Thanks for the quick replies.
Wash method
1. fill bowl with hot water
2. Dump used cartos in bowl (after you have removed mouth piece and silicone ring)
3. Let sit for ten minutes then dump out water
4. Refill bowl ,Put carto in a empty turkey baster tube, suck up hot water and push bulb forcing water through the carto and out into sink'
5. Repeat two or three times and voila the batting in carto should be whte, and clean as a bathed baby's bum.
6. Let it dry for a day and you shlould be good to go.
7. I got baster at a dollar ...nothing fancy but it does the job .

My method is similar to cleaning them i use a $1 baby ear cleaner (bulb syringe) run hot tap water to fill the bulb up and squirt through the carto a few times until it is clear. Then i do a few Dry pumps to force air though to get any excess water out. Then lay them behind my computer where my Psu fan blow's warm air out and they dry in few hours.Around 4 hours i can use them but usually let them sit overnight.I have had great success from this method and can really prolong the life of the carto

Also just to note i have had some die after cleaning but that is to be expected as they are disposable units so always have some extras on hand just in case.To me i have not experienced any loss of flavor or performance that is greatly noticeable.

Here's a technique, not sure if you've heard but rice absorbs moisture. I boiled a bunch of carto's and put them in a bowl with dried white rice. 2 days later their dry as a bone.
My wife suggested it. :)

Rice works great for cell phones, We have a lot of mishaps here in FL-
Never thought about it for cartos. I haven't cleaned any, well one when I first started and it taste like vaping through a roll of wet paper towels, maybe i'll try again some day. Thanks for the tips.

My hopefully last battery order for a while came in, two yellow shorties and a purple 78. Another fast delivery win - it's nice to live close by!

Didn't think I'd be a fan of the 65's, but being a touch lighter weight they are easier to let hang when needed. And looking nice and DeWalt-y with the black cartos they will fit right in when working in the shop. Now if only I could bring myself to pay for some actual DeWalt gear. ... :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

I just got my Volt Pro Starter Kit. I also ordered an attachment so I can recharge from a wall outlet. But along with the case and a cord w/ a USB connection, which I attached to the wall charger, there was a little USB charger that you could screw a battery into. So, since I have 2 batteries, I decided to put one in the case to charge with it, and charge the other with the little charger right into a USB port on my computer. How do I know this 2nd one is charging? When I plugged it in, I thought maybe the light in the battery should come on to indicate it's charging, but there's no sign. Is it working? I guess I'll give it a few hours in the computer and then try it and see, but I thought maybe someone would reassure me that it's OK not lighting up, sooner than just trying it and seeing if it works.

BTW, the service was extra fast. I just ordered this days ago and was sure it wouldn't arrive before the holiday. I love the packaging, and it's a really nice touch to have printed instructions right at my fingertips. So often these days, stuff doesn't come with instructions, and you have to download them from your computer. I don't like that, and other of my friends have complained about it, too, specifically one who ordered an expensive digital camera, and it came with no printed instructions! Thanks for that nice touch.

The light goes out when the battery is fully charged. It means that the battery came fully charged. It's ready to go. :)

I just got my red and yellow (ketchup and mustard mmmm! :p) 65mm yesterday. Once again, awesome delivery SI (2 days)! The red is very stylish with the black carto and the white LED, but the yellow is going to take a little getting use to for my taste. Don't get me wrong, it is just as awesome as any other battery I have, but the yellow color REALLY stands out and I am not sure how I feel about that quite yet. My girlfriend walked up to me yesterday and said, "Awww...you have a Bumblebee cigarette!" LOL!

It will probably just take a little getting use to. On the plus side, I did want something that wouldn't get confused with an actual cigarette! ;)
