Well, then. I think you made up my mind. Thanks.

Yup, I bought the stainless and Clapton you recommended. The SS was a breeze, while the Clapton took some figuring out. Might be easier to overcome the Clapton's resistance to coil to size if I torch it; my first attempt was a 2.5mm that came out at 3.0+, but still managed to fit on a Goblin mini without shorting. I couldn't get the cotton to wick in that, so I built a second coil at 2.0 that came out closer to 2.5 and wicks beautifully. I think that's still too big for the atty, as the Radius constantly errors out in cc mode. Ah well, it's a thing of beauty in watts mode. That's great!! The mail lost one of my orders once from them too and they were right on top of it. I'm really glad you're enjoying the vape.
So You bought the regular 316L, and the Clapton with stainless core and kanthal wrap? I try to get 8-9 wraps of the stainless if I can fit it. So much surface area! I'm really happy it's working out well for you.
Sometimes I still really excited about a product (cough triton mini coils ) and hen after a week I realize I was caught up. I've been using the Clapton wire for I think 3weeks now. I build almost everything with it. I waited to race a little while this time. I'm learning !!
The radius seems to be build for stainless coils around the .45-.65 mark if you look at the list. My guess is replicating material and resistance of a designated tank gets he best results. Not they I'm getting bad results a by higher up, but I have to believe it's tuned in first release for that list primarily.
I've recommended the wire in a few threads (not really cross posts - specific to the devices) where I thought it really awakened a given tank or whatever. I hope we see a lot more people give it a shot and smiling big with flavor satisfaction and good DENSE vape. I wish I knew how to get quality dense vape earlier. And this wire gives us a very easy way in most tanks.
I was shocked the chalice v3 can accept it too. For squonk fans. That is a 16mm atty with tiny build deck and minuscule hollow screws. - the wire diameter is probably around 27 gauge standard kanthal. I'll take a measurement with calipers tomorrow.
Man I typed a book again. Sorry all, too thorough and banging on. No more about it unless someone asks a specific question I didn't answer already (impossible!)
I need to get my two mm class minis sold so
I can get a second radius.
My mistake...I checked my receipt and discovered it is Graphite Gray. It looks black in my hand, so I was assuming it was the stealth coating. Apologies, I didn't intend to confuse anyone. Is that gun metal or stealth?
Thanks, Jim

Very Nice!!!My mistake...I checked my receipt and discovered it is Graphite Gray. It looks black in my hand, so I was assuming it was the stealth coating. Apologies, I didn't intend to confuse anyone.
As stated above, though, it has held up extremely well.
I have had it happen with the included 25r and one of my trusty LG hg2's, in Watts mode I have found the battery meter to be extremely accurate all the way down to a properly discharged battery, only in cc has it kicked it out between 3.7-3.8.Inconsistent battery chemistry could explain it. What would be beneficial is for those experiencing it to change the battery and see if it continues. Preferably to a different brand
I know on the p3 aw was no longer recommended because the low internal resistance caused issues with the meter and such. I wonder if the 25r inside the radius is being manufactured in several locations and sourced through the same wholesaler but different origin points. Or if batches are varying. Do all those experiencing the issue have the standard battery. Extended battery ??
Anyone using aw 650 inside the radius ?
...My husband bought me a Chalice III for xmas last year by mistake--I don't have a squonker...
'cept maybe with a Custom ClassicsGet yourself a REO and get your squonk on with that Chalice. Hard combo to beat IMHO.![]()
The Chalice 3 can be used as a regular dripper. No modification needed.Get yourself a REO and get your squonk on with that Chalice. Hard combo to beat IMHO.![]()
'cept maybe with a Custom Classics(they actually do hit harder then a reo)

For sure. It's a little flavor bomb in my opinion. The Chalice 3 can be used as a regular dripper. No modification needed.
I like it like that from time to time.
Jim
Y'all have convinced me to take mine out of mothballs. I stored it with my original k28 at 1.2ohms build. I think I'll try SS w/cc.I'll have to take your word for it. I have not had the pleasure yet....

If you talk to corey (the maker of the Custom Classics mods), he can make you some solid silver contacts that will fit the reo with a bit of retro-fitting....from all accounts it makes the reo hit almost as good as a CCI'll have to take your word for it. I have not had the pleasure yet....

Congrats. I have the full stealth and it looks great. I think the grey metal will look even better than my black as it will give a bit of contrast.I just pulled the trigger on a 60 watt Radius.
Black body, Graphite Grey metal, Stealth button, Stealth window, 3000mAh battery, 60 watt firmware upgrade.
Eager to finally try it!
No CC (Coil Control) for me!
I'll mainly be running 1.0-1.2 ohm coils at 10 watts...but I AM going to use the remaining 50 watts to -play- with some other tanks and builds I've wanted to try.
Wait.Should I stay (wait for the next flash sale) or should I go ("pull the trigger")?
