Anyone else go a little bit overboard when ordering juices and cartos in the beginning? I think I have! Let's see...several packs of cartos and three bottles of juice from Smokeless Image. Just had to buy more blank cartos because I ordered 40 mL, total, of ejuice from another vendor! Sorry, SI, I really wanted to try some cola flavors! My husband just told me I need to slow down. I was just a social smoker, but now I am addicted to vaping! Oh yes, had to order an extra battery and diamond end cap for backup. I use one battery for daytime and another for night. I don't sleep much, just take naps. I'm surprised I don't get headaches, and such, from the nic, but I only vape the 6 mg. I won't talk about the farts, though! :p

hey peeps. watchin sunday night football here tonight and feeling pretty good thanks to some segrams and coke. wishin i had a volt. i was waiting for xmas to see if i dont half to spend some of my own money. u know money for xmas and all. but im just hoping this can give me the throat hit im looking for while drinking. im sure most of u know that drinks that when u drinking u usually want some serious nicotine to go with it along with a throat hit. will this do the trick?

I like classic grape with pom pom martini's, caramel with chocolate martini's, and maple walnut with coffee (had to throw that last but just so everyone knows I'm not a complete lush.

I have made this suggestion to several vendors so I will make it here also. Perhaps it would be a good idea for all of us to supply SI with a copy of our drivers license or other government form of ID to show we are over 18 years old. SI has the over 18 check on their website but this would be an additional safeguard for them. Just a suggestion.

Would that be giving away private info, like people are afraid to give SI their SS number? Might it make customers hesitate to buy from SI if they are the only vendor requiring it? And why couldn't someone just use a friend's driver's license? It's not like SI can see your actual face and compare it with the photo.

Don't be sorry at all! I thought it was a good suggestion and that's what we need at this point...people thinking about a viable solution. Really, I'm less concerned having my drivers license number out there than my credit cards but we all put those out there plenty ;) Thanks Imagine
I don't know what the best way to verify age would be but it will become an issue eventually. Especially if the FDA/White House have anything to say about it.

My :2c:

How do Internet alcohol sales handle it? I ordered some wine online a while ago, but I forget now. I think I just stated that I was old enough, maybe typed in my birthday. I think if you can order alcohol with a certain kind of verification, they could never make rules for e-cigs more stringent. ... Ten again, maybe they could, but I can't see how they would justify it.

Just thought I'd give y'all a little holiday spirit. You've gotta hear this to believe it!

incredible performance! It reminds me of the glass harmonica (the H is silent, so it's pronounced "armonica"), which I first saw at the Corning Glass Museum -- or was it the Franklin Institute? It's the same idea, but the glasses are on their sides, basically. See Glass Harmonica - YouTube

I've got a bunch I'm going to have to to trade in the classifieds or PIF (Mr. T, FSUSA, some halo and a few others...about 30 or so I think).

I have a bunch that I love though, so tend to have 8 to 12 batts/cartos set up w/drip tips and different flavors to get me through the day. I keep about 24 batts on hand now for re-charging. Too lazy to keep switching out the cartos I guess LOL!

Tried to review on smokelessimage.com but it isn't showing up. Do they get reviewed first by mods or take a few hours to appear? Wanted to rave about my strong sampler carto pack I got today! Love all the flavors, though mint and menthol burst taste nearly the same, very subtle. Ice menthol is much more like a traditional menthol. Cappuccino was delicious! Definately ordering more of those to have with my morning coffee. Classic Grape was like candy but not so sweet, very yummy.

If I had more money I'd definately be going overboard!! I want to order more cappuccino, Ry4, and try vanilla ASAP. Anyone like the vanilla that has tried it? Enjoying my iced menthol right now was I'm relaxing in bed.

My Dad's been bugging me about this so I figured I'd come here and ask the experts. Is it possible for someone to vape too much? I mean, will vaping too much actually give you more nicotine than cigarettes? I ask because my Grandma is vaping five 24mg cartos a day. And she's not just vaping half a carto and changing it out. These things are dry as a bone when I refill them. When she reads, she puts her volt to her lips and leaves it there (vaping with every breath) til she's done reading. It's freaky weird. So my Dad is worried that she's getting too much nicotine. I'm the one who orders her juice so if I can, I order a lower dose and just mark it 24mg before I give it to her. But I wasn't able to do that last time (and she ordered a 3 month supply). Can anyone help us out with this?

And by the way, please don't take this as a complaint. I'm so grateful for Volt because it's the only thing that's ever made her quit smoking (and it's helping me too!).

