OKay so with our own new world I don't know where to post this... so I will just put it here. LOL

Dr Appt was eventful, to say the least. Severe Kidney infection, which he found odd that I wasn't hurting. Dehydrated as well. I told him other than being thirsty and not being able to pee, I didn't hurt anywhere or feel bad. But he said it was just a matter of time and it would hit me suddenly. He gave me antibiotics, pain pills (just in case) and told me to drink lots of gatorade and water over the weekend. No caffeine or sodas. I don't drink coffee, but I do love some southern sweet ice tea.( They took blood and of course not fasting but said blood sugar was good. They are going to do a complete panel Monday morning after fasting. I still don't feel bad, but I am drinking my gatorade and it must be working...... not quite as thirsty. But I also haven't vaped since about noon. Gonna try to do as little as I can over the weekend. Funny how my goals for the weekend are vape a little and pee alot.)

Thanks everyone for your concern. It really does mean a lot.

I've had a few of those but I always got a lot of back pain. I'm glad you don't and I'm especially glad you went to the Dr. I had a suspicion of that when you posted but I'm not a Doctor, nor do I play one on tv. But I did sleep at a Holiday Express once. Get well soon! Volties hate to see other Volties not feeling well.

Oh - I understand how it is done . . .

Honestly, I asked that it be opened again for the weekend so people who wanted to reply to a couple of the post in this thread had a chance to do so - like myself - before the thread was permantly closed to additional posting . . . :)

Thankfully - "Imagine" was kind enough to do so . . . :D

AND given that - the following are reply post - to which people may or may not want to respond . . . ;)

Thanks, Uncle! You're a trip!

Hopefully - You enjoyed the sites and had fun on the ride . . . ;)

Thankfully, I've been through this before. . . . Did we have some fights. He went back to smoking the second he could get away with it and still have his incisions heal.

Sorry - to hear that ;) . . . But I would probably be right there along side him

I saw it coming this time, so I'll try very hard to keep my inner demon in check. He's doing something very hard and he's put up with my PMS for 28 years, so I'll give him this. LOL I will tell you, I've already had to super CHECK myself, to hold back from saying something approximating "JESUS, smoke a cigarette, already!" I really, really, really (did I say REALLY?) want him to quit, so I have GOT to keep myself civil, supportive and loving. Civil, supportive and loving. Civil, supportive and loving.... Give me strength. :D

Very NICE of YOU to do :) . . . Hey - Fair is Fair - Right ;)

BTW: However, I do feel for "Rob" . . . I think I know what it is like to be around someone with PMS :) and know how bad it can get . . . Matter of fact, I worked with Women for over 30+ Years and Volunteered in 3 National Women's Organiztions (10+ yrs), 2 Women's Health Clinics (5 years), and lived with My 2 Sister and Mother (even helped her when she went through Menapose too) . . . All I'll say is - I'll take "Addiction" withdrawal over PMS anytime . . . So - Yes - Fair is Fair

Original Post Edited for Brevity . . .

"Goodbye No ones friend"

Once where the light surrounded ones world, now is filling up with darkeness not leaving much behind. Once upon where one felt comfortable a means to do in bored spaces, is now succumbed to only darkness. Not feeling the the affects of ones actions, thy time has come, must serve myself now, must be strong and not deliver thy evil that has manifested itself in its throws. Now i am tired, tired with this strain of thought that has been consuming me. The little voice is becoming weeker, needing to eraser this little man, he cannot be given words no longer, he must not be given fuel to burn his thoughts within me. Must recognize to breathe life, I am not alone, i must battle this ever consuming fear that is attacking my ever waking moment. Waking moments, exercise candy for the mind, make of it what you will. I am no longer what i was. Goodbye no ones friend.

WOW ! ! !

IMO - Excellent piece of writing there - tells so much . . . :)

I'm sure it hit home for a lot of People - "Me" Included - Thank You for sharing that with "Us" . . . :D

The Only thing I would like to add . . .

Just remember that "Habits" and "Addictions" are two totally separate things . . . And while it takes a "Habit" only 3 weeks to develop/break - "Addictions" take a Life Time . . .
