Hehe with 4 nephews we are somehow never short of candy in this house... But when it comes to my favorite rum n raisen chocolate.... I gotta hide that one. Rave I couldn't see Tom's picture, but turkey meat is just bland to me so I'll pass. Hey Thefox, good to see you back here. Glad you liked Melbourne!!! I worked in south yarra for 3 yrs... It's a mini equilavelent of the city, where no one sleeps.
Nom nom... Now I have chocolate on my mind....

Rum n raisin chocolate? That sounds wonderful....

However, You can still see how cute of a princess she (is) made for the night, especially handing over all the candy . . . :D

To Bad her "Unc" didn't get dressed as her Prince ;) might of had more FUN ! ! ! :)

Hahaha, yeah she is. And although she was totally freaked out by a couple of the trick or treaters scarey costumes, she kept handing them out candy just the same!

I did however "dress up", if you can call it that, hahaha. Just, I was anything but a "prince"... torn/dirty jeans, dirty jacket, designer shoes, extremely high-priced college hat, Che t-shirt with an "eat the rich" sign in one hand and my high priced Phone in the other. Oh, and had a silver spoon in my mouth to really complete the costume - I was an occupier! :D

Turns out, having a 2 year old in the house means no one even thinks about taking pictures of anyone else though. Oh well, she was the important one anyway... (besides, some of us were unable to dress up anyway - as can be seen in the pics)

I even had some polite teenagers!!

In California? No way...

No, really though, we did too - which shocked us at first. Some didnt dress up or wear full outfits (which, might have been more of a economy vs straight laziness issue, not sure) but everyone was surprisingly polite and talkative this year compared to years past. Was refreshing to see.

In the area we were at, we also get kids "bussed in" by family from the not-so-hot areas around us, and found they seemed to be the ones most interested in the decorations we placed and being appreciative for the candy. Added quite a bit to the night really.

GH live disappointed me, but then again I work at Pennhurst Asylum for their haunt. Some crazy stuff goes down there. If you're sensitive to it, you'll feel it as soon as you set foot on the property. Unspeakable tragedies happened there, and some of the biggest hot-spots we have are uninhabitable. Too bad too cause that would have made for a heck of a show.

There is one haunted prison out in PA that I'd like to visit but we never got around to going when we were out there. I felt nothing when I took my family to Alcatraz this summer. Perhaps if we had gone at night it would have been a different story. I love reading about haunted places, especially their histories.

When I'm at a real computer i will try to get the Halloween pics up.

Deb, are you talking about eastern state penitentiary? I've been there for the haunt, but never just to tour it.my husbands more into all that. I freak out easily, lol. Maybe I'm just overly perceptive, who knows. I know that just going to work gives me the heebs....

Also, if anyone cares to get more info about pennhurst historically (GH was inaccurate. Pennhurst asylum is the name of our haunt, the actual name was Pennhurst state school for the epileptic and feeble-minded.

Looks very yummy, indeed - I'll check out the juice, thank you!

There's nothing quite like SI RY4- everything else is a treat or just for a day or two, then I go back. Oughta sell that stuff in 55 gallon drums. :D

Sorry to hear about the engine light - hope it's driveable while you wait. Sometimes those lights are "this light hasn't been on in awhile, so it's coming on now". Frustrating.

I had one of those sleepless nights recently - Sunday, of course, when I had to get up Monday morning and appear to know what I was doing and why, on account of I get paid to do that. LOL Hope you get some restful sleep.

Mikkie: Yes, that's it. :) I'd love to take a tour of the place one day. There's another place I'd like to visit called Waverly Hills Sanatorium. That's supposed to be one of the most haunted places in the US. Here's some information about it from Wikipedia.

The Waverly Hills Sanatorium (or Sanitarium) is a closed sanatorium located in southwestern Louisville/Jefferson County, Kentucky. It opened in 1910 as a two-story hospital to accommodate 40 to 50 tuberculosis patients. In the early 1900s, Jefferson County was ravaged by an outbreak of tuberculosis (the "White Plague") which prompted the construction of a new hospital. The hospital closed in 1962, due to the antibiotic drug streptomycin that lowered the need for such a hospital.

Waverly Hills has been popularized on paranormal television as being one of the "most haunted" hospitals in the eastern United States. The sanatorium was featured on ABC/FOX Family Channel's Scariest Places On Earth, VH1's Celebrity Paranormal Project, Syfy's Ghost Hunters, Zone Reality's Creepy, the British show Most Haunted, Paranormal Challenge, and Ghost Adventures on Travel Channel.[2]

Plans have been developed to convert the sanatorium into a four star hotel which will cater to the haunted hotel crowd as well regular hotel patrons.

I surprised myself the other night when I went to refill my carto with vanilla and saw that the bottle was only a third of the way full. For some reason, I've been vaping the vanilla almost exclusively for the past couple of weeks and show no signs of getting tired of it. Has this happened to any of you?

With cappuccino. I only vape that "in between" RY4, but it goes faster?????? lol

A ghost appeared in one of my shots this morning. Better late than never I reckon. See him against the dark tree bark on the right?

DSC04083.jpg

He had a note .. Seems he got caught up with some witches and goblins late Monday night had a few too many toadstools and rat tails,( at least that's what hes telling his wife) so he was late for photo op today ... It really look legit ...:D
