Ordered my Volt starter kit yesterday morning and had it shipped "Express". Anyone know if I will get it today? I sure hope so. I am in PA (Central) so maybe? Hopefully? lol

It's possible. My orders usually arrive within 2-3 business days with USPS First Class Priority. Hope you enjoy your new kit! :)

When I first started over two years ago it was with 801's on auto batts. Those dern things would fire if my son passed gas in the same room. Okay - That's a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. Sometimes the LED's would light on the end table for absolutely no reason that I could determine at all. I still have a few of them in a clear box. Whenever I move that box, the LED's light up. Most disturbing. An awful lot of people have no idea that the technology is so much improved now.

From there, I went to a KR-808, but I had too much trouble fighting with the connectors and getting them to charge properly and the vape was COLD. That was it for the auto for me. On to the Joye510's which I fiddled with for waaay too long. Tea bags, foam, scrubby pads, springs, silicone, straws, different cartos, etc, so on. So I tried 510 tanks which didn't taste right. Pump carts, SmartCarts, CE2's, G4's, in addition to eGo's, eGo tanks, Leo's, and Lea's. It was a ridiculous struggle. Who woulda thought that the unimposing little Volt could beat them all in a fair fight? I finally found my way HOME!

Oh, I totally agree with you about the Volt. As for the 510s, I got tired of trying to figure out how to clean the attys. I tried several methods but none of them worked for me. The worst was immersing them in rubbing alcohol. I would not recommend that because it's very hard to get rid of the taste. Nasty!!

Then there was the problem with constant leakage, which killed at least three of my batteries. Then I was dissatisfied with the vapor output and the TH. After all the money and time spent, I was beginning to get very frustrated until I started finding reviews about the Volt.

I bought my kit last month and have been a happy camper ever since. ;) I still find myself playing musical batteries, but that's because I'm a heavy vaper.

Cleaning with alcohol works well if you rinse very thoroughly with water afterward. If you soak your attys in it - you may lose your paint though. Some colors peel right up. Sooo glad I'm done with all of that.

And yeah - I really appreciate not having to deal with leakage any more!! My 801's and 510's leaked like a sieve. It was bad enough that I bought a ShamWow and cut it into squares because I was going through way too many paper towels. Unless you realllllly overfill them, Volts don't leak.

I have a Volt kit and wanted to get away from the 100% PG cartz. What is the highest VG ratio I could put into a cart? 70/30 PG/VG? 50/50? 100%VG?

If I can go 100% VG what cartz should I use?

You don't have to think about this if you stick to the Volt eliquid. :) It's difficult to answer this question as I have found different consistancies with different suppliers. If the eliquid is too thick, you could dilute with PGA or distilled water using a very, very small amount. I generally stick to the 80/20 or 70/30 ratio for good vapor and better flavor than a higher ratio of VG.

Figured "what the hey" and ordered some Mint 30ml, Mint 5-pack of cartos, Watermelon 30ml, and Watermelon 5-pack of cartos and a green auto battery.
Right now I'm mostly using RY4, 555, and another vendor's menthol juice.
Digging the classic grape right now too...

I'm sure you'll love the watermelon. I'm a 555 and RY4 guy myself.... Both the grape and watermelon has really grown on me:)

How are people liking the new SI mint flavor? I am just about out of my 10ml new grape flavor. I want to get my order in today before it gets too late. I am thinking of ordering the 30ml of grape and a 30ml or the mint.

I never was a fan of menthol analogs but love the general flavor of mint itsself. Since this new MINT flavor that SI has says its not a menthol I think ima give it a shot.