If she's happy and not smoking analogs, she's probably just fine. Sometimes I want to perma-vape, and sometimes not. A lot of the desire depends on old old habits. If she used to read and smoke, then it's likely that she will continue to do the same. There are a lot of psychological components that go along with the physical addiction. If she wants a higher level of juice, let her have it. Her body will tell her what she needs to feel happy and good. Some people set thier goal as ultimately 0 mg, some of us have the goal of 0 analogs, some people are more interested in being able to vape for convienence, with no serious desire to quit analogs. I've tried to vape myself sick a couple of times, and it didn't work, lol. I have managed to make myself rather tachycardic (fast heart beat) but I seriously tried and when I quit perma-vaping, it went away pretty quickly. On the other hand, filling a cart, smelling the yummy juice, and licking it off my finger... now, that will make myself feel quite nauseous. Further note to self, don't stick finger in eye after filling cart. Not so much an overdose, more like a painful mistake. ;)

Hey Imagine- had a question about the affiliate program and how to get credit for a vape party sale that was placed thru my computer. (I find they work like Tupperware parties :) ) Obviously it wouldn't credit to my affiliate account automatically but if I give her info maybe they could do it manually? I emailed rob twice but got no response. :/

Internet alcohol sales: they may trust you when ordering or they may verify age through credit card - say you give 18 year old daughter a card, she's tried to order, cc checked age against number on file.

I have worked for FedEx Home for the past 5 Christmases and FedEx has several wine and beer shippers - not sure you can order hard liquor online - and there are very specific procedures: box can NOT be left on door step. Someone has to be home to sign and that person MUST be 21. When the package is scanned a message pops up on scanner reminding you that the box contains alcohol (as if the bold printing on the boxes or the labels weren't enough) and tells you to check ID & even tells you what the latest birthday you an accept. It also reminds you not to deliver to obviously intoxicated persons. I'm sure UPS and USPS have something similar.
BUT relying on USPS? That's a joke in and of itself. I have a package from Amazon that arrived Sat AM at Post Office in town in time for carrier to get. It won't be deliverd until tomorrow.

My Grandma is 75, blind in one eye, deaf in one ear and she has a pace-maker so she has most of these symptoms anyways
But she hasn't complained about anything out of the ordinary so I'll tell my Dad to stop worrying about it. Thanks Imagine!

If your mom is getting too much nicotine her body will tell her. You can overdose on nicotine.... however as a smoker we build up a tolerance so we can handle more. If you mom has any of these symptoms she should cut back her mg.

Nausea
Vomiting
........
Stomach pains
Cold sweats
Headache
Dizziness
Hearing or vision problems
Confusion
Chest pain
Uneven or racing heartbeat
Seizures

It could be too that she's not inhaling that deeply. Sometimes the action, the flavor in your mouth and the vapor to exhale is enough. I'm kinda like that. I was kinda like that when I smoked too. ...but not to kill mom's buzz, what has her doctor had to say about her nic ingestion, being a heart patient and all?

So, Imagine.

Tell me about the XL cartos.
Are they "just thinking" about them or is it "for real and for true" (too much tohope for?)

Will they be unwrapped?

I'm asking because I ordered a bunch of tanks for my favorite flavors and if I don't have to cut them shorter for 808 cartos that would be so awesome!
And because if they're unwrapped, I can use them!

Thanks ~ Princess
Maybe sell them unwrapped with skins (black or custom, with or separately), Imagine? That might be a fun way to go...with regular-sized blanks too. Carto skins are fun - it's fun dressing these things up! Then we wouldn't have to peel them first! :)

Her doctor is ecstatic that she was able to quit smoking. He's been on her for 20 years to quit so he thinks switching to vaping is a good compromise.

I'm not so sure about the inhaling thing. I don't know how she does it but she inhales while she still has the Volt in her mouth. I tried doing it like that once and I ended up coughing for 2 hours. She uses it like it's a breathing machine or something. Puts in in her mouth, inhales, exhales through her nose, inhales again, etc.

My Dr blessed my vaping as well and I've got C.O.P.D. as well as a few other issues from treatments, being a cancer survivor. I puff exactly like she does, unconciously, while on the computer at 24mg. It's almost as natural as breathing to me. When I 'm doing that I'm not necessarily inhaling deeply. More of a shallow thing and blowing most of it out through my nostrils is half of the flavor. People talk about a throat hit...I'll take a nose hit anyday lol. I've got soft drip tips and use a 65mm auto making it quite comfortable while I'm typing without missing a puff. Maybe one day some of us old folks will share that secret with you since we've got it mastered and you don't know how to do it without coughing for two hours. I've never experienced any symptoms of nic od doing this while emptying a freshly charged battery and consider it an inconvenience when the light starts blinking. Another charged battery and full carto, a long sip of tea and I'm back in my own little world reading and typing. I used to do almost the same thing chain smoking and would sometimes go through a pack of cigarettes while reading and typing, smoke burning my eyes coughing my head off and often experiencing some of the symptoms mentioned, especially the headaches, dizzyness and vision issues. Never conected it to my chain smoking. At my age, not quite as old as her but getting there, there are some things I enjoy and just refuse to deny myself that probably aren't the best thing for me but make life bearable and pose no great danger. If someone starts taking them away one by one I would probably get to the point of not caring whether I get to stay here a little longer or not. Quality of life is much more important than longevity at this point.
Now my $.02. Her mind is alert and active enough to still enjoy reading. That means she's probably competent enough to know when something is causing her problems. Just let her know what the od symptoms are and let her tell you if she experiences any increase in those symptoms. Then if she does just get her some low nic juice to use while she's chain vaping and 24mg for the rest of the time. And always, identify problems but work in solutions.

Oops, time for my Geritol and a fresh battery.:D
