After much research, consideration, and advice from other ECF members, I decided to purchase the Smokeless Image Volt as my first (real) E cig. I have been a happy vaper ever since!!The Volt has performed very well for me. I love the cartos and the juice flavors are very good, too. I was so happy with my purchase that I convinced my daughter, who is a smoker, to order one for herself. She is expecting to receive her Volt today!! I'm excited about the idea of my daughter, who is only 22 years old, quitting smoking while she is still very young. The service from Smokeless Image has been amazing. Super-fast shipping, competitive pricing, and outstanding product quality.I know I sound like a commercial...but it's really how I feel.I imagine that eventually I will want to try some mods and things like that...but I will always use a Volt as my main cigarette and also for my public vaping. I want to thank Steel Jan for her review of the Volt, which was what finally convinced me to get one. So...thanks Jan!

Welcome Poppie & I'm so glad that you're enjoying your Volt! BTW - Don't bother with the mods. I wasted a LOT of money trying them out - for years. Now that I've found Volt, I'll never go back there.

Gotcha! I still LOVE mine. But - I really didn't want everyone to know that I'm at least 50 million years old. Achieving Fossilhood status is s'posed to be a secret.

I too have wanted to try "other" mods; however, 6 months after my first Volt experience... I keep telling myself, "Why spend more money fixing something that ain't broke in the first place." My Volt is flippin awesome. I love it. Yes... I may break one day when my current bats finally die, but I then I think... I might just buy more Volt batteries. Haha

Hmm I am sorry there is an issue...

I know you said you have been careful with it but I haven't really seen these kind of issues unless there hase been some rough wear and tear...like sitting on it or stepping on it...

You can email customer service and they will take care of you. If it is defective they will replace it.

so im having a couple issues with my slider PCC... kind of sucks that i just now noticed this, i just got my battery replaced which was pretty much DOA (stopped working first day/less than an hour). heres some pics so you can see what im talking about
first two pics - the top sliding part does not sit flush with the rest of the body. something is pushing it off to the side because if i try to adjust it, it just springs back to the side.

this pic is how the finish is starting to come off. i wanted to know if this was happening to anyone else. it is not that big of a deal, but i do like the matte finish...

this is what worries me. the top and bottom half are separating form the center and i can't press them back together... if anyone else has had this happen im hoping that there was some way to fix this. i would really rather try to fix this my self, i dont really want to wait and have to pay for return shipping again...but i also dont want to rip it apart to find out its not something that i shouldnt fix either or if i should just send it back and wait again

EDIT: i just noticed it is bending right where the battery is... could my battery have gotten too hot to where it flexed the plastic?

ive had this kit for less than 2 weeks and dont get me wrong i love the performance and have been analog free ever since. its pretty cold, for cali anyway so ive always had to wear a jacket and keep the pcc in the jacket pockets so it doesnt get smashed or anything like that

you have to wait for the display to turn from blue to red and for the infinity symbol to change to toggling bars before you release the button...

i too have a question about a pcc...the mega pcc v2. It doesnt want to charge my batteries. I can charge them fine on the usb charger I got with my kit, but the pcc will tell me that a dead battery is fully charged. While the battery is charging it is ssupposed to stay lit, and when it is done charging it is supposed to blink and then shut off correct? My battery while "charging" in the pcc will stay lit for a matter of seconds (I do set the pcc to charge the ecig battery btw) then will blink and everything shuts off. Is anyone else having issues with this case?

I would wait for the USB so we can trouble shoot to see if it is a battery issue first

This is exactly what was happening to me last night with all three of my batterys, I fiddled a bit with pcc...gently squeezing the side where you plug it in and one the older batteries light finally stayed on and I was able to get both older ones charged...YIPPIE! But the new 78mm same issue. Not sure if I should wait for ub charger and try that or return it. But I'm happy I got the other 2 charged.

ecig/eliquid companies that accept paypal are doing it against paypal's TOS (terms of service) Paypal does not allow transactions for ecigs and can seize that vendors paypal account at anytime...just an FYI (they will usually ask you mark the payment as something other then what you are buying)

Does anyone know of a company that accepts paypal? I need a 30mil refill bottle of juice, Preferably a good company with good quality juice that ships fast.

Thanks for any help, please PM me the info trying to find replies to this thread is a chore sometimes lol.

sorry we actually do not accept paypal.... again paypal does not allow transactions for ecigs/eliquid per their terms of service....they made that ruling back in 2009... I think they do not want the liability of the product (many credit card processors as well claim the industry is a high risk industry...) Paypal can seize the vendors account and thier money in the account at any time... we have seen this happen to other vendors...

If paypal were to allow us we would surely accept that method.

Just a little bit frustrated.
I have a "social phobia" thing and it took an hour to get up the courage to call the website and customer service is too busy to take my call, wants me to leave a message so they can call me back (I just can't handle that. Call at unexpected time) and the un-wrapped blank cartos are STILL not on the website (WTH, how long can it possibly take to add an option for unwrapped to the blank carto? 10 or less keystrokes, honestly.) so I can't order that way and now I'm upset and crying. The coupon expires tonight, doesn't it? and I still can't order my cartos. I only need 20 boxes to get me thru for a little while, but they HAVE to be un-wrapped, for tanks.

Sorry, just venting a bit.

Our system does not store your credit card info... so noone here would even be able to look up your CC number...not the owners, not the customer service people not even me ... Do any of the other 2 companies keep your info stored in the site?

My cc number has recently been stolen online. I only use my cc online to buy vape supplies from 3 companies. I don't know how the thief got my number, I'm just issuing a heads up in the threads of the companies I use my cc with, SI being one of them.

I just got too frustrated and gave up.
The customer service person who answered my email (who was great with me, BTW) said they have them in stock but he had to get an OK from his supervisor to sell them. (?) And by that time, I was just a blabbering puddle of messy goo.

Next time I need to order maybe they'll be up on the website by then.
