Quality!! looking forward to hearing what you have in store for us!

Oh, maybe a RadiMini  - well, I don't really think they make it (who wants "not enough battery life" after so much "not enough watt"). But I am free to dream about it?

binary star system......could be a dual battery version of the radius ;)
Back when Sir Rod dropped his otherwise zany pancake batter clue, there was speculation that batter = battery. If there's anything to that it could mean dual 18650s or a single 26550, or...?

Oh yes... a RadiMini

"not enough battery life" would probably be the same folks as "not enough watts". Hey they are already mad so what the heck. :D

You know what really sucks about Sir Rod (and ProVape for that matter) getting attacked for dropping us hints of the new product coming? Besides the fact he's a nice guy and didn't deserve it, if we never get advance warning or hints that something new is coming, that will be a real shame. If I was ProVape, I'd probably never play around again and let it be a complete surprise next time.

At least this way, I knew enough not to make any major, or frivolous for that matter, purchases that may be inline with what could be coming. Unless it was something I couldn't be without or didn't matter what is released, I'm waiting.

:thumb:

I'm thrilled when my favorite vendors drop hints, for the very reason you cite. Currently I have the luxury of waiting on TWO of these (this and one other). They are both to be very soon, and they are my two "Co-Number-One" vendors.

I feel fortunate that they gave me advance notice, allowing me to make my own decisions.

:pop:

Right come on then folks, final guesses before the reveal!

Im guessing a metal bodied Radius, cerakote finshes!

OR possibly some sort of quick release battery door?

Indeed.

R

I do hope it is soon cause I am ready to shop. Lol

Funny you should mention... I was thinking Ti Radius just a moment ago.

But the Stealth Radius is a good bet too, a better bet I should say.

Procyon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, Hmmm, Procyon, a binary star system, I'm still thinking it's a device much like the ZNA from HOH, maybe even a collaboration, with ProVapes electronics of course.

binary star system......could be a dual battery version of the radius ;)

I like the way you think, ENAUD. So, a PNA (for lack of a better term, at least right now).

And maybe with a Stealth version (PNA Stealth), or PNS (for short). A Stealth PNS!

Now THERE's an interesting concept, now that I think about it.

Wondering who your other vendor is ;).

I woke up to these posts and you've all put a smile on my face. Yes, you ALL have!!

And when I finally reveal what it 'really' meant, I will will put cotton balls in my ears to soften the groans...........;) But the clue does make sense. Totally!

Question for you guys that rebuild. How often are you rebuilding your coil? How often are you rewicking/dry burning? I've been noticing a 'rust' looking build up on my coil's after a few day. Cant imagine that being too good for my long term health.

If your coils are kanthal, it's not likely rust you see, but simply gunk building up on the coil from the juice you're using. I have found a coil can last a long time. Months in fact. Every time I change the wick, I burn off the gunk. I think I have one coil that is over 3 months old now and it keeps going and going. I tend to rewick as soon as I start to taste the flavor being off. About once a week.

I can generally get months from a coil with rewicking about once a week, depending on the e-liquid. Some e-liquids necessitate rewicking more often and/or changing the coil. After a dry burn, I will generally use a small flat head screwdriver and/or brush to remove any residue from the coil. I use Kanthal builds around 1.4-1.8Ω and vape in the 10-15w range.

I agree with RB - change the wick when the flavor is off - which happens more often with my wife, as she has a tendency to burn wicks by letting her liquid get too low.

Maybe I'll try to dry burn for a longer/high wattage. I dry burn, and get the nasty black junk off, but still see a brown residue/rust/ash. And yes, kanthal. 26 gauge sitting around 1ohm.

I out in new coils once a week usually. Most people don't do it as often. I dry burn a couple times a week. For me any build up really screws up my flavor. I don't like any burnt taste. I get that rusty look when I clean them cause I use tap water.

Yeah you should be able to get a few months from a coil. The discoloration you are seeing isn't worth worrying about happens with all coils. Likely the flavour inhilation could be the sticky wicket with vaping, but thats deliciously invisible :)
