Hi Guys - first of all, I love, love, love the Volt. I quit analogs completely, and I never thought that would be possible. I do,though, have a couple of questions and I hope this is the best place to ask.
First of all, I've been trying to order white batteries with orange LEDs (either 65 or 78mm) and I never find it available on the site. Have they been discontinued? Out of stock? When will new ones be available?
The other question is about the USB passthroughs. I've ordered two. The first one was automatic and it failed on me within one week. Instead of going through the return process (which is probably cumbersome as it entails me shipping the merchandise back to the vendor and then waiting for a new one). And so, instead of returning, I ordered a new one. But this time it shipped as manual, not automatic. I'm not sure if this was my mistake, but I didn't notice an option to select either manual or automatic. Anyway, I'm ready to try again and order an automatic passthrough, but, I don't see anywhere on the description whether it's auto or manual. Can someone tell me how I can ensure I receive the automatic passthrough before I order again? Thanks ahead! vape on!

I totally agree with what everyone else said about SI's customer service. They WILL make things right, no hassles at all.

On the automatic USB passthrough I will tell you this from my own experience. If you get ANY liquid in it at all, eliquid, condensation, spit, spill a drink on it, etc, it fries and dies right then and there, no way to ever make it work again. It's really different than with the unsealed auto-batteries because with those you can spin or blot, or tap out the liquid and the battery comes back to life, I've not so far had this happen on their new auto-batteries. But yeah, I fried my Volt passthrough a week or so ago, I'd had it for several months, and when I took it apart, it had liquid inside it that had shorted it out, the electronic components had literally burned & melted into charred bits.

Thanks for the info, SteelJan. I am ordering the dongle, 5 empty carts, and a 2 batteries (1 auto, 1 manual) from Volt today. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I will give an honest trial, it would be great to have a no futz PV to carry around. As they say "here come da judge" lol.

Oh and just to show my somewhat schizo approach to vaping I also am ordering a Bulli A2 atomizer

Cool, hope you like it, sure you will.

On the Bulli A2 atomizer, if you are going to use it with the Volt batteries, you will need an 808 to 510 adaptor, or most of the 901 to 510 adaptors will also work because the Volt battery has 808 screw threads and the Bulli A2 has 510 screw threads. I'd love to know how you like that Bulli A2 atomizer once you've tried it. My experience with the Scubagen is that repairable atomizers are a pain in the behind, lol.

HI JP_Guinness! welcome :)

As far as the whites.. we are just out of stock :(

We have increased our wholesales tremendously (which is great news as the VOLT is being made available more and more locally to people :) ) and that put a big strain on the white inventory. We are expecting more this week.... and we have a lot more batteries on order for Dec and Jan... so we should not run into this issue again...

The passthough...

Well originally we only had autos... and then we added manuals... I think I have been told we are going to only have manuals in the future.

nail on head :p

Exactly why we think we are going to move to strictly manual passthroughs....

She is fine but has ALOT going on in life right now. She checks her PM's but that's about it for the time being.
Maybe we can all send her a pm to say, ( hey we miss u n thinking) of you or something quirky and cheer her up a bit. The voltie way :) :) yeah lets do it!! * runs off to find some super special smiley's*

I'm kinda wondering if they're gonna have a sale around Christmas. Got two new potential Voltarians wanting kits. I'm having shtuff shipped to my niece in Ga. now out of my account but she's going to have to start buying her own shtuff soon. Got another here I've loaned one of my batts and a charger to and furnishing her cartos and juice. She can't afford to experiment so I fixed her up with a kinda sampler so she can pick one juice. Time for her to get on her own too.
