Hi Everyone,
I am a new member to ECF and sooo happy that I found this site!!!! There is so much info on here(kind of overwhelming tho). Anyway I bought a Volt from Smokeless Image and hopefully I can get it today(I called the post office to see if I could just pick it up, instead of having it delivered.....I am a bit impatient lol). The Volt seemed the easiest way to go for someone new to the vaping world. I also like the web site, it was very easy to navigate and well done. The CS reviews that I have read here on ECF have all been great too!!!

I do have some questions tho. 1) What kind of upkeep is there for the Volt? 2) How long do the Carts usually last? 3) What type of juice is the best for the Volt(i.e. pg, vg, dark so on and so on)?

That all I the questions I can think of right now. Sorry if I have asked to many questions.

Hope u all have a great day.

I hope I didn't post this in the wrong place. If I did I am sorry!

Hi and welcome!!

1: I don't do any real upkeep; I charge them, I wipe the threads clean once in a while, some times I wash out cartos, sometimes I throw them in the garbage and grab a new one
2: depends on what you mean - how long can you vape one before it needs tossed or refilled? Or how many times you can refill them before they just don't work well anymore - I think I get around 15mls of thicker liquids through one before it just starts getting a burnt taste no matter what.
3: I have had less good luck with darker, coffee flavored liquids, which is a bummer because I love them, and also I find the heavier vg ratio of my favorite kills cartos faster than lighter, more pg liquids I've tried.

ask all the questions you want, we love 'em!

and really, enjoy and welcome Voltian.

In general the ECF part is what I meant I couldn't believe didn't have more entries. The videos, newsletter sign-ups and facebook likes would be hard to track (Poor Imagine:))

My face is not in the video and I am not talking and there is no music, just a video so it counts as an entry. I like my first frame of it real well though!

My vaping story is just so boring, I just cannot bring myself to post it:laugh:

I recevied my PCC kit today. Thanks for the fast shipping. However there was no instruction manuals(or boxes) included. How do you use the PCC?

All instructions are downloadable on the site. I thought they were looking into getting some printed ones to include with the kits, but I am not certain on that one;)

Hey, not like mine were great reads either! If nothing else it'll make you eligible for the random drawing. And if it's really that boring, maybe you'll get lucky and put the competition to sleep before they post theirs. :p

I just want to say that SI is the next to the best supplier I've ever dealt with. Customer service has exceeded any of my expectations. Order glitches and questions have been handled promptly and professionally.
I''m mainly writing this post because I was starting to get frustrated with what I thought were SI related problems.
I'm not going to go into the whole list because, truth be told, I'd look like an idiot! Duh!
The attitude I had was that "REAL MEN DON'T HAVE TO ASK DIRECTIONS OR READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!"
Or, that everything today is PLUG AND PLAY.
Case in point. I orderd and received the Volt PCC. Screwed the battery in, checked that the PCC was charged, checked the status of the battery, low (only 2 bars), let it sit to do its thing.
Checked the batt meter a few hours later, still 2 bars. Thought I had a defective battery.
Inserted another batt, let it sit a few hours, same thing.
Tried another batt, same problem. Now I'm the one getting charged up and steaming mad.
I was about to enter chat with Michaela, to voice my displeasure.
I figured I'd cool down by reading the latest SI threads.
A request by DLL9MM caught my eye. Instructions, instructions! I'm a man, I don't need no steenking instructions! Double Duhhh!
After reading the instructions, I'm much calmer now and my PCC is working properly.
Whoda Thunk. Nuff said.

I ordered my Volt kit some time ago, and I got printed instructions with mine. However, it was about the battery and how to charge it, not the PCC. I had no trouble figuring it out, except that I tried to lift the lid before I realized it slid open. Then again, before ordering, I read the online instructions and saw lots of video reviews, so I guess that prepared me.

My Review of the Smokeless Image Volt:

So my volt finally arrived, I was very impressed with their packaging and marketing.. Everything looks real profesional and the box that it came in is very sturdy and even has magnets to hold it shut.. Will make a very good stash for my juices!

First impression well... It came fully charged right from the factory which is a plus.. connected to my USB and it wasn't charging, I was like %^% thought I got a dud, but then I realized it wasnt charging cuz it was charged..

Setting it up is as easy as can be, just screw the cart on and your good to go... I got some of the Ry4 and let me say it is pretty damn good... I might just buy the pre-filled carts and then re-fill them myself instead of getting the blank ones..

As far as vapor production... well its a little lacking, but the good thing is that it still feels like you got a good hit, even if not a lot of smoke comes out.. that might change when I try it with some VG or 50/50 mixes...

soo.. bottom line, it doesn't produce plooms of smoke like an Ego with low Resistance atty but nonetheless the size and looks offset that.

Would I have been able to go 3 weeks without smoking an analog had I started with this... well the bottom line is I dont know.. I think I would have been disappointed... and went back to smoking.. had I not started on something more powerfull..

But now that I am a little wiser and know what vaping is all about I think the Volt is a great little addition to my collection and It will definitely get a lot of use when I want to stealth vape or I'm out in public vaping.

Me = Happy First Time Customer

Too funny! My hubby has learned that before he gets mad he better read the instructions or he's in some hot water with a whole lotta "I told YOU!!!!!!" But hey....he has not learned what he has taught his son....always listen to your wife:laugh: 9 time outta 10 she will be right;)

So glad you got it all worked out and welcome to SI!!!
