absorbing finish, and the 510 connector is baffled to minimize heat emissions—so to foil heat-seeking missiles?
You can't mount smart bombs on it too.

Well, I got it off with a pair of pliers. Went looking for a new tank and found the VCMT 25mm. One of the things I was looking for was the ability to control juice flow, and I found it. This thing is absolutely amazing. Not only can I control the air flow, but I can control the juice flow. Wanted to start out by wrapping a single coil to get used to it, ended up with twisted 26g 8/9 wraps at .72 ohms, plugged two of the juice flow entries with cotton and this thing hits like a beast. The atomizer is *mostly* flush with the Radius, hangs off, but just BARELY.

I love the Radius, <3 ProVape
