After i heard the sveomesto process of ultrasonicing and washing the thing several times... I confess i did not even think about it with the mini. I grew up in the uk though and good old maggie probably gave me mad cow anyway.

Think its a fab little tank.

Anyways question and i'm sorry i have seen people talk about it.. All my 3 tpradiuses on the new firmware are doing that thing where it shows 100% battery and then goes straight to empty.. Software bug i presume? Are they all snookered?! Eeek!

Since upgrading to version 20 on my wife's Radius, we haven't seen this issue. The battery life is much improved over version 19 and the battery bar appears to accurately? reflect the state of the battery. She is getting about 2-3 days from a charge.

You say on the new firmware, so you're referring to V20? If you are and your Radii are doing this, I'd open a ticket with Provape and let them help you. If you are not on V20, I'd upgrade immediately and see if the issue goes away.

Ok, it's Friday. This is supposed to be the big day, right? The revelation of nuclear secrets, an event of monumental proportions second only to, say, the opening of the Seven Seals? Ok, out with it :-x

Maybe you missed vape360's post yesterday saying they're still waiting for one of their suppliers and they'd be back next week. So I wouldn't expect anything of substance today.........Sorry.

Glad to join the Radius crew! I received the Radius and Squape Rs in the mail today. I won't get a chance to build the Squape until I get home from work. Going to be a long five hours.

Hello,

A little update for Friday. We are still waiting on a vendor to finish up some parts then we can provide a more detailed timeline. I hope we get more news next week, but I'll keep you posted as we learn more. :)
You mean we have to wait Another week to find out?

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Thank you. Aye they are all on v20.

Pretty discouraging to have 3 radiuses and a P3 act up in the space of a couple of weeks. I know they'll fix it but ugghhhh.

It's pretty odd you have 3 Radius all exhibiting this. Very few people have had this, so it doesn't seem to be symptomatic. If it was an actual bug in the software, it would be more common. You need to open a ticket and get their assistance. Sorry.

This is exactly why I never buy into the pre-release hype.
It's true. You are better off waiting 6 months on EVERYTHING. I purchased a Xbox One right away and 4 consoles later, I finally have one that's been working since March 2015. I bought the Kabuki right away before the general public working out the bugs, problems. I was taken care of properly but if I had waited, I would saved myself the headache. The 510 to P3 adapter I wished I would have waited as it doesn't make a connection with ProVape's beauty ring on Jackie V2 Mini. I'm sure we will work it out but if I would have waited 6 months, those problems would have been worked through by others.

Someday, I'll learn... Well, actually I kind of have. I waited a good 6 months to get our P3's and everything is just fine. I'll be damned if I buy Jackie a Radius before this summer...

I know it makes me question my own sanity... If it wasn't for being a web developer and seeing seemingly edge cases strike frequently, i very well might walk myself to the nearest comfy looking van. 3 devices not even all bought at the same time. A ticket shall be opened.

The good news is they're all Provari and Provape will take beyond good care of you. Yes they will!

If only ProVape would abandon the idea of an "energy gauge" and stick with reading actual battery voltage like everyone else. I love the voltage meter; the "energy gauge" - not so much. At least make it optional, ProVape - or add battery voltage to the display. In fact, the battery meter is so fat, you could put two bars in it - one for the current meter, one for actual voltage.

I charged my Radius in the car this morning while I was at a doctor's appointment. Vaping on a 15-minute drive to work, the battery meter dropped to 50% or so. It's been sitting on my desk for a while now, and the battery meter is reading full again. This is useless information. I'm on v20, and have usually been charging it overnight, because I really don't know how much battery voltage is left, so I have no idea when I need to charge it. Also, I had my Radius exchanged recently due to the last one having the bad capacitor issue, so I would assume the replacement doesn't have the old defective part.

PS - I'm running 30W. What wattage are you using @madangus? This could be an issue at higher wattage, but not at lower wattage. Just a theory...

Although I'm definitely an early adopter, I am not a fan of marketing gimmicks designed to hype up a product. I am definitely not suggesting that this is what ProVape is doing with their upcoming product, but I learned not to get excited about products that haven't been released. The best example is OnePlus and their LUDICROUS invite system. If you're not familiar with the company, they produce a very well-spec'd smartphone and sell it for a price of a mid-range device. The catch is that for the first few months, the device is sold via an invite. Want an invite? Be prepared to jump through hoops to try to score one. Most potential customers just gave up and bought other, more readily available devices. Others have sworn off OnePlus entirely, having been put off by the invite system.

Like everyone else on this thread, I'm excited to see what ProVape has in store for us. However, I'm not falling for the hype until an official announcement is made.

On a side note, I had the PS4 on preorder from Amazon. Upon receiving my system, whose packaging appeared to be tampered with (blame it on the Amazon employees, because UPS delivered a properly sealed package), I was greeted with the now-infamous blue light of death. Of course, Amazon promptly overnighted me a new system, despite supply shortages, but I definitely agree about the early adopter pains!

Yup, I agree on the battery gauge.

Yup, I agree on the battery gauge.

Me three ... I have one Radius that within an hour of vaping the batt gauge has dropped from full. I have another that after 2-3 hrs of vaping the batt gauge still shows full. Same atty's, same build, same 14 watts. And yes, I've experiment with them each after a full charge using only 'that' Radius and nothing else with basically the same vape pattern during the 'tests'.
