That's pretty much how I look at it, a travel case for batts & cartos that can also charge in a pinch (as long as I'm not in a hurry). I still take the wall or usb charger for faster & fuller duty.

The way e-cig technology has gone the past couple years, I'm hoping within a year somebody will invent the perfect pcc. My dream pcc would be:
-- stores one 78mm batt and charges another in 2 hrs or so
-- gives 2 full charges without needing to top off
-- holds at least 4 cartos with the condoms on
-- roughly same dimensions as iPhone
-- has a retractable usb connector (self winding) or storage inside or outside for it.

(Hope Santa is reading this forum)

That sounds like the pcc of my dreams! Let me know when you find it, or when Santa delivers ;)

Hey Uncle: Back when I first started vaping, I still wanted to find a perfect menthol, and finally came up with my own solution. Instead of buying a menthol eliquid, I bought a regular 10ml bottle of tobacco flavor and added about a half dozen Menthol Drops to it. I got mine from Juicy Liquid (can I say that here? If not, I'm sorry Imagine).

Thank you so much for the suggestion & info - "Rave" . . . I was thinking that is what I'm going to have to do . . . Matter of fact - I think I'm going to order some Menthol Crystals/Drops soon . . . But right now I am getting ready to do a "test taste" marathon this weekend.

Especially since the "juice" I gotten so far - I haven't really "tasted" anything yet . . . All, I get is the TH from some - than a kind of "sweet" after taste of something I can not describe . . . But, I continue to try them . . . And notice that after they sit for awhile there is something else . . . Given this - I am trying to let some of the ones I have "steep" before I try them again . . .

AND now with all my new "Cartos" & "Colored caps" (of course from SI - Again, Imagine, Thanks for a wonderful sale, I would have not been able to purchase them otherwise) that I have finally gotten . . . I can now take all the "New" Juices I've gotten (Thankfully, a lot of them gifts from many of the generous people here at ECF who have offered {even here at SI} and sent me samples of "Menthols"/"Tobacco-Menthols" and some other flavors that they thought I might like {Yea for Coffee/Cappuccino} - and the ones I've purchased with help from a friend of mine) I am in the process of filling many of my new "cartos," color "capped" them, and am presently letting them "Steep" - that is till this weekend . . . When I plan to go on a "testing" cycle for that perfect "vape" experience - that WOW ! ! ! Taste . . .

Addition to post directed toward Uncle: add the menthol drops to a tobacco eliquid. *dag - I should be drinking coffee, not water ... or just go to bed."

You mean your not drinking coffee - HOW DARE YOU ! ! ! You're being a traitor to the experience of "vaping" with a cup of coffee? . . . I Gotta' have my Coffee while "vaping," especially since I so associate coffee & "Smoking" . . . And if I'm going to do this, I still have to drink coffee if I'm going to be able to "vap" full-time . . . I know it will help me get though the "transitional" phase . . .

(P.S. BTW, I'm not getting any food flavored "juice" just yet, especially since the association to having a "analog" after eating is just too much for me to even think about right now . . . Gotta' get this under my belt first, before doing "food".)

(P.S.S. No "emoticons" again - it took me to long to type, spell check, and edit this one . . . Sorry)

So you enjoying ECF so far?

YES! I've become addicted to it in the last month! Not visiting my old makeup forums very much at all lately. So, I'm spending less money on makeup and more on ecig supplies which is O.K., since I probably have a ten year supply of makeup-LOL!

Glad your enjoying the ECF, I've been on here more than my car forums now at days as well. But, still haven't cut back on mods for my car though

I dont mean to be ignorant because you all have posted some very useful info. I have 2 megas coming tomorrow and one is for my ancient mother.
I have the slider pcc too.
My question is this, can I leave the pccs charging all night?
And how many of the short batts will the mega charge before it needs charging?

I bought a set of eyeglass holders from WalMart Optical section (Croakies?) for under $3. However, I found that wrapping both loops around the PV made it practically choke my neck. (Maybe I accidentally bought a children's model?). Anyway, I cut off the cord and worked a key-ring into the small side of the loop which I can attach to an old ID lanyard I have.

You can use a smaller key-ring -- or use a larger one and put you finger through it and wear your Volt like an over-sized ring bauble...

No, but you certainly made up for it with "quoted words" - 25 of 'em

just yanking your chain, but it was amusing ;) Good luck with your taste-test marathon!

Thanks - I'm glad you got a good "laugh" for all those quotes . . . But are you sure it was "25" quoted words - there were no phases' or added emphases' . . . Did you count all of them correctly? I need some form of confirmation . . . Please go count them again . . .

AH - Come on you can do it . . .

I like pulling chains - too ;) . . . SO - much "FUN" :) . . . OOPS - More "Quoted Words" . . .

 Again - THANK "YOU" ! ! ! ! . . . That was Fun . . .

Let me know what conclusions you reach. I've been a Newport smoker since they were invented  (and still am, but much less per day since I got my Volts). I enjoy the SI "Menthol Ice" flavor, but it doesn't really cut my cravings that much. I bought samples of juice from another vendor: Menthol (pleasant, but more like a LifeSaver mint), a Newport knock-off (didn't taste like anything I've ever had in any form at all), a USA Green Mix (could taste the tobacco, but no Menthol), a Butterscotch (I gave it a "burial at sea" - yuck!) and, just to fill out the sampler pack, a Vanilla Mint, which turned out to be the only flavor I liked. Now I'm in the process of mixing some of these together to salvage my investment, but won't be ordering any of these again.

I've tried some fruit and desert flavors, thinking I'll just stay away from tobaccos. (I bought a whole 30ml bottle of Orange Dream that was on sale knowing how much I like that flavor. What I got certainly had the "orange" part down, but the "cream" tasted more like someone dropped a nickel in the juice.) However, I now feel it will take a good Newport substitute to get me off the analogs completely.

it's so gratifying to see that someone made use of my suggestion! Thanks.

Thank you for suggesting it. I couldn't remember exactly where or who on the forum posted it but it went straight to my shopping list so I wouldn't forget it. I have 1 1/2 acres of yard to maintain and it's hard keeping up with my "break kit." Now I know who to thank. :)

Another great idea! I like the short close in one when I'm doing yardwork. Keeps my PV out of the chainsaw or the branches when I'm doing things like pruning the Citrus trees etc. I'm going to fix one like yours for other activities. Like fishing, shooting, cooking etc. I still occasionally get those "sudden cravings" and that's when my PV has got to be right there to keep me from thinking about a smoke.

Ya know, when we do get our own forum, I'm really gonna miss this random string. It's kinda like a party with folks talking about all kinds of different subjects - some Volt related, others not. We need to continue something like this instead of just topic threads. Whadaya think?

I just caught your signature line, LOL. I hadn't really pronounced it in my head before, but now I've got resin bowl stuck there.

Dang - I suppose that's karma for putting out the "Mahna Mahna" earworm...

When Virginia first made vanity license plates available for cheap (as little as $10/year), they were limited to 6 letters: hence "resnbl". I've had numerous misinterpretations of it, including "resin bowl", and others who known my first and last initials are 'R' and 'S' assuming it was one of those cutsie couple's initials plates.

We'll definitely have a Lounge of some kind. It's too boring to stay on topic all the time.
I'll also like being able to have Sticky threads for all the Frequently Asked Questions and Stock Updates -- saves people from having to scroll through dozens of posts. Although the Search Thread function is pretty useful for that too.
