So it turns out that the Ventura County courthouse is progressive in their thinking. I went to the Info/Security manager and asked what their policy was on using e-cigs on the premises (excluding the courtroom itself of course) and he said there's no problem. Anywhere is fine, even inside the jury waiting room. Yay! So while sitting inside there I stealthed a few times, because I didn't want to disturb/upset the other people sitting so close. But while wandering the halls, etc. I openly vaped. That was so cool! LOL Brought along a handful of cards too, but nobody asked. Oh well.
I also got called for a case... awful... child molestation. Part of me doesn't want to get picked because I don't want to hear the horrible details, poor little girls (yes, plural). I just don't know that I can be impartial. They'll read my answer on the questionnaire then decide if they want me or not. Doubtful though because I did not hide my opinion about such things. That will be Monday. sigh.
