Official ProVari Radius Thread - Part 2

I'm not buying any new mods- the ones I have all fell under wants rather than needs & even with the deeming, I dont need any more.

All the shopping folks are doing constantly reminds me of how people shop when there's a bad snow storm coming. It's only after they've bought up everything that the forecast changes & we don't get the snow at all.

I feel somewhere down the line, this storm will also pass.

I bought some nic because I was out, and a couple squonkers because I wanted them, and that's it. I'm not ready to panic yet. Although it's a bit more real now, this threat has been going on since I got here, almost 4 years ago. I hope for the best, but also think we have enough time to hoard stuff like replacement heads if we need to.

Until you come over to the other side (Provarnati)...you might not get it-I'm almost tempted to wager- after the Switch you wont go back to anything else ever again.

I have USB charging in my car but I take the subway to work BTW, I have several Provari's (2.5, 3). I also have the Provarinati end cap. Love them..that's why I really wish the Radius had a super simple battery compartment. Hoping they will consider that for the next version.

thick here..and I get it..you're into the routine (squonking)..like so many of us have been. You know about the ladder?
anyway...thick cause til you once again 'splain it to me like Im 5 years old-
I dont see why its not a simple batt compartment.
practice...(maybe a lil dexterity)and the 2 screws come loose w/2 fingers. But if you burn through a batt on a subway??
well -
(oh and you could stock up on an extra couple screws, in case one falls on the tracks-)
die hard ? sorry. just do it- grab a radius- 2 years form now you'll be glad you did.

I mean ..anyone with a crystal out there? what coils will be the hardest to get in 2 years?
what builds will endure, and which will have 4-5 more versions in 2-3years?

Count me as one of the vapocalypse folks. I smoked the coffin nails for 30+ years before switching to vapes, and live with a smoker. The only thing standing between me and a stinkie is my vape. The deeming is an imminent threat to that barrier, so I'm taking every precaution I can. Really cheeses me off too.

After 3 years of happily tootle puffing on just 3 Provis and matching old fashioned z-atties while finishing my bachelors degree and off ECF, BOOM the deeming happens. I bought a couple p2.5s, a few mech side-by-sides, and a boatload of cheap gennies, and still feel unprepared and panicky. The two in-transit Radii are the final, biggest investment in my future as a vaper, and I can't begin to find words for how much peace of mind that purchase bought, even though we'll be eating cat food for the next month. And it'll be worth the sacrifice. Meow.

i do think the DIY's talkin freezin Nic isnt a bad idea.
In fact those of us that arent DIY... should take on a new hobby.

CONGRATS... All anyone can do is not "fear", yet be prepared. you'll have the Radius and other Pvs for years-
Im pretty certain 18650-s arent going anywhere, so its just a stash of Nic, and you're good for a long time coming.
btw- Congrats on the "smoker" of the house too..This is a world war battle for liberties and individual choice.
best case scenario- history repeats itsself, and prohibition saw little shortage on imported scotch whiskey, just a raise in $$. This aint over yet.

I've been DIYing for a couple years, and bought three gallons of 100/1000th the day after the deeming came out. That should last for the rest of both my and my smoking relatives' lives, hence my mad dash for rigs. If the deeming floats away like so much smoke, the worst case for me and mine is I bought on the cheap, except for the White Queen and the King of Stealth...

Folks have bought extra screws. I read quite a few post of new Radius owners who lost one of the screws.

Yah, I ordered an extra set of screws, and will buy more later as well.

It does. The Radius comes with the same 510 and ring as the P3, Classic and Procyon.

Quick question...I am looking for a good RTA to use with the Radius. I already have a Kayfun, but am looking for something different. I am after excellent flavor and something that looks good to compliment the Radius.

To take advantage of the P3 threading, there is the Calix from ByLeo out there with a P3 connection. I will always urge people toward my favorite atomizer - the Erlkonigin.

Thanks Scotdc for letting the P3 community know Leo builds a P3 connection. However these RBAs also employ plastic/plexi tanks, not quartz glass or pyrex. For the unaware of issues with some liquid flavors and plastics please do your homework first. If your looking for an alternate to Kayfun theres the HouseofHybrids RBAs with glass/SS/alt.
We're all hoping for new P3 options. Another reason to delay a tad on the stocking up due to FDA regs. The years not through yet. Vapings still advancing.
