It's funny - All of this talk about Led Zep had some of my favorite songs of theirs running through my head. One of their early songs "The Immigrant Song" was stuck in my head for quite awhile. Only problem was: When hearing it in my head, it had the same skip that is on my vinyl. Makes me giggle.

I found a Turkey Baster at Albertson's for $2.50, and used that instead. I boiled some filtered water in a pot and sucked the water up through the used cartomizer, until the water coming up into the baster was clear again. Blow all the water out... OR... you can make a simple centrifuge.
Hmm.. I think I'll make a post on that centrifuge process and maybe even a video. For now I'll make a post. I'd wanna refine it more before I make the video. :p

Edit: I had to cut some of the tip off and shave down the inside of the tip a bit for it to fit properly. I'm on the lookout for some rubber-like tubing that will fit the carts perfectly.

Edit #2: Haha... Already been done! Of course, right? Nothing new under the sun. Look at me, thinking I'm all creative... SMH
The taryn spin method seems a bit more complex than mine, but also seems to be more reusable than mine. Oh well. :)

A food dehydrator works quite nicely with less effort as well (but more energy consumption). Also - At about the same time that the Taryn Spin was created, we were all playing games with salad spinners and handheld electric fans. If you ever have a chance to read the original thread, it's so hilarious that I was in tears at several points.

sorry about that...not sure what happened :(

I'm a little disappointed with my latest order. Placed it on the 15th in the morning (your time) and it didn't ship until the 16th and didn't get a delivery notice until today.
First time that's happened! What's up? Not enough manpower that day?
Still good service but you've spoiled me with like "same day shipping" and all emails hitting within hours of placing the order.

entries just have to be a min of 4 lines... (4 words = 4 lines or 100's of lines is fine too :p)
Oh.......I see,........but the twist I put on the "Going to California" lyric doesn't have the requisite 4 lines. That's OK,....I would have felt like a plagiarist using that anyway. Of course Zeppelin themselves were known to do some.........ahem.....borrowing of ideas themselves.

Now,....back to vaping.....

Cheers,
Kelly

The adhesive is an edible silicone (also used on baby pacifiers)

Did you confirm an answer on this? Thank you.

the silicone could possibly... the adhesive would be to far down to touch the wick ..if it did it would be broken and not function....

I will confirm the ingredients with china tonight...and get back to you... I forget off hand.

omg, I do that same thing with my Beatles White album, two songs have a skip and that's how I hear them now too. LOL

My husband's favorite Led Zep song is Ten Years Gone. I got tired of them years ago because my now-defunct radio station used to play them nonstop, but I still enjoy listening to the Moody Blues every once in a great while. Tuesday Afternoon is one of my favorites from that band.
Congrats Deb and congrats also on your Veteran's Day, I'm sorry I missed it, I love to rock the vet avi game!

ps the White Album sounds like it's skipping half the time anyway!

Vaped the last watermelon carto yesterday. all 5 of them empty on the shelf waiting patiently to be soaked again.
HAPPY SATURDAY :)

Oh - That's a bummer. I understand how it feels to be watermelonless. Hopefully, we will be able to fill that void soon. :)

Thanks, Samuraijill! :) I was a teenager in the 80s and still enjoy Ozzy Osbourne and Billy Idol on occasion.

and no fluff, but saw this out in the wild and wanted to share with my animal-loving friends at SI. This just makes my blood boil.

ugh, disgusting, a real sign of the times. You can be sure I don't shop there anyhow but I will go one step further and call corporate.

on-topic edit: I'm sitting here vaping myself stupid at my desk, and it just occurred to me how relaxed I feel about it. I finally, after almost 4 months of trying liquids and buying batteries and replacing dead batteries and wasting cartos because I didn't know what I was doing or didn't know I would hate something before I went ahead and loaded up, feel like I am stocked up.
30 ml bottles of my faves? Check. Enough batteries to never worry about having one charged? Check. Enough cartomizers to last a minor disaster? Check. Both chargers currently working? Check.
I am happy. I am calm. I am smoke free. I am Volt.
Whenever I read stories about how many pvs people have tried and how much money they've spent trying to find their perfect vape, I feel almost guilty that I found mine within 6 months and with the first hardware I tried. Yay ECF and Yay Smokeless Image!
