Happy Saturday everybody! I am afraid I owe you an apology for getting all worked up yesterday over the KR808 thread. It just bothered me. I like peace and harmony, so I will try to keep my opinions, as strong as they are, to myself. Wish me luck! :)
Can you put up the link? Im a bit of a renegade for the volts now too. Especially when I see new people always having EGO's and mods shoved down their throats when they specifically ask for cig sized models!

Also how do you get to be a verified member and supporting member?

I don't think you said anything that was to bad, or at least nothing that wasn't true. I got a little peeved at the same comment you did.

Here is a post about VV mods. Most of the responders seem to love them. What do you all think?

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-mods-discussion/262177-vv-mod-worth.html

There's nothing wrong with mods if you like to tinker with things and are willing to take the time to learn about things like safety, ohms, watts, volts, polarity, plus electronics. They are a lot more complicated and involve more than just charging a battery and screwing on a carto. Modders can be credited with a lot of the advancements in the industry BUT, they are definitly NOT entry level vaping by any means and there are a LOT of expenses and RISKS involved. For the average vaper it would be like trying to learn how to drive on a NASCAR track with a race car. Very few people that learn how to drive ever arive at that level and live happy lives watching it while driving their passenger car to and from the track. I cringe every time I see some one in the new members forum suggesting mods or any kind of vv that requires changing an outside battery in a device to a newcommer without knowing anything about their skill level. They are dangerous if not handled properly and can result in incidents like the one in the thread below. The funny thing is that if you match 5 volts or higher to a high resistance carto you wind up with almost the same results as if you stick to 3.6/3.7 volts with matching resistance cartos like the Volt and many other devices provide. If the device or battery is regulated the vape is going to stay the same from start of the charge to finish. The vv can be used to regulate a device and increase or decrease the voltage to use different cartos, juices etc. and maintain the voltage throughout the charge. Some of the Ego batteries are lower voltage, around 3.2/3.4 volts and people use the 2.0 ohm Boge cartos to obtain basically the same results as a 3.7 volt with a 2.6 ohm cartos. I went through a lot of this when I first started vaping by way of not knowing any better. I still use some of my stuff for various reasons but pretty much stick to my Volt as the most simple, safest and satisfying one I own.

This stuff scares the crap out of me. What about you?

I am hoping everyone will "Like" this post. We need to take safety seriously. With the FDA and everything else, the last thing we need are injuries. :)

Happy Saturday everybody! I am afraid I owe you an apology for getting all worked up yesterday over the KR808 thread. It just bothered me. I like peace and harmony, so I will try to keep my opinions, as strong as they are, to myself. Wish me luck! :)

DISCLAIMER: The Following Is "MY OPINION" - I do not speak for anyone else here in this thread, but "Me" - Be it strong or subtle (which no one would ever accuse me of being is subtle ;) )

HEY There - We all Like Peace & Harmony, however there is nothing wrong with YOUR OPINION - Nor Voicing it anywhere you want to . . . How else are We going to get to Know You Better . . .

AND - In My Opinion, When you voice Your Opinion - You are being Who You Are and One of US a "Voltie" . . . . Which is just one of the very special things about this thread and the people here . . . Sometimes we are quite and sometimes we are VERY LOUD (or even add a lot of "Fluff" to our post ;) ) . . . WE ARE ALL Different and Have Differing Opinions that just seem to mess . . . More importantly, I Believe - WE ALL Agree that at times WE Disagree with Each Other too . . . That is how we learn from each other, what's happening, and about NEW "Stuff" . . .

SO - if you don't mind me being so bold to suggest to you - NEVER SHUT UP

Matter of fact, I really like reading a lot of what YOU New Volties have to say . . . It is really nice all the new Volties and to see some other people jump on in, especially to help each other out . . . Which again, in my opinion, is what our little community is all about - and just one of the reason's, although it would be nice the Smokeless Image gets their own sub-forum, I quietly hope that this Thread would stay as is . . . :D

OKAY - My Opinion is Finished (For Now ;) ) - Back to lurking and watching everyone enjoy themselves . . . :D

OH
Okay, so I have another silly question.... I have been seeing "flavorless" juice from some of the vendors.. what is the purpose? I mean is there a special reason why you get this? Just to vape with no taste? I guess curiosity killed the cat, but I wanna know.

The reason for this is some people like to add their own flavors and others have problems or allergies to flavoring.

So did he end up with the e-pipe like he wanted? Glad he's liking it.
Crazy about the savings, ain't it? It took me about 5-6 months to break even and get my gear together, but now I'm good with about $35/month in e-liquid.

Yep, the thing is working like a champ he likes it! He has cut his analog habit in half. Thanks for asking :2cool:

oops it sux to a newb on forums... I pretty much got told to mind my own business... lol

I have determined, wise dog that I am, that nothing gets accomplished if you mind your own business. I know we will get our own space. I think Imagine would have to request it though. I saw all the vendors with forum space. Thanks for speaking up for us! :)

I got to be honest...I am getting so hot damn antsy in my pantsy anticipating ordering my pro starter kit. So excited to see the slider PCCs back in stock. I'm a lame-o though and am waiting for the other batteries to come back in to stock also. Will there be silver autos?

Because those pictures on the site?...

mmm....

Someone recently suggested I research Whole Tobacco Alkaloid, and I'm in the process of doing that now. For those of you who just can't give up analogs, this is very interesting reading: Why e-cigs don't work for everyone... | Facebook

Thanks for the link! Finally - An excellent explanation for why it was so easy for me to switch and so very difficult for others. There are so many of you out there who are still searching for the nicquid that will give you the same satisfaction as analogs. It appears that currently available nicquids simply don't have what you are looking for. Hopefully, in the future, there may be an available additive instead of needing to resort to snus or snuff for what your body still seeks.
