OK so I did a little snooping, and there 3 vendors that qualify to be discontinued. The rules say the max allowed is 80, and if they are inactive they can be removed. Inactive = less than 10 posts per month. Now granted some have only just started a month or two ago. But these 3 are older. 1) no posts at all since 2/25/11. 2) 3 posts in June, forum started Dec. 3) 6 in June, forum started 13 mos ago.
Wouldn't you think those qualify to be booted to make room for SI?

There are steps that have to be made by the forum admin. Those companies have paid for their slot, so it's not just a "no posty...you get the booty". I know that a few suppliers that were very inactive several months ago were contacted several times by Misty (I believe that is who it was), and they apparently got something worked out as they still have their subforum....(there were posts in their subforum about contacting her) It is not cheap to get a subforum slot....I'm surprised that just by paying the big bucks for it that they are not more acitve.

OK, well I got the 10 posts rule from reading the rules Rolygate had posted. Maybe they paid in advance for a year or something, who knows. I was thinking of writing the bosses and see what they say - is Misty a better choice than Angus? I really don't know who's who in the admin dept.

You really get around Keela, I'm going to stay on your good side

I am a knowledge nut (well ever since I was not forced to learn:laugh:). Nah....I love traveling...hehehe....and I pick up a few things here and there;) As far as who to contact, I'd probably start with Angus and just ask him who to contact....he will definitely know where to send ya...without looking it up I'd bet:laugh:
