Check the o ring. If it looks deformed, it may have pushed out from under the pin.

Squish it back under the pin.

After using my two new KFL+ for a bit, I know what Zen was going for with the Kabuki design. The Kayfuns are great, but are definately finicky little buggers compared to my Kabuki (and nautilus) tanks.

If circumstances warrant, I hope Aspire will step up and build a quality deck for the nautilus. In a perfect world I would want HOH to fabricate it but I don't see it being fiscally possible if the regulations remain as they are. Let's just hope the Gummint comes to it's senses at some point.

After using my two new KFL+ for a bit, I know what Zen was going for with the Kabuki design. The Kayfuns are great, but are definately finicky little buggers compared to my Kabuki (and Nautilus) tanks.

Hence why both my KFL+ and Russian 91% are nice and clean sitting in my vape drawer and will be brought back to life IF I can not get any more Nauty Coils for the Buki's. The Buki's taste just as great as a Kayfun and are about 1000% simpler in everyday life and use. Yes they are!

Jackie hasn't used her K4 since obtaining the Kabuki but in preparing for the up and coming vapocalypse we will be getting spare parts.

The base on one of my Kabuki's is a bit difficult to remove ... or at least get started to come off. I've always had to resort to the allen wrench on the set screw or in the air hole, to get the base started to come off.

TODAY, I realized I could use one of those rubber ring thingies that some folks use around glass tanks to help protect the glass. I don't use them but had one laying around that was tossed in vape mail as a freebie. The rubber ring thingie around the base works as a gripper !!! Cool

Wish the Kabuki base had knurled or ridged features though.

Yup, same issue here. I've actually stopped using my Kabuki cause of it. Just a pain to fill. I mostly just use my Kayfun mini 3. Really wish the Kabuki had a rebuildable option, along with a top fill option.

All I use are the Kayfun mini 3's. Best vape, easy to use, clean, and fill. Sold my Kabuki a few weeks after buying it as it just doesn't fit my needs.

I had the same problem with my Kabukis, UNTIL I fitted them with the silicone O-rings from HoH:

Now, simple finger pressure allows me to remove the Kabuki base for refilling/cleaning with no leakage and less worry about over-stressing the glass ...

I just turn my mod upside down and unscrew the glass/top from the base. With or without the OMG rings. Works even with the large white rings that come with the GMZ tank. The base/coil stays on the mod. I never have refilling issues. Easier to refill than my Kayfuns, Crowns, Nautilus, etc.
