someone here talk me out of buying a RIVA/boge combo! Almost about to do it!

I bought a Riva 910 several months ago when I was just starting out. Used it for like a week. It all depends on what makes you happy tho. For me it was just too odd looking & feeling to enjoy. KR808s satisfy me in look, feel, and ease of use. I would advise against, but then different strokes and all that.

Had to smile when I saw the slightly tanned caps on the RY4, since that is a familiar sight from the "other place". .....
The 555 is also the same flavor I've grown addicted to.

Ah, the happy sound of a fellow refugee. Just remember, Imagine, you can never EVER run out of joose !!!!

I should mention also that I won't be vaping much on a daily basis. Mainly just when I'm out drinking...when I'm in DIRe need of a cigarette lol.

Well in that case I'd even more strongly recommend against it. I realize some people just need to find out for themselves. But if you want something to be a stand-in for a cigarette, a Riva ain't it. Stick with these (and nobody is paying me to say that -- I just believe it with all my heart).

LOL, you got that right. I'm actually a refugee from 2 other places I know you are familiar with.

Update on my opinion of the 555: It wasn't the carto flavor that was weak, it was my battery strength. It pooped out about 5 mins. later. Popped it on a fresh battery and the flavor is every bit as full and wonderful as it should be. :)

I placed another order already

strongly recommend against buying any ecig?

Sorry if I wasn't clear (reading my previous I can see why you'd think that). What I meant was I don't recommend a Riva. I very much do recommend a kr808 - and the Volt is one of the better ones. The size is your own preference. I prefer 78mm but many like 65mm better.

i believe 4matic has quit cigarettes cold turkey....so that is why he is asking if he should even buy an ecig. I have said to him in my opinion if he can not smoke/vape anything that is for the best

I would say, if you're likely to smoke a cigarette when your out in a social situation than using an e-cig instead would be the better choice, perhaps with zero nic. If you just have a craving in social situations but you can resist, than I would agree with Imagine, maybe better not to use an e-cig at all.

I've wondering about this myself...

Why not a Volt, empty cartos and some 0mg flavored juice.

-- I know drinking and smoking go hand and hand.
When I smoked non-smoking friends were always bumming my smokes.
I want to get to 0mg but I still want/plan to vape.

Ohhhhhhh... I must have missed some previous post(s) then. Sure, using nothing at all is the best choice. But you know yourself better than anyone, and if you know you will fall off the wagon while socializing, then better to fall off onto an ecig than bumming an analog.

I don't ever plan on goin to 0mg:laugh:
me either, spouse is already making plans to give up vaping too, it makes me panic to even think about it so I'm not going to think about it, and I told him so.

and 4matic, if you're quitting cold turkey, I applaud you, really that's just so awesome, you go on!

Hey thanks it's been hard and the real test, like I said, is only when I start drinking :T Soooo hopefully i won't start to get addicted to ecigs if I do end up purchasing one lol. Is there anything I can add to a 0mg for more throat hit?

Mint and cinnamon are some of what I find give good throat hit along with a higher pg content. They do make what's called Qhit that is supposed to add TH, but I am not sure how effective it is. If you like menthol, that is another good thing for th.
