Hmmm - Well, I use Polident denture cleaner tablets to soak atomizers in. I use the all night soak type rather than the 3 minute. Removes the carbon really well, and leaves them sparkling. I wonder how it would work on cartos. You'd have to rinse them out afterwards with warm/hot water, but I'll bet it would work just fine. Can you get that in the Middle East?
Theres a certain mouthwash i've heard people use as well....I've yet to clean a carto....lazy!
Got my Volt today and I love it! for a cig style pv, it works great! I'm liking it better than my standard batt 510's.
I will of course still use my ego's and mods, but this will replace my standard 510's for a cig style pv.
Imagine....don't even worry about the no box......I got everything I ordered, it works great, and I'm not the least bit disappointed.

Glad you like your Volt! Don't be surprised if you find that eventually, your eGo's and mods start gathering dust. It shocked the heck outta me when that happened. I gotta remember to post all that stuff on Swap/Trade/Sell thread ...
Me too! If I get a week or two out of a carto, I'm good with that. I've tried to clean cartos, while it works 80% of the time.....just to lazy. For me I've never in a year of vaping had a carto blow on me. The way they get retires is the draw tightens up so much that they suck....then I just toss it

That happens on typical KR-808 cartos, but I've yet to have it happen on the Volt horizontal coil cartos. Anyone else have 'em tighten up?
I'm cheap enough to want to clean cartos but lazy enough not to bother. Worst of both worlds.
i have had a few get a stiffer draw on them but that is after very prolonged use .What i find to help but it may be all in my head is on the bottom of the carto take a small screwdriver and turn just slightly the post to the left for a looser draw and to the right for a tighter draw .But it may all be in my head lol
Completely out of RY4 and 555 now. Jumped over to my "backup juice", 2 untested 30ml bottles of a Green Tea blend @ 11mg from another vendor...holy crap! Glad I've got about 15 blank cartos left!

Ya know, I really haven't either. It's gotta be the nature of the carto with the wick and coil being horizontal at the bottom. But I'm not seeing much of a difference. What I HAVE noticed is a fairly noticable different from carto to carto on resistance and VP. While they ALL produce vapor very well, I dusted off my Provari and pulled it out of my sock draw...hooked them up and tested the Ohms. They varied anywhere from 2.4ohms to 2.8 ohms. Doesn't really bother me, because so far in my experience they have all been a satisfying vape.

I've never torn either type of carto apart, but could it be that the inner tube running from top to bottom of the carto is made of a different, less absorbant material in the Volts? It stands to reason that a tube that absorbs more would tighten up. I dunno - just pondering ...
Does anyone else have issues with their freshly cleaned cartomizers tasting like greasy cotton? I have tried cleaning them a couple of different ways, and after any juice I use just tastes like narsty in them . Im sure I failed somehow. Any suggestions would help

I think I'm like this, too, but I'm going to try to clean them and find out if it's worth the trouble.
Suggestion...get with the LAZY PEOPLE (me)....just buy a new pack! lol See, I now feel vidicated for not cleaning my carto's!

Lol I did order more, but they wont be here until next week
so I have to make it through the weekend at least. The method i used last was soaking them in boiling water then flushing them out with a turkey baster and drying them overnight
I cleaned one...ONCE. It tasted like a roll of wet paper towels..blech.(not a volt carto)
Honestly they are disposable right? I mean a week or even a month out of a disposable item?? That's really good right? I didn't clean my smokes and reuse them..and I don't want another hobby...
I don't mean to offend anyone who does like to hobby or clean theirs. It's just not for everyone.
