Welcome iball ! And congratulations on your success with your new Volt. I'm sure they'll get the PCC's in soon. Hope you have a safe trip back home as well. Thank you for your service to our country!

Thanks. It's only 2 weeks but i have a lot to take care of the first week, the second week I plan to kayak a little.

OH - about my avi - You guys are so goofy! It's just me in a tree in my "yard-not". *a few years back when I could still climb trees*. If you click on the thumbnail I think you'll be able to see it clearer.

Come October 2012 I'll be checking out of this madness, getting on a motorcycle, and pretty much getting the he11 away from civilization for a long while.

Here, there, everywhere!
Morning! Does anyone know if the new charging case has the replaceable battery? Definitely want a couple of these either way, but a replaceable battery would be even sweeter. Thanks, folks.

I believe I read somewhere it does not, rechargeable about 300x's - it that right Imagine?

Thank you for your service.

I'm new here, just got my Volt from smokelessimage.com and love it. Instantly dumped analogs from day one and haven't felt the need to go back.
Heh...just did two more orders from SI. Shipping times to the border of Iraq are actually quite good, 7 days flat from the time I get the email saying an order has shipped to when I'm picking up the bag from the mailroom clerk.
I just wish they would get more of the mobile charging PCCs in stock. I wants one BAD! Traveling next month home on leave and would like the ability to charge batteries on the go.
Oh well, I've got 3 auto batts and just ordered 3 manual batts so that should be enough to make it home on. :)
Again, excellent shipping times and service!
Oh, and the Pelican 1020 micro case is excellent for holding cartos, batts, and a couple bottles of juice while keeping the dust out.

I'd prefer copper -- would that be close enough for you orange lovers?

Awhile back it was hinted at that something I had asked for would soon be in the line up. I thought that meant we'd get gem caps or metallic finishes. But I guess it was just the mega pcc, which wasn't the design I was after. :(

Unless maybe those other things are still being looked at? (she says hopefully)

Unbelievable shipping SI !! I placed my order on Thursday night and hid in the woods (just kidding) until the mailman just delivered it. That's about a day and a half for delivery!!

About these Raspberry batts. YES!! Is1chris: they're even more attractive than they are in the picture. Very striking.

I also got plenty of grape nicquid, and the Sweet Sampler. The Vanilla, Chocolate, and Grape were not new to me, but the Cherry and Watermelon were flavors that I hadn't tried. The Cherry = meh. Not my thing, although I'm still testing it to give it a fair chance. If I'm still not fond of it, I'll put it away to steep for a few weeks. It's amazing how flavors can improve with age. The watermelon sample really surprised me. I've never had a watermelon nicquid that didn't turn me off big time. This is GREAT! :hubba: Gonna have to order more. Did Imagine say that this will be available in the bottles? It's too far back to me to find it ...

I just got one of the mega-PCC charging cases. No, the battery is not user-friendly replaceable. But I opened up the back, just 5 philips screws, and saw that the battery is a lithium-polymer gelpak. I can see that it would be pretty easy to cut the wires and solder in a connector. Plus I saw that these batteries are available on ebay for under $10 and have a mating connector already. So once you solder in a connector, then getting a new battery and swaping it out would be easy-peasy from then on. Guess I should do a video on that if anyone's interested.

iball....((((((((hugs))))))))....Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I have a step-son that was over yonder for a spell and a friend who's son keeps asking to go back:laugh: Welcome to our cozy SI family!

Thanks. I signed up in '92, wound up in Europe in '95 and just kept heading east over the years. So all in all I think I've spent half my life overseas now in one uniform or another.

Oh yeah, the 5 business cards that came with my order? They're all handed out now. Folks around here have heard about 'em but have never really seen one outside of the cheapo crap in the malls back in the states. They see what I'm getting out of my Volt and are looking to try it. I figure another week or two and they'll start ordering some starter kits.
Why? Because it's ALWAYS 120+F here during the summer. In order to smoke, you have to go outside. Into the 120+F Easy-Bake oven that is the desert. With no shade.
Vaping means you stay indoors in a nice A/C environment.
Don't have to go outside with vaping as long as you keep the flavors and scents fairly fruity and no one complains.
And since everyone has a rifle and pistol on them at all times, there ain't much complainin'.
Then again, one co-worker has this giant incense candle on her desk that makes an entire grid square reek of potpourri so I don't think anything else could cut through that - not even smoked salmon juice could cut through that. I told her if I start smelling patchouli oil she'd have an instant single-shot communion with God.
