ok ~ thanks daisy! guess I'd be dumb not to grab that pcc...right? right? tell me, I need it right? :p
If you do not have a pcc studies show you have an increased risk of bad dates, food poisoning, missing the downtown bus, mosquito infestations and dead and dying houseplants. I would not wait one minute longer if I were you!

Dang! You almost scared ME into getting one! Then I remembered all my batteries are 78s and won't fit. Does that mean all those curses will happen anyhow?

Hi Atchungbaby! (Whenever I see your name I think of the German word "achtung" - haha! - warning, warning! watch out! attention!) The PCC is pretty cool and a nifty way to carry a spare battery that is charging (or done charging) along with an assembled e-cig. I didn't really "need" it, but I bought it because I couldn't resist temptation and I thought it would appeal to smokers and help convince them that e-cigs are worth at least trying. (You know how mostly all smokers won't even consider an e-cig if it isn't about the same size as a regular cigarette.)

The regular batteries that fit in the PCC are pretty tiny and it was weird when I used my first fully charged one. I'm not used to batteries dying on me so fast - or even charging batteries throughout the day anymore. They brought back some good (or not so good) memories of days gone by =) But, if you have another charged up battery ready to go, you can pop in the battery that needs recharged and chances are, it will be all charged up and ready to go by the time the other battery loses its charge, etc.

All I really wanted personally was to try the cartos. Well, to get the best results, you really need to use them on the Volt batteries. I'm still trying to decide if they are better than what I'm currently using. I haven't used them long enough to be able to tell how long a carto lasts before it loses its taste. They do put out a lot of vapor, which is impressive to many people and especially to smokers you're hoping to convert. But to me, clouds and clouds of vapor just means they require more refilling of the joose. Yep, they are joose hogs, but they hold a lot of it. The joose sellers are gonna love the fact if their customers are using Bloog or Volt cartos.

They sure do taste good. The taste is right up there with 510 dual coil cartomizers on an eGo or Riva. I was kinda bummed out that they aren't that great on a 5-volt passthrough.

I believe the Volt really is the same as Bloog and you can go on youtube and most likely find several videos. I think I remember there is one of Leaford demo-ing the PCC. If you go to Smokeless Image's or Bloog's site, I think you can see the PCC pretty well. It's black and shiny and has a window and blue lights. I got one battery with a green light and one with a purple light. I also chose black for both battery colors. While the battery is charging, you can see the charging battery's light through the little window if you tilt the PCC a little to look down into it. On the top left side of the PCC below the windo, the Volt logo lights up in blue, and on the right side you push a little button that can toggle between indicators that show the charge level on the battery and the charge level of the PCC. It doesn't stay lit up constantly though - that would just use more electricity and most likely decrease its lifespan. Although, you can replace the rechargeable battery of the PCC, which I don't think is a common feature of PCCs in general. IDK, I never bothered with them before, so the PCC is all new to me. It's about the size of a smart phone. So Achtungbaby ;) I hope you reach your goal and can get this cool new toy! I agree with you about having a non-fiddly e-cig to "cut your teeth" on. A dependable, well-made 808 type is probably the way to go. Volt certainly fits the bill, without breaking the bank.

ewww Janet...Very Jealous! Lucky girl! So you have to tell me..how's the case? I ordered the kit w/2 batts but promised myself if I quite cigs I can have the case..It looks sooo cool!
I'm glad you had a nice afternoon and enjoyed yourself! I think Volt is most DEFIANTLY the way to go for converts as well as those who just prefer a non fiddly analog type experience. 31 flavors ~~right? :)
Thanks for sharing!

Wahoo! I'm going to have a good date! I'm going to have a good date!...yeh..I grabbed that lil shiny awesome pcc case! It's mine all mine - muahahahaha! and some grape..and some blanks...

So Ms. Janet...thank you for all your help. :)
And it's funny what you said about Achtung. ~ Here's a little story; I am a U2 junkie. Way back in 1991 when I was young (um..er, young-er) U2 released the all amazing album Achtung Baby on my birthday. It's said that the name refers to a line from the 1968 film The Producers by Mel Brooks. Their sound producer had been quoting it during the time of the albums production, as like you said....Warning/Caution or Attention baby!
The album is darker more introspective then their previous highly criticized Rattle and and proved as a "reinvention" of the band.
" Seeking inspiration on the eve of German reunification, U2 began recording Achtung Baby in Berlin's Hansa Studios in October 1990. The sessions were fraught with conflict, as the band argued over their musical direction and the quality of their material. Achtung Baby is one of U2's most successful records. It earned favourable reviews and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Top Albums, while topping the charts in many other countries. It spawned five hit singles, including "One", "Mysterious Ways", and "The Fly". The album has sold 18 million copies worldwide and won a Grammy Award in 1993 for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. One of the most acclaimed records of the 1990s, Achtung Baby is regularly featured on lists of the greatest albums of all time. "
So the name of the album was their flippedness..a joke.
OK...so I'm sure no one really wanted a U2 history lesson, but point is...I screwed up when registering for ECF. What a ding-dong. AND never noticed until I went to log on to a store and used the proper spelling which wouldn't work. :glare:
Only one other person picked up on it, (not sure if she knows she did) yssiM calls me Ach. On chat they often call me u2...

So dear friends...do I leave it be in all my silliness or do I re-register? What do you think?

Hi don't re-register, they will delete the new name because it will pop up as the same IP address for both and they don't allow users to have more then one ID (to prevent spamming and other similar behavior)... If you want to change it just ask a MOD like Misty or Angus how to go about changing it :) just my 2 cents :)

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYONE! ESPECIALLY OUR ACTIVE DUTY & VETS!!

Imagine is absolutely right... you can keep your account and post history, etc. but request that the name be changed. I just recently noticed that done for someone who used to go by FamousDave, but everyone kept asking him if he was the real Famous Dave of the BBQ Rib restaurants, so they let him change it. All his posts stayed intact but had a different name next to it.
