I can save you a trip, my next door neighbor "has" two cats that live in a shed and use my bark dust exclusively for their litter box..... one of them is actually quite meaty-looking....Can I post a picture of me cooking dinner... While vaping a VOLT... For you farcebook contest?

OK, technical question for some of you out there. It's an issue I've been experiencing with the BMF cartomizers and now I'm seeing it with the SI cartos as well.
The problem is that the electrical resistance of the cartos varies quite a bit in some cases and it makes a big difference in performance.
Last night I took two five-packs of cartos each from my BMF and SI stashes and metered them out. Long story short, in both batches:
- Less than half metered at or near optimal resistance (~2.4 to 2.9 ohms);
- Half or more metered well above optimal (~3.2 - 3.9 ohms; in this category it was 50% for SI, 60% for BMF).
- The average for both batches was just above 3.0 ohms; Standard deviation for both batches was statistically insignificant at ~.27, but the difference from lowest to highest was whopping 39%!
IIRC, in SteelJan's review all cartos in one box appeared to be in the 2.7 to 2.9 ohm range, which should perform well. My batches from either brand are nowhere near as consistent, and I can tell when I get one on the high end of the range. The vapor is cooler, there's less of it, and flavor drops considerably.
I certainly understand that things like this can easily happen when manufacturing overseas (the company I work for manufactures in HK and wee see it all the time). In many if not most cases a resistor that's out of spec by 5-10% is no big deal. But differences just South of 40% at ends of the range seems like a big deal to me.
So I wonder... is the nominal resistance for these cartos really supposed to be at or near 2.7 ohms?
Is this variation something that anyone else has seen or is seeing?
What kind of variation should we expect to see... in other words, is a range from 2.4 to 3.9 ohms considered an acceptable manufacturing deviation for these cartomizers?
Please know, I'm not bashing here, and certainly not on a particular brand. Just looking for answers and, if this is not uncommon, pointing out a potential QA issue that might need to be looked into.
65mm's coming a day earlier!? sweet...65mm batts new and cartos should be up by the end of the afternoon![]()

Mistakes are always possible. Will double check the meter and re-measure sometime tonight.
Want me to drive to Ohio to help?![]()
hugs also, having been in retail for 25 years (some of us never get out) and having had one of those days where I sweetly smiled while being ***ched at all day I can definitely say that retail sucks a lot of the time, and people like those at Smokeless Image should be celebrated for their dedication to the customer.Oh bless your hearts Imagine! Retail really really stinks at times. Been there and done that....and only miss it sometimesJust make sure you guys make it fun for yourselves
(((hugs))) to all of you workin to hard!
ya'll hang in there and try to make it fun, imagine -- tell all of your cohorts there that you have a mob of webfiends lurking and watching your site for the new goodies!
(I feel kinda sorry for whoever has to watch your live chat thing...I've had a window open to your site now for a week! "no you can't help me!....no really, you can't help me....!)
Hi everyone, Unfortunately everyone is still trying to finish the inventory counts and get the stock entered on the site...it is all in the building ....the owners, stock, packing and web people are all staying late tonight to get this finished and up on the site as soon as possible... we apologize for the delay.
