Ahhh I keep typing a longer response, and it signs me out before it submits.
Right now it is still under warranty, so I hate to mess with it in case I'd mess something up. Ykwim I sent a ticket in and they say I can send it back. They will replace it if it is defective and not something I did. Anyone get one replaced before?

I replaced an auto, but it was under different circumstances - ie A ridiculously short cutoff with minimum vapor production. I talked to them via the "Online Chat" feature that popups occasionally on their site, told me it was defective, and sent out the same model/color the same day. It was a very minimal amount of hassle, if any at all. The only thing was that I didn't try screwing with it before getting in touch with them. I don't know if that's what you're asking, but I thought I'd chime in.

Now there's a manual I got that seems to be suffering similar problem, though not actually exactly the same thing, that I'm going to have to try to talk to them about once I calm down and have some time on my hands. But, overall and rationally speaking, their CS is exceptionally friendly and helpful, so I'd just recommend talking with them about it before making any alterations yourself. Y'know, just to be safe. Maybe they'll tell you to do some of the things recommended here, but at least it'll be from their advice and, thus, place you in a better position to get a replacement if needed.

That's my two cents. And I typed all of this for you while sitting two inches from my laptop since I'm blind without my contacts - so hopefully it's at least a little helpful.

When you sign in there's a little box under your login name that you can click that says something like keep me logged in on this computer. I haven't been logged out in the middle of typing since I discovered it. When you're through and want to be logged out just clear the cookies in your browser or log out. Glad I found it cause it was getting frustrating. Hope this helps.

Thanks!
Yeah I feel bad sending it back in if it is an easy fix. But I don't want to void a warranty either. Ykwim The lady who answered my ticket didn't say to try anything, just to send it back.
I'm going to drop it off at the post office now.

I've never seen it done quite that way, but several here on ecf set them infront of a fan....I like your idea! It would never work for me though...too much pet hair....I have to clean my fans every other day...you'd think with the amount of hair I sweep up and clean outta the fans that my pets would be completely bald...it never ceases to amaze me:laugh:

I spin the water out of them and let them sit overnight....once the water is spun out, you could go ahead and refill, but I have enough filled that it is not necessary...so they actually sit for much longer;)

I've got one battery acting a little strange. It didn't shut off after I puffed. I unscrewed the carto and it shut off and seemed to work fine after. It's done it twice now, once yesterday and once today. The second time it trashed one of my prized cowboy cartos lol. I just did the SteelJan maintenence thing on it and hope it works. I'll sure be glad when the cowboy cartos and liquid come in. I'm down to 4 and getting nervous.

I never stick anything conductive, e.g. paperclip, into my battery's hole 'cause I don't want to run the risk of shorting out the battery. When I've wanted to fiddle with pulling up the center of the battery, which I did testing another manufacturer's carto on one of my Volt batteries, I did it with a whittled toothpick. But I doubt that's your problem.

Also, I don't screw the battery tightly onto the carto or onto the USB charger, because that can push the battery center down where it won't make carto contact later. Just snug where you feel it touch good is good enough.

First, try another carto on that battery. It could be you got a slightly off-specs carto where it's center post won't touch your battery center.

Also, clean your battery like I show in my cleaning video. A sign that it needs cleaning is if you hear a non-familiar whishy sound from around the carto base when you try to vape it. If the tiny air-holes on both sides of the battery threads get clogged, or there's gunk in that little area between the center point and the outside threads on the battery, the cartomizer won't draw well and so very little vapor. And all sorts of strange things can happen if e-liquid or condensation gets down into the battery hole, so yeah, check it with my tiny bit of rolled up tissue-thread, or I think Vapian uses sewing thread or dental floss or something, down the center battery hole.

Now, this is a strange one that I've not mentioned on a video yet. If the plastic ash cap on the LED end of your battery gets it's air holes plugged, it may not allow enough air in to fully engage the battery enough for a satisfactory vape. That ash cap is simply clicked in, not glued, you can pop it off sometimes with your fingernails or the blade of a small knife, just pry under the edges and it should snap out. Look at the two air-ways on opposite sides of the ash cap. If they are blocked by crud or something, you can whittle them out a bit or clean them and then snap the cap back in. There are micro-miniature holes on the little LED circuit board under the ash cap that have to stay clean and working, but I've not so far ever seen these crud up or get e-liquid in them.

Good luck with it, keep us posted.

I wondered why those ash-cap holes never came up, I found that out trying to vape hands-free like Molly Ringwold puts on her lipstick in the breakfast club. (Husbands dare us to do the dumbest stuff) .Totally doesn't work. I surmise also that if one were to, say, pop off that ash cap and replace it with, say, a big swarovski crystal that was glued in, that that would plug it up and cause it to not work.

It'll be alright. I'll just watch it. I mainly threw it out there to see if anybody else has had anything like that happen. These are my first auto batteries ever and I'm lovin em. Everybody talked me out of buying them when I started. Gotta have big manual batteries. Bovine Scat.
Let's see, if I limit my cowboy to after meals and morning coffee I should just make it lol.

Bovine scat! What a wonderful, imaginative euphemism! I hope your Cowboy comes in time. That's one flavor I have yet to try.
