I'd prefer copper -- would that be close enough for you orange lovers?

Awhile back it was hinted at that something I had asked for would soon be in the line up. I thought that meant we'd get gem caps or metallic finishes. But I guess it was just the mega pcc, which wasn't the design I was after. :(

Unless maybe those other things are still being looked at? (she says hopefully)

I'm with Starsong on this; my favorite batteries are still the silver ones, I love the slender appearance of the shiny metal finish, I would buy copper, platinum, gold, gunmetal, anything shiny like these!
also +1 for gem caps!

edit: I got to thinking about it, and I would love to see bright colors in the shiny finish too. don't get me wrong, I really love the feel of the rubberized finish, but I prefer the look of the shiny. More bling = more bueno.

Iball...I'm so glad you're here! The Volt is great for you guys being that it's so hassle free and dependable...you don't need something else to sorrry about.
I Love your banner...you've just really inspired me! Thanks.

Um...sorry Star---NO! is an orange spray tan as good as a beautiful bronze Sun tan?

No no no, the next new batts should be wrapped in digital camo!

Think about it....all the other finish style have been done except for one: digital camo.
I actually think that would be really cool, to have an option that would appeal to service personnel specifically ( and probably hunters and fishermen and fisherwomen too) would be a way nice gesture for them, plus dumb question but do active duty military persons need stealth batteries with no led?

I just got one of the mega-PCC charging cases. No, the battery is not user-friendly replaceable. But I opened up the back, just 5 philips screws, and saw that the battery is a lithium-polymer gelpak. I can see that it would be pretty easy to cut the wires and solder in a connector. Plus I saw that these batteries are available on ebay for under $10 and have a mating connector already. So once you solder in a connector, then getting a new battery and swaping it out would be easy-peasy from then on. Guess I should do a video on that if anyone's interested.

Would definitely like to see a video, including the source and part number of the replacement batt/connector if possible. Just ordered a Mega after some hesitation because of the un-replaceable batt, but instinct told me someone would find a replacement. BRAVO!!!

I just felt like I HAVE to give props to SmokelessImage for all the help with ordering for my sister. She is just now trying to get in to vaping, has a very very stressfull career and NO time for online shopping/education/forum review. Sixteen hour days just don't leave much time for that. She considers me the family expert and asked me to shop for her and order whatever she would need to get a good start. I have been vaping for over 3 years and at least know how to find the devices and some good juices and accessories for her.

I opened an account for her on SI, and filled her cart up really good, then sent her the link, her login and password, and she was able to complete the order today, all with no stress and from 350 miles away.

Online chat was big help and it was great that the cart saved for sis to return later. As she needs more supplies, I can continue to shop for her if needed.

Great service and I know she will love the device and flavors, or at least find some out of the selections I ordered for her, and after she gets accustomed to the device, she can explore the flavors. The Mega PCCs I got her will be a great benefit as she is out of the house and on the road early to late. Will be getting her a couple of passthroughs once they are back in stock. One for vehicle, one for office, and maybe another for home. She gets her mind into her work and clients and does not always remember to take what she needs daily, so having backups everywhere will really be a help.

Thanks again !

update added: Talked to her this morning, she was in deposition but took my call, she is so excited to receive her order that she upgraded to Express Shipping, my it must be nice to be able to afford that, but it's worth it to her. I am sending her some links to some great video reviews to maybe look at this weekend, so she will know what she has when she opens that great package !

bump and comment....

Sis's package was delivered to her office today, Saturday, and when I told her that it was due to be delivered today (from viewing the tracking info) she called building security and had them let the mail person into her office. She is so excited that she and her DH are driving into downtown Houston to get it... can't wait to hear back from her... awesome service ! She has already commented on that part. I sent her links to several videos also, hoping that tonight will be one of her rare evenings with a little downtime for herself.

Saturday's the only day to drive to downtown Houston  I really hope she enjoys her new goodies -- maybe you can talk her into joining us here in Imagine's thread!
Where are you in East Texas? I think I'm related to half of van zandt and wood counties :)
I sure wish I was anywhere in Texas right now...even houston!

I'm interested in the answer to this from an "expert in the field".

Well, she normally just does not have time to do forums and stuff, but maybe that will change someday, in the meantime, I will keep you all (or anyone interested) on the progress.

We live on Lake Palestine in Smith County but we lived in Wood County for several years, hae a marina on Lake Fork.

