I’ll pull back the curtain a bit and have a moment of honesty. I’m sold on SI and the volt. I have no desire to shop around. I have had incredible customer service and think the value is there in spades. The honesty comes in with regard to inventory. I have wanted to share my story and hopefully steer business your way but have held off. The folks I’m looking to share with are family, such as my mother and 2 brother-in-laws. I’ve held off because I don’t want to send them your way and then be embarrassed when what I raved about, and what I told them to try, isn’t available. The glowing reviews here on ECF have given me confidence that once replenished, it should be smooth sailing, so I’ll skip the wait and see period. But there may be some folks who haven’t heard or researched your company like I have and may be reluctant to refer.

I’m not looking to bust your hump over things that are, for the most part, out of your control. I kindda wanted to echo connie a bit, and raise attention on the impact of it all. For me, the worst that happened is that referrals to prospects were delayed. Once the inventory is back, I’ll put your name out there and hope to get ya some sales. I hope I have assurances that I can count on you folks to make good on your end.

I’m not trying to flame you guys. I hope my tone comes across as helpful, not angry. It’s easy to develop a reputation as the guys that put out a good product at a good value, but are just too inconsistent. I’d like to see good things for SI and honestly only wish to help.

I think SI is doing a wonderful job with their innovatory! :thumb: My post was meant as a heads up only. Want to let them know that BECAUSE they are doing such a great job to be prepared for the influx of new customers. :2cool:
I realize there is not much they can do about all the stupid stuff coming down from BOTH governments except to stay ahead as much as they can. That is the main point I was trying to get across. SI is doing a dang good job so far IMHO. :toast:

Well, it's been a month with these original Volt cartos, and I really should be thinking about getting some new ones, but I'm broke! After a month of cleaning once or twice a week, they're finally showing some wear. I even thought some of them were gone, but out of desperation, I gently poked around the post hole with a pin, trying to feel for an opening, being really careful not to dislodge the coil, and whoa, they're working like champs again! I thought my cleaning method was taking care of this, but I guess there must've been a crud bb in there. Come on, Labor Day sale! :)

Here, there, everywhere!
there will be a Labor day sale...will announce it this week :p

I had never noticed your signature before... I love it!
Then I saw Star's, I got a two for one laugh this morning ;)
Thanks!

Thanks for pointing those out - I just had very good mid-day laugh.

Got to work this morning and one of our jobsites in NY is not fairing too well (we work on bridges) so needless to say we might be losing some very expensive equipment to the sudden flooding. But I know we are a very small amount of the damages that this Hurrican has bestowed on people. I hope everyone stays safe and can recover from such a catastrophic event.

As soon as I found out blanks were in stock I ordered some. Placed the order Saturday morning, shortly after midnight. I got a notice they were shipped mid-afternoon Saturday. They arrived in today's mail! (Bear in mind that yesterday was Sunday) Even though I'm in Ohio I am amazed at the quick delivery.

Just filled three of the cartos and all's right with my world again. Well.....most of it anyway.

Could someone please post a pic of a 75 next to a 68. Thinking about going to the 75 but I need visuals not a tape measure:)

Also is you have a manual a pic of the button? While I love the auto I am thinking about getting a couple manuals.

Here's one not really focused on the batteries but you can sorta see the button too

I guess this shows the size comparison too

Here's a better one for ya

I'm not sure if you'll be able to zoom in or expand these but the first two are in my albums. Hope that helps.

Thank you - so they really aren't that much longer......
Is the button smaller than the 510 buttons?

Ugh, my Monday conference call makes me want to beat my head against the wall - do you Voltians know I spend all my conference calls checking in with you all and catching up on the SI thread? I really earn my scratch, don't I? And LauraE, I measured those 2 batteries side by side when I first got my 78s and they are exactly 1/2 inch longer.
