Oh Thanks! :) I ordered automotive vinyl wrap from Metro Decals | Products > Wood Grain Vinyl > Burl Wood Vinyl > 15in Wide Burl Wood Vinyl It's only $4.29 for a 12 x 15" sheet and it's self-adhesive. One other really nice thing is that it's flexible enough to accomodate those curves in the eGo cone. For the manual battery, I removed the battery button, put on the vinyl, located the button hole, and used an Exacto knife (trying not to cut off my fingers) to carved out the hole opening and reinserted the button. Use an Exacto knife to trim up.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you put the vinyl on, clean the batt with a dab of detergent on a wet paper towel (NOT alcohol - which can destroy the adhesive), wipe it off with a wet paper towel with no detergent, then dry off thoroughly.

Can't wait to "woodsy up" a couple of Volt batts!!

About the mega-PCC:

Or, can we just send ours to you, SteelJan? :)

Just have to say, I still can't believe how awesome you are! You're my new hero!

Thanks! Well, now that I'm putting the mega-PCC through my infamous torture testing, not sure yet whether a simple battery swap is all that this thing needs to be worthy to ever get a Volt logo. Early days of testing though.

Got my Mega PCC today.. Gave it a full charge, Im not sure if Im doing something wrong or not... I put a fully charged batt in side 1.. I, then pressed the black button, it lit the led up on the batt for a few mins then it went off... fully charged batt ok.. then I go to put a drained batt batt on side 2, hit the black button, and it charges the the newly charged batt on side 1... Doesnt do anything for the drained batt on side 2.. I then swap sides with the batts and it will then charge the drained batt on side 1... It seems like side 2 inst doing anything??? Any suggestions

Also, it looks like on the site, the pics show both red lights on at the same time charging... Mine wont do that..

From my initial tests of having 2 batteries in at the same time, they both have to be ready to be charged. If one of them is charged already, you'll have to unscrew it first. When I do a video review of the mega-PCC, I'll explain it in a little more detail, show & tell.

And, this is the biggest flaw so far, mine does not charge a 78mm battery all the way to full charge even when the case itself is fully charged. I'm thinking the mega-PCC might have been originally made for those old-style wimpy KR808 batteries, the ones that only hold 150mA when fully charged. But that's just a guess at this point, more testing, more testing. :)

In all fairness to SmokelessImage, I suspect we Volties talked them into carrying this mega-PCC from seeing it at other vendors' sites and begging for it in this forum. It might need some factory modifications to handle the splendid regulated, high milliamp Volt batteries. So far, my slider volt smartPCC outperforms it in charging capability. But it's definitely a beautiful case that holds a lot of stuff and also charges.

I'd love to hear everyone else's experiences with the mega-PCC to make sure mine is performing the same.

SORRY! Just my 1/2 cent. I was trying to make a comparision. Neither is icky bad and gaggy - just not for me. BUT so far anything that says "turkish" seems to not be a fav to me from any vendor. IDK anything about tobacco, I've always just smoked Marlb lights.

Although the website describes Desert Joe as turkish, it doesn't taste turkish at all to me. To me, it's a mild tobacco that has sort of a smoky campfire spice in it. It tastes something in between Red Oak Tennessee Cured and Dr. Vapenstein's Stockholm e-liquids. And I'm a fan of both of those too. :2cool:

Welcome aboard :)
Hi all, I've been lurking your thread for a few days and just wanted to say thanks. I made my first e-cig purchase this week (well, it arrived this week) and based on everything I found here on ECF I went with the Volt. I love it! I haven't completely given up my analogs (1.5 pad of Marb Reds is hard to give up) but I've actually been really surprised to find that I love the RY4 and 555 flavors and I'm making it longer and longer w/o an analog every day. The Volt is so simple to use while still seeming to be a truly quality product, I just couldn't be happier. Customer service was great; I placed and received two orders in less than a week. Amazing. Very positive start for a newbie! Hopefully soon I'll be putting up my own tracker...

Charging mine up now, will weigh in later today to see if I can get a 78mm fully charged or not, and how many.

Drew (at another site) was explaining how it works in a video he made. He said don't charge 2 at once, and when 1 is done you should unscrew it then do the next one, otherwise it still directs power to the already charged one.

I've been looking for a replacement for RO Tennessee Cured because of the cost. It is one of my favorites. I'll have to try the Desert Joe! Have you tried any thing else that comes close to the Tennessee Cured?

Finally got the PCC charged and put one battery in (if looking at it with the connectors/lights at the top, this would be the right side). Pushed and held the button til lights were blinking, the right status turned red and the battery LED was lit. I walked away for a few minutes and when I came back all the lights were out. :?:
I held the button down again and watched this time and after a few seconds it does the same thing.
So I moved the battery to the left side and tried again, and now it is charging as it should - red charge status stays lit and batt LED stays lit. So this side is working properly.

I mentioned before I've had this one for awhile from someone else. But since WP was having a similar issue, maybe this is a common problem.

again we will be happy to exchange it...if it is a flaw... We did test these for a bit first...but they are not a custom product...and not from the same factory as our other PCC...but will of course still have our great guarantee and warantee so if issues persist just let us know.

No, I really haven't. I got tired of going with juice reviews and buying a bunch of stuff that is now collecting dust. Taste is so-o-o subjective. But sure wish I could find a cheap replacement for e-liquidplanet's cigar #2, it's a rich cherry cigar, love that stuff but am too stingy to pay those outrageous price + shipping costs.

I didn't get mine from you -- this one is a couple months old and was already exchanged once (first one the pcc wouldn't even charge). But in a way I don't mind since you shouldn't really charge 2 at the same time. So the bad side can store a charged one, good side can do the charging of another, and it still holds 6 cartos. Just wish the leatherette didn't stink
