what would you like to know :)

Well, the standard one is pretty cheap (no reflection of your company, it's OK, just kind of flimsy, just like bloogs). The new one looks more sturdy. True? Also, how many recharges can I expect from a fully charged "mega" PCC? How long has it been on the site for sale? Any reviews out there you know about? Any other names it goes by so I can look for a review? THANKS!

Can you tell me anything more about this new PCC I just ordered? :)

Most of this was covered a couple pages ago... maybe this will help:

the VOLT PCC 65mm/78mm will fit 1 of the following combinations:

1) 2 65mm batts 1 carto
2) 1 65mm batt 2 cartos
3) 2 78mm batts
4) 1 78mm batt 2 cartos
5) 1 78mm charging & 1 65mm batt & carto

the PCC fully charged will charge a 65mm batt 3-4 times and a 78mm 1-2 times before the PCC needs to be recharged.

edit** also the 1000mah battery is replaceable...once it dies you can replace it without having to replace the PCC. it has a 300x recharge cycle

I think I ordered a different one than you describe as the one I bought can hold 2 batts and 6 cartos at the same time. Or so the picture shows and description says.

actually here are the specs for the MEGA
the mega PCC will fit:

6-8 cartos
2 batts any size from 65mm -102mm

It is a 1500 mah battery and can charge approx 4-6 batts before recharging.

it is about 1/2 inch wider and 1/2 longer then the other PCC.

The 1500 mah battery will have a 300x charging life cycle...it is not replaceable..once the PCC battery dies the PCC will need to be replaced.

I was a little surprised how many people insist on white with red LED so it can pass as a real cigarette. I much prefer that it looks nothing like a real one. But different needs for different situations. Plus some people are just set in their ways. Not like me or anything

i agree. I don't want it to look like a real cigarette too much so people are less likely to take issue with it, but at the same time, since I'm used to cigarettes, I like the feel of something similar. Plus the Vots are so handy and inconspicuous, compared to the bigger stuff, the mods and such. How do you explain them? I've heard many explanations, like it's an inhaler, but I'm not sure how believable it is. They don't look particularly medical, those mods made of a box of wood.

No problemo... I knew it was only just recently discussed so I just copied and pasted from the last time you wrote all that.

Not much really to review -- it's a PCC, it charges batteries and holds cartos. You can use an iPhone/iPod connector to charge it or use the one it comes with (2 different slots to choose from). Nice part about that is if you own both and are traveling you only need to bring the 1 connector with you.

What have I left out?

edit: holy smokes I just read about the lifespan of the pcc battery that you wrote -- I hadn't even noticed that before. hmmm - I'm sure someone will figure out how to "jailbreak" it to replace the battery. SteelJan?

I have the standard recharging case, and I don't think it's cheap. It seems well-made and durable, and, if I understand correctly, you can replace its battery when it's used up, unlike the new bigger ones. To me, that's a plus. I don't like tossing things out and replacing them as much as keeping what I'm used to. Yes, it stores less, but at the rate I'm vaping, it hasn't had to be recharged yet. I'm a fan of the smaller PCC, though not having tried the new one, I can't compare them.

Send one out to SteelJan! You know she'll review it. Ask her to compare it to the smaller one.

Just a quick note.... I think the colored caps are great...ordered several along with a couple more batteries (sky blue manual and red auto) I do hope that you come out with an XL battery in the future... now that I will have two more in my rotation it will help...but once you've used the XL it's hard to adjust to the smaller battery:)

Maybe I vape too much????

New PCC looks like a hyperbaric chamber...your batteries will never age.

THAT'S the kind of review I was looking for. I'll play with it for the next few days (it arrives tomorrow) and report back. I guess "cheap" wasn't the right word for the old one, but the display just never seems accurate - like a battery will be DEAD (blinking tip) and I put it in the PCC and it shows two bars, done charging in 20 minutes, then not really fully charged. I've gone to just charging each battery individually with the wall charger, but on Friday nights, when the beer is flowing, I need more than one battery to get me through the evening :)

wall chargers will always give the fastest and most full charge ...just in general...just an FYI to all :)

Speaking of which, not so much the batts but the cartos. If I try one, discard it for one I also want to try, and it may be a while till I get back to the first one, how's the best way to store it? The freezer? So far, I've been returning it to the blister pack of samples and pressing the foil down around it, but I'm sure that's not airtight, and it may be used up before I get back to it. I'm speaking specifically of Desert Joe, which is so far my least favorite, but before vaping what I opened, I'm really curious about the rest. I want to open and try them all, but I'm afraid if I do, I'll be wasting a lot of carto contents. I know you all vape so constantly that you don't have storage problems, but I think I might, if I don't store them so they are still fresh a month later.
