Opsguy..let's play nice.... both companies are top notch (I use them both that's why:) One thing I have noticed is each vendors cartos work best on their own batteries...but variety is nice so there's room for both in my opinion....not trying to pick on you...just had to put in my 2 cents worth...

Just wanted to pop in and say I just turned my friend on to the Volt and he loves it. He likes a lot of flavors so he checked with a big well known vendor (who shall remain nameless) who carries a huge selection of flavored carts and asked them if their cartos were the horizontal coil ones like Volt carries? They got back to him and their answer was "No ours are not the horizontal coil ones, but ours coolcarts are better". What a load of hogwash. I personally have use their cartos and told him they all have a washed out flavor and get that dreaded burnt taste.

So I think I conviced him to stick with Volt cartos. But I sure hope Imagine will add more flavors so we all can just buy from SI from now on.

That's about the only thing the 'unnamed' vendor has going for them -- lots of flavors. But better to do 10 flavors well than 50 marginal ones (I mean really, how many people love tequila flavored cartos?) At least for now SI has the better style cartos and maybe in the near future they can add more mainstream flavors, like *cough* Mint.

edit: ut oh, now Iowa will unhappy with me too

Are you saying that the "other" batteries don't work as well with SI cartos?

chimney55 - Actually as Star pointed out some time ago...they are okay with the SI cartos, but better after they have been used awhile (only half hour or so) straight from the charger they seem to run too hot?

Star - not at all..... I LOVE the SI cartos...I just would like to live in a glitter and unicorn world where we can all get along:) I know I don't live in real world. You've been around long enough to understand you have true friends in many worlds...guess that sounds like a voltran - sounds like a line from Star Trek.....

You guys type way faster than I do:banana:

By the way......love the batteries too.....can't wait to order my Sky Blue Manual tomorrow:rickroll: Oh yea...already said that earlier...

Where I usually am
I know that I have tried just about all of them .........the "cool" the "wow" and many others and I check out the ohms on all and the SI cartos remain consistent every time,....even the blanks!. I have spent hundreds of dollars on 808's and 901's trying to find the best carto for these kr808 batts and so far none of them measure up to the Smokeless Image cartos.:)
EDIT.....I'm not propping anyone up... just stating the facts of my findings. I have tested them on factory batts and on my ProVari testing at 3.5 to 4 volts

I agree with iowa gal --no need to bash other vendors to prop up SmokelessImage. There's room for everyone !

I didn't take it as bashing, just pointing out the differences. Surprises me that some places still use the old vertical coils. But those carts are better suited for other batteries. I guess a good compromise would be to use juice from where ever you prefer in the Volt cartos. Win/Win. :)

I know the subject of drip tips has come up before, and I've seen the aluminum and plastic variations although I've never tried them - but has anyone seen them made out of a similar material as the carto caps? Something sort of soft that you can bite onto. <-- still talking about drip tips here.

Soft Flex Drip Tips | Sweet-Vapes E-Liquid Never used them..but sounds like what you might be looking for

Yeah..that is the problem... too many juices...too many choices... I probably have a stash to hold me over until 2013 if I'm being honest:)

Hi Star:) The closest I can get to the carto with a drip tip to match is the derlin drip tip..
EDIT... just realized you said caps.... with the caps being rubber, the only ones I know of are the ones made for the CE2's I have used these on them and they do fit.... and FYI, the aluminum drip tips that I have purchased from various venders do not fit well on 808 carts. They are a bit too loose for them.

if you are just looking for something to protect your teeth...i just cut the top off the carto condom and leave it on the carto....but if you are looking to drip....then that won't make sense for ya :p
Thanks for the replies. Its not so much that I want matching, I just want it made out of that same soft rubber, just shaped like a drip tip. I'll check out that link. Thanks!

edit: heck, they even say in their description they pop out easy and can't hold the weight of an e-cig. Oh well

I know you're busy with vape related business things. I just want to ask if there is any chance that we VOLTains could get VOLT branded merchandise in the future. T-shirts and such?
