Anyone here running a KayfunV4 with the P3 connector on their Radius? I received mine from Provape yesterday and can't seem to get it working right. It all goes together just fine but the 510 insulator doesn't stay in on its own like it does on the 510 connector and is only held in when I fully tighten the pin. I also can't get any reading when the pin is fully tightened. I have to back it out to where it's literally just hanging by a thread to get it to read which results in the pin/insulator falling out when I remove the tank.I tried both my Radius and Provari3 both with the same results. I threw the 510 connector back on and it works fine so I really can't figure out what the issue is. It seems like the 510 pin is too short and the insulator is too small.

Don't own a radius (yet). Took my recent vape budget and got a P3 topped GMZ mini and a P3 K4. (I figured that I love the 2.5 and if they got discontinued, I would be bummed if I didn't pick up a flat topped version. Radius is next in the queue. Unless it's a KF mini V3 or a kabuki d'elegance.

Anyway...
Yeah, the P3 base gives me the same hassle. Had to unscrew the the 510 so much that I only get a couple of twists of P3 connection. The 510 base, in my case, is a more solid and stable connection.

Was hoping it would be different when I got the Radius, but I guess I won't get my hopes up about that. Still going to get one as soon as budget allows.

The KF4/Radius is my setup of choice. I run the KF4 with a P3 connector on the Radius and have zero problems. I haven't looked at the base assembly since I put it together a couple of months ago, but I'll take a look at the area where the insulator goes when I get home from work tonight (running my Kabuki P3 right now).

Sound like something is not assembled right AND your pin has been compressed. Even though the pin on the p3 and radius has some give, it can still get compressed by 510 atties and stick. On my P3 I had to lift the pin some to free it up.

The oring on the firing pin can get compressed to the point it won't rebound so if you have a well used P3 or have used a 510 with a too long connector you may need to replace the oring. Try lightly lifting the pin first by pushing the oring under not prying on the pin.

On my K4 I have the pin backed out about 1/4 turn and it's fine. You said in another thread your pin falls out. That tells me your base is not keyed in, meaning it's not in the square cut out, or the nut is not fully seated. Check the fit by inserting the nut before assembly and make sure it can go all the way to the bottom.

Also the pin insulator has a smaller cut end and can be inserted upside down making it stick out farther than intended. It's probably a combination of things causing the issue.
