Yay! That was quick! Thank you so much. Not only did our chance meeting garner me a fantastic alternative to smoking, you also gave me a support group of knowledgeable and friendly people

I have to tell you, you were so right on everything you told me. I bit the bullet and ordered the larger kit with PCC and added a wall charger and I started with the Freedom juice. I am sooooo not disappointed. The flavor is great, the strength you recommended was right on the money and I honestly think the e-cig is superior to my tobacco cigs in flavor and satisfaction.

I have had absolutely no problems with the Volt and I'm recommending it to everyone I see and forwarding the website to my friends like crazy. I can't thank you enough.

Rissa, why not try the sampler cartos. Then you can try a lot of flavors and see what you like best. That's what I did, and I'm still trying to decide on a favorite flavor so I'll know what to order more of.

And if not - while I know already that it is purely subjective to the individual . . . Okay enough - just plain and simple . . .
Can anyone tell me anything more specific about the SI "tobacco" flavors so I could possible mix the 2 to try and get what I am looking for - Thanks ! ! !

I'll give you my review of the tobacco flavors I have, though I don't know how worthwhile it'll be. I try a flavor, put it aside, then come back to it maybe a week later, and it tastes different than I remembered. I can't tell if the cartos change, or if it's me.

But here goes.

Desert Joe: When I first tried this, it left me cold, but now I'm vaping it again and liking it. It has a fairly straightforward tobacco flavor.

Cowboy: It has a mild taste, then a stronger aftertaste. There's a hint of sweetness in it that I'm not too fond of. I think it might taste more like pipe tobacco, though I'm not really familiar with smoking a pipe, just the smell.

RY4: More of that sweetness yet. This was one of my favorites when I first vaped it, but now I think I like Desert Joe better. What next week will bring, who knows?

555: Still tastes very good, even after letting it rest for a time. A little more of that sweetness than Desert Joe, less than RY4.

Chocolate: Not a tobacco flavor per se, but I still really like it. It has a tobacco flavor with an undertone of dark chocolate. Not sweet, like you might think. I'm really not as fond of the sweet flavors like cherry, yet this is definitely a favorite.

That's just how I see it right now with the cartos I have. Ask me tomorrow or in a week, and my answers might be totally different.

Cappuccino: Tobacco flavor with a subtle coffee-and-cream taste. A hint of that sweetness i already mentioned.

Cherry: Smoky at first, then a strong cherry flavor. Not real cherries but that cherry cough drop taste.

Vanilla: Pretty straightforward vanilla taste. Slightly sweet.

Grape: (not the "new" classic grape) Like cherry, this has an artificial grape flavor, like grape soda or something. No sweet taste, though, which is nice. I think someone (Imagine?) described it as "smoky grape," and I'd say that's accurate.

Watermelon: This probably has the most authentic fruit flavor of them all. Tastes like smoke, then watermelon. No sweetness other than the basic watermelon flavor. It's really good if you want to vape watermelon. It's pretty far away from any tobacco taste, though.

Not Really - but nice reviews . . . I'm trying to stay away from sweet and food like flavors, every single one I've tried, all I want to do is light up an analog after a while - so that doesn't help Me at all (Although, I do like the sound of cappuccino & coffees - but than again "Analogs" with them - I know I know WHAT ? Yep - give me a cig with my caffine) . . . And although I've seen some videos and write up reviews on other threads - there are very few reviews about the flavors at Smokeless Image site . . . especially by the people I know here that I feel I can trust more with their opinions about them . . . AND I really like the one "Image" did about the Menthol Burst a few post ago - So much so that I am bitting the bullet so to say within the next couple of days and with a little assistance from a friend I am actually going to order a couple of different bottle of juice to see if any of them will work for me . . .

Hey Uncle, have you tried Vape Placid from Kick Bass Vapor? I had an on and off relationship with Menthols, ended up way, way off, but bought some for my husband who is struggling to get going with his Volt, and it's really nice, very mild and well balanced IMO. I would vape it if there was nothing sweet around, and I'm sitting on a lot of stuff I wouldn't.

I had an on and off relationship with Menthols, ended up way, way off, but bought some for my husband who is struggling to get going with his Volt, and it's really nice, very mild and well balanced IMO. I would vape it if there was nothing sweet around, and I'm sitting on a lot of stuff I wouldn't.

