Got my volt kit the other day. Works like I thought it would, which is good. But I need to contact them, one of the four batteries is DOA lol. No biggie though, as I have an army of vaping gear. As a matter of fact, I have a hopeful convert on her way to pick up the kit I got her. Hope it works out for her.

Put one of my batts through the washer and dryer :(

I was excited because the battery still charged, but the auto switch was toast :(

Note to self; check pockets more carefully

EleanorR - Your avitar just cracks me up. It looks exactly like a painting I did (as a joke) about a hundred years ago entitled "Black Panther in a Cave at Night". Sold the original and a lot of prints of that one - and some in the Kansas City area. Where did you find the image? Just curious ...

:)

I just found it online, don't remember where, in my first-ever attempt to locate/create an "avitar" for myself! :) It was probably a website featuring animal pics, because I knew I wanted a cat, and this pic looks just like my "youngest," Darius (16 years old and too full of sugar ).

I also love the "mysterious" air about it: were it to close its eyes, it would just be a black box!:laugh:

Lol, that's why I gave this company a shot. I toasted a V4L battery in the washer, and a few days later my old Puresmoker 808 finally gave out after about a year lol. Then not to be outdone, a Bloog auto that I've had for 3 or 4 months decided it had had enough. When it rains it pours in the ecig world.

Oooooooh! Those are beautiful!! I like the color of the first car better; that would make a splendid Volt battery color! :) (I would even buy one, and I am not an orange person . . .)

I think it tastes like a rich cocoa, and I love it as an occasional treat. :)

I'm all for treats that don't make me fat! I just placed an order for it, along with a few others I want to try, like that classic grape y'all like so much. The cartos are really cool! :2cool:

My credit card, however, is all "WTF is going on?" since I started vaping.

welcome Bobbye :) and yes they should work :)
Question -- I was on the KBV thread and a few people commented on how they loved their Volts so I've been over here reading the last few days. I use 808 and don't want to change, I'm happy with simple. Since I have quite a few chargers already for the 808's do I need to get a Volt charger? Some seem to say that V4L and others will work. I thought to start I'd get a few batteries and maybe some cartos. Comments?

I bought Hubby a volt kit with PCC (got him the blue cover. VERY prettty!) a couple weeks ago. He loves it. 2 batteries are almost getting him thru a whole day at work.

Now I need to order more cartos, but the coupon is giving me problems. I opened a ticket. When you get a minute, will you check for me?

Thanks so much and have a great weekend!

Cartos Cartos Cartos !

OMG I'm outa control! These ones are clean, those ones are used but still good for refilling, those over there need to be cleaned, and over here, well these are the ones I got confused on, so I need to sit and try them all out. And this pile in front of me, well do I need to toss them or not???

I am finding after I fill cartos some have a funny sound and reaction. They still produce good vapor and flavor, the draw is slightly tight but not bad. It's like I can feel and hear the juice pull forward in the filler when I take a drag and when I release from the drag I can hear the juice pull back down into the filler. Does this mean the carto is spent and toss it? Or will cleaning it fix this problem? I have had this happen with freshly cleaned cartos and pre-filled cartos that I am refilling for the first time.

Ha ha - That would be "Black Panther in a Cave at Night - Asleep!" I did that one too, as a follow up joke to the first one!! :)

Ooooh - That's a shame, but don't pitch that battery! There is a last resort. What I do is:

First - Blow through the LED end to get any extra moisture out of the casing.

Second - Twist up a corner of a paper towel so that it's quite thin, and poke it into the battery end to soak up as much moisture as possible from the switch diaphragm. I usually leave it facing downward like this overnight (with the paper towel at the bottom).

Third - Prop it up at an angle in a sunny window or very warm place with the battery end downward. It's important that it be at an angle so that air/heat can enter the battery hole and moisture can evaporate. Leave it that way for a few days.

Fourth - A little prayer to the PV gods probably wouldn't hurt.

This method doesn't always work, but sometimes it will. Good Luck!!

The Volt has KR808 threading, so your chargers and whatnot should work just fine, although the LED will not go out (as Iowa gal mentioned). The Volt batteries IMO are far more reliable and less temperamental than KR8 batts from "the other guy". You won't have to mess with adjusting connectors, or any of that nonsense. Make sure you get some Volt cartos too even if they're just the blanks. The cartos have a horizontal rather than a vertical coil, and they work hand-in-hand with the Volt batts. I tried some standard KR8 cartos on my Volt batts, and they work, but don't produce as much vapor or flavor. :p
