While I don't think this will be for me for filling cartos - it will be for me to clean my cartos, instead of juice - HOT water:) Thanks Vapian - now anyone have a luere lock syringe or know where I can get one:)

What's interesting is that some folks have been cleaning them in a similar fashion for a while but didn't think to fill that way... and I never thought to clean that way until someone pointed out the obvious. Interesting, how the mind works. :)

LL syringes are available from all kinds of vendors who sell nicquid. Start by checking the pages of one of your current vendors and just drop a couple in the cart on your next order. For filling, 3ml is just about ideal (fits inside of most 30ml bottles). For cleaning you'll want a bigger one, at least 10ml though 20 to 30ml will reduces cycles. Up to 60ml are pretty readily available with a little Googling. If you can shop by brand BD and Monoject are the two most commonly found; I recommend BD because their lock collars tend to be smooth rather than knurled.

Local sources might include a pharmacy, hobby shop or hydroponics shop (which sometimes carry up to 140ml but that's just crazy big). Knowing a doctor, nurse or veterinarian might also be an in you can use.

Here, there, everywhere!
I use one of those bulb syringes from the infant dept of WallyWorld for cleaning. I cut the tip until it fits in the carto and powerflush back and forth with warm water. Used to clean my Ego attys and b Boge cartos with it, pump it about 100 times with air to dry it and then fill them. I botom filled them for the manual batts but nearly always had a little gurgling and some flooding. Guess I never perfected it. I'm afraid to try it with the auto batts so I drip into the Volt cartos and count drops. They look about the same size as the Boge but seem to hold about half again as much juice. Really nice filler in there. I can visually see a difference.

I use hubby's air compressor to dry them...LOL! He thinks I am crazy!

Yep - I use it for cartos on manual batteries too. It sure is fast! But I sent one flying using the Taryn Spin and nearly broke a vase with the prescription bottle on a length of cord. I don't spin anymore, and just let 'em sit.

^^^^^^^^^^^ ROTFLMAO ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Almost - did that too - except I was using a "Ziplock" Baggie and I almost broke a very expensive stainned glass table lamp . . .

Funny..... I made one about 6 months ago just for cleanning. I never filled them with juice till I saw your vid LOL!! I used a drill bit thru the syringe ... Same inner diameter of the thread end of the syringeto rid of the little hole to get more flow of liquid thru the entire carto's filler batting instead of blowing most of the liquid thru the vent hole.

Too funny. I use a plastic syringe without the plunger (thinking I'd be able to syringe fill - noooo) and dental floss! Looks tacky as hell, but it works!

okay....found a pic of what I use for a spinner....she uses her's as keyrings to carry short batts and cartos in, but I used a lanyard instead of a keyring through the top hole....

Rave....are you familiar with the little beads that craft stores sell for jewelry and such? Well, some (from Darice I believe) come in plastic tubes with a threaded cap....the cap also has a hanger of sorts that a string or lanyard can be attached too....anyway, that is what I use to taryn spin....drop the carto in the plastic tube...screw on the cap, and your good to go with no fly away cartos:laugh:

Another FYI: In Art & Craft stores (like Michaels) they also have in the beads section a small little container (5) that screw together (30 in total) that come in a divided (6) plastic box (very inexpensive too) - I've been using the small container for my "Night-Time" pills and as for the plastic box they come in - I did't know what I was going to use it for till I started this dam thing . . . It now holds many different "Vaping" Supplies . . .

okay....for the condom fill method....Leaford changed how he did his condom fills....instead of putting the connector end into the carto, he takes the cap off and pushes that end and when he sees juice just start to bubble outta the batt connector end, he pulls it out.....at least that way there is no cleaning the connector and trying to get into the little nooks there.

BTW, I tried this too - I don't know which one I prefer or could consider "Better" yet tho - that would be IMHO ;) . . . Still testing the "waters" so to say . . .

cindycated....many have your affliction towards syringes;) I tend to use them to fill when I have a lot of carts to be filled cause I hate having to rinse them between flavors.....typically I am doing a top off of the carto I am using so I use the drip and spin. My hubby was the same way with needles for a long time till he HAD to overcome it...we have a cat that is diabetic...needs a shot twice a day.

FUNNY . . . Thankfully, having an aversion to needles and being a diabetic myself, I don't have to use needles yet for insulin (Pill Popper) . . . But I'm suppose to be "shotting" myself up with B12 and another med - can't do it to myself, so some else has to every 2 weeks - however I am able to use a needle on other people (Did it when I worked in a Woman's Health Clinic and for my mother who was also a diabetic) . . . One day - maybe I got over it - will see . . .

Uncle...the big smilies....they are found online....some are saved into photobucket (or some other online photo storage) and some can be saved into your comp....if you are wanting some particular ones that you see, you can right click them and "save as" and save them to a folder on your computer....when you want to use them, you will need to select the "go advanced" option at the bottom of your post box....it will pop open and you will see all kinds of icons in your taskbar at the top of your message....the paperclip is the one you would select to use one of your saved smilies....unless it is an online photo smily....then you would select the icon that looks like a picture;)

Thank you so much for this info . . . Another couple of wonderful persons - "achtungbaby" and someone else last night - also lead me to this information . . . I have already "Save As" all of them last night (I know - MY BAD ), just haven't gotten the "knack" yet when I try to attach them to here . . . I'll keep trying though . . . Again - THANKS . . . I really appreciate the information . . . :D

Uncle....the ones that are used from places like photobucket, you can save them to your comp, but there will be no animation....I have gotten to the point now when I see one I don't have and want, I "reply with quote" on the post with the smiley to see if it was inserted as a photo or as an attachment....so many now are via photobucket or other online photo sites:( makes it more time consuming to save them:laugh: However...if they are used via a photo storage site, you don't have to "go advanced"....just when you are ready to insert the smiley just choose this icon....
insertimage.png
on your task bar just above the post box and insert the web address to your pic. I am only familiar...and vaguely at that....with photobucket and how to get the photo address from there;)

Let me correct my first statement here....they all are saved to the comp actually, but some can only be used via online photo storage....I have a folder on my desktop for regular smilies (with and without animation) and a subfolder in my pictures folder for smilies that have been used in that format.....wow....I am terrible at explaining this.....better stop now before I confuse even myself and forget how to do it:facepalm:

Once again - Thanks . . . I'll give that a try (probably tomorrow, especially since I haven't eaten dinner or taken my pills yet and it is after 12 MIDNIGHT - WOW ! ! ! I know - I know I'm a diabetic and I shouldn't be doing that . . . Another - MY BAD  ) and see what happens . . I'll let you know or actually you'll probably see if I did it correctly yourself . . .

(P.S. Night all . . . )

Those look great, but what do you do with all the beads? That would work if you're in to using beads.

Finally drained a second battery checking out RY4, 555 and Desert Joe... but, it's too late to monitor and time a dual-battery charge since I actually need my shut-eye tonight. Have to actually tuck in my shirt at work for some corporate types tomorrow. Might as well try to stay awake for 'em as well.

Will start the charge and timer in the morning and see how it goes. . . .

Coconut? You have coconut flavored juice? Did you remember to put the lime in it?

OK, I don't believe anyone has asked this yet: What's your color-coding system for the new colored tips and flavors? I've still got some white tips I've saved, so along with the clear tip stash that's seven colors. I'm thinking:

Red: Tobacco (or related)
Blue: Berries (duh)
Yellow: Other Fruity
Orange: Sodas (drink flavors in general)
Clear: Sweets (desserts)
Green: Lime
White: Coconut

How about the rest of you?
