Hmmmm that doesn't make sense to me... It would seem more likely a browser issue then a os issue... I will have to check with IT. We r in no way trying to exclude Mac users .... As I am typing from my iPhone

I use Safari. That may have been the problem. But that's the Internet program that comes with Macs, isn't it?

BTW,, thought I killed a batt. I screwed a flooded carto on and the battery drank it up
All it did was flash and soon quit all together so from the battery connection, I dipped it 1/2 inch inisopropyl alcohol for about ten minutes. Then I had tossed it in a sock and literally wrecked my shoulder swinging it around to empty out the battery. Then I twisted up some cleanex and pushed it in the center contact hole just like SteelJan did in her vid and left it n upside down for 2 hours.
Working like new again!!

Yes I will def look into this ... It is by no means on purpose if it is the case.

I never thought it was on purpose -- just an oversight. Also, I was probably one of the first ones to order during the HEATWAVE sale, so I'm sure they fixed it after I told them of the problem. But would the problem happen again with a new sale code? Does it have to be fixed every time? I don't know, so I thought I'd give a heads-up.

As far as the drama, I am a completely neutral party. As long as there is not abusive bullying behavior in our threads I have no doubt that we are all adults and can handle ourselves accordingly. That being said.... I would really like everyone to feel comfortable posting and participating in this thread. Our popularity in the forum is a great gift to SI and it's customers and SI can't exist without you guys and visa versa (well maybe not the versa haha)....but we are all in this together to support each other on our vaping journey's....and in the end we must remember that is the most important thing

I would rather not have to be the hall monitor or RA to the forum, but it will ultimately fall on me to make sure everyone is treated fairly and kindly. I would therefore agree strongly with Starsong about the ignore member option if certain posters are just not your cup of tea.

In the end this is a public forum meant for people to speak their minds....and I truly do not believe in censorship...we must accept for us to speak freely what might upset someone else ...means we must accept reading posts that upset us at times...and type can always be misread or taken the wrong way ....and from time to time there will be instances where we will have a drama situation ....but at the end of the day its about the vapor

One thing with the smilies......and to expand on something Imagine mentioned....in type, so very often things can be misinterpreted because there is no tone other than what we, the readers, add....with that said, the smilies can ,and so very often do, help to add the tone that the post author is trying to convey. I know I personally use them quite often in an attempt to convey joking mischief.....times where without them I would surely come across a snobbish, pompous....well you know

First, my apologies to everyone for the interruption to this thread and about the conversation that has ensued because of my absence . . .

And on that note: I would like to clear the air and settle this once and for all, especially - who knew my leaving the SI Thread for a little while would cause all this “DRAMA.” More importantly, so everyone can get back to Talking about SI, their “Volt”, having more “Stuff,” what they want (particularly – all the “HINTING” so subtlety for more SI “Stuff”), Sharing Information with each other (no matter what it is or even if another supplier has it), and finally having FUN! ! ! !

YES – FUN . . . because it seems to me that this is one of the very few if any of the “suppliers” threads where we can actually participate with each other in a friendly manner and in humorous ways – even if we sometimes disagree with each other and are have differing opinions – too.

What is important, is that “Imagine” has allowed US all a lot of leeway (especially me getting carried away with the “emoticons” – she could have “BANNED” me a long time ago for even more major supplier‘s rule infraction {I think that is what they are called} that other people here have pointed out to me and not so nicely either), and has at times even encouraged US to make comments, not only for and about SI & The Volt, but to have conversations with each other about other “Stuff.” IMHO – “Imagine” has created a more than just a “Suppliers Thread”, but a social group that I have enjoyed being a part of here.

Now, with that being said, I do not want to either take up any more space or time of the SI Thread . . . So if you are at all interested, in what I have to say about the post and my reaction further, I created blog and have written an entry to “clearify” stuff . . . so go there to read it . . . ya..... it kinda sucks, I get 2 USPS deliveries per day. 2 diff trucks. 1 residential and 1 commercial.
I'll have to post a pic of the poor guy that drives the commercial route. Literally boxes hanging out the window and sitting on his lap

It's 5 pm here so there is still a chance....I hope
Or maybe I should drive down the road and see if it fell out of his truck...I might get lucky

The way I've handled this a few times is to just put that person on the Ignore list, which hides their posts. You can see they made one, just not the contents. And you can choose to display the contents individually if needed.