If Nebraska has had even one day under 100 degrees in the last nearly two months or a drop of rain, I would trade places with you.

While I was typing this, sis called and so far so good, loves the device, but she is having the little cough sensation, so I gave her all the standard advice.. she will be fine. She already had a bit of a cough, and told her about water, VG, smaller drags, taking in more air, all that stuff. She will adjust.

I agree. I'd never do it. I'm glad I have the newer kind of small one. I bet it won't be too long before they make the mega with a replaceable battery. I can't imagine why they didn't do that with the first generation.

well, I finally put my order in. Good thing I was paying attention, I had been shopping then I logged in, my cart had 4 times the amount of things I thought I was ordering. If that darn $ tree would grow I would've just submitted it! :p

1-black batt - that'll make 6 (mom keeps stealing mine 3 each)
2- mega cases. gray, I know wimpy, wimpy, wimpy.
1- 555 liquid
2 -packs of colored caps
oh..it feels so wrong not buying cartos....
CAN'T WAIT TO GET IT!! I'm soo excited about the cases.
SteelJan don't forget to post your address so I can send you mine to fix the battery.

Hi Uncle thanks :) and Welcome to the Thread
I wanted to let you know how great it is that you provided the "Heatwave" sale for everyone . . . I've been letting a number of "newbies" (like Myself) know about your "Heatwave" sale to help them out too . . . More importantly, I want you to know that if it wasn't for your sale I would not have been able to get all of the "stuff" I need to help me get going once I "find" MY WOW ! ! ! Flavor . . .

So a GREAT BIG THANKS ! ! ! :thumb:

Oh Yea- BTW, That mailman better watch out because Im waiting for him (and Yes my USPS Employee is a man - name is Mark) everything I ordered is suppose to arrive by Monday . . .

I'll be  till then . . .

Welcome iball !! so glad to hear they are getting over to you so smoothly!! Thank you for your Service!!!

Would love some feedback on way to help you guys with vaping....if anything comes up just let me know!!

I'm new here, just got my Volt from smokelessimage.com and love it. Instantly dumped analogs from day one and haven't felt the need to go back.
Heh...just did two more orders from SI. Shipping times to the border of Iraq are actually quite good, 7 days flat from the time I get the email saying an order has shipped to when I'm picking up the bag from the mailroom clerk.
I just wish they would get more of the mobile charging PCCs in stock. I wants one BAD! Traveling next month home on leave and would like the ability to charge batteries on the go.
Oh well, I've got 3 auto batts and just ordered 3 manual batts so that should be enough to make it home on. :)
Again, excellent shipping times and service!
Oh, and the Pelican 1020 micro case is excellent for holding cartos, batts, and a couple bottles of juice while keeping the dust out.

I always remind new vapers...that this is vapor or mist...and a pad+ a day smoker...can have the same reaction to vapor as they do in the shower...cough cough hack...till they adjust lol

iball there is actually a vendor that sells camo batteries and carts for those in the service. The battery has no LED on it for stealth vaping.

Thank you so much for your service and I wish you continued good fortune.

Thanks

Thanks, everyone who joined in the Favorite Flavors Survey, as informal and unscientific as it was. Here are the results:

107. 555
99. RY4
50. Grape
42. Cowboy
40. Desert Joe
37. Watermelon
20. Vanilla
19. Cappuccino
18. Chocolate
12. Cherry
6. Ice Menthol

Thirteen people responded, and I gave a score to their favorite flavor 10, their next 9, etc. The total scores are in front of the names so you can see that 555 and RY4 vastly won over the others. BTW, some mentioned Grape, and some Classic Grape. I know they aren't the same, but I lumped them together as one flavor. Both would have scored lower if they had been competing with each other.

I hope you all enjoy the results of this as much as I am. Now to start vaping the favorite flavors! I wonder how much I'll agree with the consensus.

Okay...I have been pondering this color thing....camo, shiney, dichroic, etc.....I think I have a solution if it could be done....and it would actually just be a matter of finding someone to do it. Shrink wrap....the plastic sheeting that shrinks to fit with heat. RC planes use it....when a hobbyist is building their RC plane, they have a world of colors and designs to choose from to make their planes.....now if there was a factory willing to make tubes of varying lengths that we could just slide over the batts, all we would need is a hairdryer to shrink to fit snug;) Holds up a whole lot better than the sticker type covers.
