I use this USB block for my charging station:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019GB57R4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought extra data/charger cords for my phone to use as the USB connectors for the Radii, tablets, and my other USB toys that need USB charging. They seemed to be better quality than other charger cords that came with things, and I found a good deal on multipacks of them.

I am waiting for the Amazon delivery of these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LS5R6OS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LWQ933G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
so that I have something smaller for my office desk. I've never tried these, so I can't give a review yet, but the USB Block has worked well for me this past year.

I just ordered the iClever BoostStrip IC-BS02 Power Strip, so I'm waiting also. I'd like to be able to mount it to the side of a cabinet that's next to my charging table, so I'll have to see if that's going to be possible w/o ruining it.

Velcro, maybe?

3M makes a series of no mar hangars, ( 3M Command) they use an adhesive that is very strong, but if you need to remove it, you just pull the tab and the adhesive stretches out and looses its stickiness. They really do work good. I use just the adhesive strips sometimes to stick things where I need them. Check your local hardware store ;)

Mine arrived last night. The bottom doesn't have holes for a wall mount, and the bottom is plastic. You might be able to use velcro with sticky back to mount on the side of a cabinet, but it does have a heavy cable for the AC supply that might try to pull it down. They may have assumed that you wanted the slot for holding a phone and needed a table model.

The bar strip did have a wall plate and holes for wall mounting.

That's really clever. I'll go look at that, not because I need it, but just because it's so clever.

Hi! I made an account to ask a few questions. I have a Radius arriving today (Yay me!)

Should I order any other parts while they are still available. I noticed the bottom screws and The 510 connection.

I know the 510 connection says it’s for the P3, will that work on the radius?

I assume that the bottom screws are just incase you lose one. Will they wear out at all?

Worst case scenario my father and brother are machinists so they *could* make me new ones if need be, but the cost of buying what is already available would be far less than having them remanufactured later.

I have been using a V2.5 for 3 years and had been putting off upgrading for a while, but now that Provape is finished I pulled the trigger. I just love my Provari and am super sad to see them go.

Thank you for your time. I did search a little looking for an answer, but there was too much to sort through. Over a 1,000 posts in the two radius threads. Wow.

Congrats on your Radius Whiz! Welcome to the family.

The screws are an option if you are afraid you may lose one. I've had my first radius for well over a year and have only opened the bottom once to put a new battery in. I didn't get the screws tight enough, and they started coming out - so I guess it is definitely possible you could lose one if you don't check them regularly to ensure they are tight. I believe there are a few here who have indeed lost a screw, so maybe better safe than sorry, but your choice of course.

The radius is a P3 connection and will come with the adapter and beauty ring so you can use 510 attys. There have been many instances (if you have time to read through the forum) where the P3 connection adapter and beauty ring get stuck on a 510 atty, and if you can't get them off then you won't have the adapter to use on another atty so it will fit the Radius. My opinion is backups for these items are a must before you can no longer get them - but again, it's your choice as to how much risk you are willing to take.

If you have the funds I recommend backups. I hope you enjoy your Radius as much as you have your 2.5!

Thank you Cari. You explained everything perfectly. I was thinking that the 510 connection was for a certain mod, not the actual connection; and a lightbulb went off when I read your reply. I had a duh moment. I will absolutely be picking up a few of them. I just got my Radius and am taking it for a spin now. I wish I had upgraded last year.

Hello Whiz, welcome to the Radius family. You won't regret buying your Radius.

Now that Provape has closed :( we have become a very exclusive group of vapers!

My guess is that it is wise to have some spare connections and beauty rings. I understand that the proprietary Provape connection size is called P3 so the 510 connection is not only for the actual P3 device.

Regarding the screws the only ones available at provarifuel.com are the bronze ones, but that's better than not having any extras.

Welcome aboard. Yup, that Radius is a delight.
Regarding spares. On the one hand, they are a good thing to have, especially (and sadly) if a vendor has ceased production.
On the other hand, I don't think you need to go overboard unless you're a careless sort of person. I've only removed the bottom of my Radius's once in 2 years, and that was when they arrived to check them out. From sad experience, I now only disassemble things on a plate or something to catch fatfingeriing errors. (Since the time I took apart my kitchen sink pipes to retrieve a tiny brass pin from a mod which I stupidly was washing over an open drain. STUPID. Of course, that wasn't the stupidest thng I've done in my life. I'm compiling a list of them. Those interested can PM me for details. No, just kidding. I do have the list, but I ain't sharing it.)
I think if you've tightened the 510 adapter well, it's not too likely to freeze onto an atty.
Still, good to have spares, just don't go nuts. I say to myself, after buying a handful of springs for my old Provari's, despite never having changed a spring in them before. Still, they were only a buck a piece. BTW, need any springs?

A couple of things:

The Radius bottom plate is spring loaded.

It is important to hold it firmly pressed against the polycarbonate body when installing the screws. The screws need to be well and truly tightened down.

The screws will back out if there is any play at all.

Use a glove, if need be, to make sure. These screws can really chew up your fingers.

Number Two...

The 510 needs to be tightened wih a coin.

Overtightening an atty is not such a great idea.

The biggest problem is caused when removing an atty.

It is essential to make sure to only loosen the atty and not the beauty ring.

You will lock up the whole shebang if you start loosening the atty and then inadvertently screw the beauty ring up against the atty base.

This is easy to do because the beauty ring is wider than the 22mm that most mods and attys adhere to. So, when you go to grab the atty, watch out for that beauty ring. It is better to hold the mod and beauty ring firm, and then remove the atty.

I did this once and, as I recall, the solution was counterintuitive, involving screwing the beauty ring even tighter up against the atty base, then screwing it all back down, and holding the beauty ring firm while removing the atty; but don't hold me to it.

The main thing to remember? That beauty ring needs to be down, all the way, anytime there is an atty anywhere near it.

I received my iClever BoostStrip IC-BS02 Power Strip today, and used the usb to charge my iPhone. Man was it slow. Finally put the phone on the wall adapter that came with the phone to finish it up. I'll have to try a different usb on it next time to see if it's the same.

Does your OEM charger and plug on the iPhone support faster charging? My Samsung charges faster on the OEM wall plug than it does on the USB charger block. Using the samsung charger doesn't make the other toys charge faster because they don't support super charging.