One of which was "Vape Placid" 24mg and so far on both attempts the only thing I got was no TH and a slight "sweet mint" after taste . . . Which of course is not for Me . . . However, I haven't given up on this one yet. I've let it alone for now while I try the others and plan to go back to it and try again . . . Matter of fact, I am going to do that with all the Menthols I have - then if I still do'nt get anything from them I plan on doing a PIF TC . . . The other samples I want to hold onto to till I find the Menthol then try them later . . .

Uncle, tell me if I'm wrong, but I think you are trying to find a flavor that perfectly reproduces a menthol cigarette. Am I right? My first instinct was to find a flavor that tasted like a cigarette, too. I tried most of SI's flavors, as you can see by my reviews above. Nothing tastes just like my Camels. I've given up trying and now want to savor the flavors for themselves, as distinct from smoking a cigarette. Cigarettes satisfy that craving like nothing else does, I've found, but I can enjoy vaping certain flavors for themselves. It's sort of like if you enjoy chocolate ice cream, you can also like vanilla. You won't like it if you think it should taste like chocolate, but vanilla ice cream is perfectly fine, too. That's something I learned early on.

Have you tried PureCig from freedomsmokeusa? You can get it in the menthol version. I'm branching out now, but at first nothing would work for me except for PureCig Menthol.

I've got a pack of Menthol Burst cartos. Wasn't crazy about them until they got down far enough to add a little Desert Joe to them. It didn't seem to soften the menthol all that much but sure added a lot for me as far as flavor. I don't vape menthol all the time but I do enjoy it occasionally. I don't think Cowboy would have gone in it as well but everybody's different.

Rissa, I found that the flavor changed for me over time. For instance, when I first tried Desert Joe, I was unimpressed, though I didn't dislike it. Now I like it better. I'm not sure if the cartos changed after I opened them and they sat a while, or if my taste has changed. I didn't attempt filling cartos yet. I've only vaped prefilled cartos. My strategy is to finish at least some of them, have an idea of what I'd like a larger portion of, order the liquid, and then try to fill a carto. Whether I'll have to clean them first depends on if I want to refill the same or a similar flavor. I'm hoping not to have to attempt cleaning cartos right away. If you buy prefilled cartos, you can then refill them with the same e-liquid several times or clean them and fill them with a different flavor. This is what I hear, anyway, from reading here. There are lots of newbies to e-cigs here, so we can all muddle along together, and there are others who are more experienced to help us along the way.

OH MY - Without-a-doubt you are absolutely correct . . . And I have no illusions at all about finding anything even close to an analog and/or what I use to smoke . . . Now, I'm not expecting a miracle - nor to be totally satisfied just yet . . . But something - just something - should be close to what an actual menthol tasted like for ME . . . SO I can at least start to "Vape" more often without having to turn back to an analog to find some satisfaction . . . Matter of fact, while I am being very careful, I am also using a low level Nicotine patch during the day to help me along so it is not the nicotine - nor am I having a problem with Vapor production . . . I even force myself to take 10-15 puffs, before I finally give-up and pick up an analog . . . What I am really missing is a TH & Taste when I take a "drag," unless I keep adding Menthol Crystal a couple of drops . . . More importantly, I would like to find the right One Taste without having to also becoming a DIY'er as so many have already had to do . . . SO I'm still checking and looking and trying what I can . . . I have another ten more "flavors" other people have suggested too (waiting to have more money to get them after I go through what I have) . . . Again, given the SI sale I was looking to "Hear" what others had to say about the tobacco flavors before I get any (BTW, I already have 5 pack of 555 cartos, but given the reviews about "burnt popcorn" I haven't and probably won't touched them - and "DM" has dips on them - I owe him ). . .

i was a menthol smoker... never got into tobacco's or menthol... fruit flavors are all the work for me.... really love the grape obviously... adding in some menthol to fruits is awesome!! if you try it ...might surprise you

No, I haven't - Although, I've registered for their site and sent an email requesting Info about their juice - I never got a response, so I passed them by . . . Nor has anyone suggest them to Me or that Menthol. . . So, Thanks for the suggestion . . . Can I also ask you - What was your analog ? That would give me an idea of what PureCig Menthol is like . . .
