Well everyone has been busy little
bees.jpg

in this thread. Just zoomed through I think 100 posts looking for pictures.

Will be gone camping all weekend - no phones - no internet. Going to enjoy it! (Maybe not the internet part but you know)

I know. The internet is both a blessing and a curse. Have a great weekend!

I enjoyed both Psycho and the Exorcist. Those were great movies. I'm surprised I didn't remember them when I was making up my list. Beetlejuice is good, too. I've yet to see Sleepy Hollow, Apocalypse Now or Se7en, so I'm going to see if I can rent them on Netflix or Amazon. ;)

Yeah, you'll likely love Sleepy Hallow (and it has an appearance by the King of Creep himself, Christopher Walken!)

...on Apocalypse Now and Se7en... Well, let's just say, you may not want to watch them alone. (especially Se7en! Apocalypse is a dark, dark, dark War/Insanity movie though, and its always possible you may not care for it that much. Its a top all-time movie, but it will bother a couple people every so often)

Does have the absolute best of the best at one of his best though:

And, of course, this ever so amazing speech

I'm here (aren't I always? lol). They better not be on the way here! If they are, I hope no one is coming that is over 6' tall. The only time I clean the top of the fridge is if someone tall is gonna visit.
I'm 6'4",......so you better get to cleanin'! :p

Cheers,
Kelly

Edit: Although, I just read Darkstar's post where he admits to being 6'9".........so maybe you better raise the ceilings too while you're at it!! :p

Did you watch Lake Placid? It had some scary parts, but I found myself laughing more than cringing. Mirrors was an excellent film.

I like Lake Placid mostly because of Betty White. But yeah, it was pretty funny and scary in parts too.

Oh Se7en is intense. VERY scary, but fantastic storyline and unbelievable cast!

My vote would go for the first - ...meow! :hubba:

Although #2 is a really, really close second if you feel it fits in with the look of the others a bit better.

My vote is for the first one too. It really reflects character. BTW - Laura, did you notice my offer to "fix" the collage by getting rid of the watermark after you've completed it? PhotoShop is a marvelous thing. :)

LOL!! Raising the ceilings might be a little tricky. 'Course - we could just let you guys duck down until you reach the living room (cathedral ceiling). Then the only things you'd have to avoid are ceiling fans.

Guess I'd better tackle that fridge top. Why can't they make a robot to handle that? And windows, come to think of it?

ooooo scary movie talk! I love love love to be scared but it's really hard to scare me - I'm too cynical and I don't believe anything so I don't generally enjoy movies because I never buy in - but like rave I loves me some Tremors - that movie is hilarious I watch every chance I get......and for scare-the-*h*t-outta-you scary I haven't found one better than the Ring so far - kept me up all night, and the original Japanese version is way way worse. Paranormal Activity was pretty damn scary too, we almost pulled the kid out of bed last night and went to see the third one at the midnight showing last night but then recovered our senses.
I love all zombie movies, unconditionally. I like them campy and funny and over the top scary. I used to be a zombie purist so when they started making zombies that ran around like running backs i was annoyed but now I love them too.

OH YES! I forgot about The Ring! What a brilliant movie that was! And Paranormal Activity (the first one) had me looking behind me when I climbed stairs too. Dave and I are probably going to watch the second one tonight or tomorrow night.

I've read and seen so many horror stories that it's hard to be scared anymore. They still entertain me, so that's why I keep watching/reading.

Have fun Laura, I can't believe people are still camping - season is definitely over for that here - brrrr!
What? I like to camp all year long. Although, my lamp oil turned to gelatin one time - lol. It's easier to camp without chiggers and ticks and mosquitos.

The older ya get, the harder you are to scare. I've survived some crazy things in my lifetime including being clawed by a bear, treed by a moose, canoeing with alligators (and one of the canoes was rammed and sunk), a tornado in a tent, and being robbed at gunpoint. Movie willies just aren't that hard to handle anymore.

But - big spiders can make me scream like a little girl and dance exotic dances.
