So I was badmouthed yesterday....apparently they think I was ungracious over the gifted radius. Does anyone else here also feel that way? That I was less then appreciative over what happened?
No. I'm unfamiliar with the badmouthimg but I recall you were quite appreciative, Marine. For whatever it's worth.

The Radius is slowly taking over my vaping time.

Why?

USB charging. That's why.

A ProVari quality vape with no futzing.

It's a beautiful thing.

The P3s are getting ready for a spa visit to be updated.

The steel 2.5s are already in deep storage.

The Ti Minis are still on daily carry duty, but for how long?

Probably quite a while being lighter and smaller, but if I can get past my preference for carrying a symmetrical mod in my pocket.. no box of 350s to carry around.

It nice having that feature in a mod. My favorites are what the Radius brings. USB charging AND removable battery. Sometimes the USB is bit a slow, so I like to be able to swap if in a pinch.

But yes, I get it.

That being said, my 2.5's are going nowhere, and are, in fact, building in numbers ("Helloooooo, you sexy l'il thirty-dollah-baybee!"). Daily use, still. IN the house, at least.

The removable battery is nice, to be sure, but there are other mods that do that better if you need to change them out on a regular basis. Me? Never. When it goes bad, okay, but otherwise? nah.
I think many people fail to see the correct perspective on the Radius battery design. The Radius uses an integral battery design which allows for USB recharging. But they also made it easier to swap out the battery using a widely available battery and in a relatively simple swapping process. When compared to other mods using an integral battery, the Radius design is dramatically better from a user-friendly perspective. I think some people compare it to non-integral designs and that's where the comparison is unfair.

...and add to that the fact that once most integral battery mods no longer accept a recharge, the mod goes into the trash--a fitting end considering their cheap Chinese parentage.

I'd be looking at the Innokin Plug'nPlay mods, if I needed to change batteries during the day.

I trust them to make an accurate and safe vape.

I have an ancient MVP2 that's been sitting on the shelf, unused and unloved, for ages. It is still reading a 4V charge. I can't even remember the last time I charged it.

No, if I needed to change the battery in a mod daily, the Radius would not even be on the list.

Being able to replace the battery when it is no longer viable, now that is a good thing.

True. At best, they have to send them in to have a new battery installed. $$
