Well, I'm back in my shack in the desert and this morning the mail soldier came by and dropped off my package from SI - full o' 555 and RY4 cartos in 12mg along with a smooth sampler.
Ripped open the smooth sampler and tried Desert Joe, Freedom, and Cowboy.
Not. For. Me.
I guess I'm too used to 555, RY4, and this mentholated juice from another vendor that tastes like Malibu Coconut Rum.
When I was home I popped into a few "tobacco stores" and bought some Dekang juices. Yuck. Wasted my money on all of them. Now they're sitting in a sealed bag in my fridge with an "Open Only in Case of Extreme Shortage Emergency" label on them.
When I got my Darwin mod I tried to go the big tank route but they're all too complicated and messy for the environment I work in. With an 808 adapter on it set to 5 watts (matches the Volt battery output almost perfectly there) I just use Volt cartos on it now. When in garrison I use the Volt batts since they don't draw too much attention, when outside the wire for a couple of days I use the Darwin.
Blew some embassy security minds with both the Darwin and Volt batteries though....they still let me in with them though.

It's kinda hard to beat that RY4 - lol. As far as Dekang juice goes: BLECH!!

Ooooh - That's what I was afraid of. But, but ...

But, but ... you're an adventurous spirit, I can tell. Just because someone says it's bad, don't you have to see for yourself? Wasn't there some method described where you could just drip a little in to get a taste? What do you have to lose ... but your taste buds?

OH
I have a teeny tiny complaint. wonder if others have this. I am constantly losing the little stoppers in my cartos. Thank God I bought myself an extra package of the colored ones. wish I had bought two. They just disappear. I think they need to be a little more snug
You can push them down in a little further which helps but then they are a pain to get out.

LOL I always figure you never know just what you might like so I've tried many flavors (even ones not recommended)
tried a bacon maple with just a few drops could never get the taste out of the atomizer i used had to throw it away. FYI - chicken is not a good flavor to vape either.

A girl after my own heart! May I ask, from the flavors that were not recommended, did you find any that you personally liked?

I don't seem to lose them when the cartos are on the batts, but when I remove the "condoms" from spare cartos that I've used before and store for later use, sometimes they stick to the condom and don't come out with the carto. So check inside your condoms and see if they got lodged in there.

Just before i bought my stuff, they had hard caps, which were difficult to get off. They changed these for the soft ones, which are perhaps too easy to remove.

That reminds me. When I order, I've got to get a package of those colored caps, too. The shopping list just keeps getting longer, doesn't it?

I have already whined about how hard they are to keep track of - every time I pull my Volt out of my bra to have a vape I end up fishing around in there for the awol end cap - I order the colored ones by the dozen now

Not for all tastes, I know, but my solution is not to use end caps at all. I just throw them away and vape open-ended. It removes the hassle of having to remove them for periodic refilling or missing when attempting to get juice down a drip tip. In addition, I find the resulting thicker column of vapor more robust. I've gotten good at topping off in a way that rarely results in mouthfuls of liquid (and laughing it off when it occasionally does...).

Worse: CHICKEN LIVER!

Don't knock the odd flavors. I saw CRAB JUICE that people seemed to like (not me though. I'm sticking to Chunky Monkey and Blueberry Cheesecake).

I went vegetarian about a year ago and have been missing bacon...bacon juice not happenin'?

Hmm ... you're right. I never thought to try that. I did get more vapor with out the little cap on the carto. Thanks for the tip.

Some of mine get pushed down like that, and I found the implement of choice is my letter opener.
You know those little wire handle thingies on mini binder clips? They're perfect!

You squeeze them and they pop right off the clip. They're sturdy and already have the bend to give you perfect leverage. And they're small enough to put in anything you carry your gear in (bra not recommended though, Jill).

True, my letter opener stays on my desk. The wire thingies would be a lot more portable. Which makes me wonder what people carry with them when out and about. What is your PCC full of besides batteries and cartos? And why do you include it in your vaping supplies?

Just a suggestion, when not in use pop the condom back on. Keeps the end cap on : )

As a matter of fact, I'm the one that described it - lol. You remove the filler from a carto and just drip down the sides a bit. And you're right: Eventually, I'll just have to do it. Bacon is just sooo yummy!
