Flat Dark Earth would be a hott color for a battery, It's close to a Mocha color but a little more of a tan tint.

That sounds good to me. I think one of the skins they'll be carrying soon is a leopard print. That would be good to put the chocolate in. Of course, I can't imagine anything tasting bad in a leopard skin pv.

I might just want that leopard print skin, even though I couldn't buy another silver battery on sale. What other colors have the metallic finish, as opposed to the rubber-like finish? might want to get a few more while they are on sale, just for the possible skins they could be covered with.

I just want to point out for the potential skins-buyers that they work on the rubberized finish too, I've got one of the rosewood skins on my old black battery and it's never coming off!

I read somewhere here that they were a bit fatter, and I wondered if they'd fit in my slider charging case, since the batteries are a bit tight, anyway. Has anyone added a skin, and does it fit? If so, I won't be so concerned about which finish the battery has.

LOL.... you sure asked the wrong person that question! The orange, yellow and sky blue have a matte finish, I guess that's the rubberized. My other colors have a slight sheen, but don't really look like metal to me. The silver is the only one I'm sure of as a metalic. I wanted to get a short silver one when they went on sale but the shorties are all gone.

Maybe Imagine will come along and tell us which are considered metallics.

that's a really good question, and I can't answer because I still haven't bought a pcc, I will be curious to hear someone else chime in on this.....

Got a question about the batts. Every so often, after about a few seconds of sucking on my manual battery, it will blink like it's dead and shut off, but it will start right back up. My auto does this sometimes, but I figured maybe it was a cut-off. Is this normal?

How long are you holding the button? Dont press it till you are ready to take a puff. I believe its a safety mechanism-- maybe 5seconds or so.

Lol turns out its the cut-off. Timed it and it's 5-seconds. Sometimes I don't realize how long I'm pulling on the e-cig and it just didn't seem like 5 seconds. :p

The manuals have the 7-second cut-off too...well, almost 7. It's like 6 1/2. I finally reached it.

DM makes them, but he's got a deal in the works with SI to sell them. I guess we'll just have to wait a while longer till they are on the site and we can see what they are offering.
If you wait for DM's to get up on SI's site, they'll be custom cut to fit Volt stuff. No muss, no fuss, no Martha Stewart skills needed.

All of you just stop it, you are making me jealous! I just bought 2 new batteries a couple of days before the sealed autos came out, I was totally unable to explain to my hub why I needed to buy more batteries immediately (I got the "look")- save me some for next week!
Now Samurai, isn't this the same husband that keeps snagging your stuff?
