If you've vaped the carto dry at some point before you started getting that burnt taste, I'm afraid it may be time for a new carto. Sounds like it. You could try cleaning it, blowing it out, and then drying it thoroughly - but I wouldn't hold my breath.
buy coyote urine and sprinkle it around the area or paint it on rocks or planters or whatever in the area that you want to protect. You'll have to replenish it after a few hard rains though.I know exactly how much I've spent to the penny - on Dec 1st I turn in all my vape receipts to the company for reimbursement!
ps if you all can deal with moose and gliders and god knows what else in your yards can ya tell me how to keep my neighbors' cats from crapping in my bark dust??
Same advice ...HA! I wish... I'm good with wild animals but I have netting up around my redone flowerbox and STILL can't keep the neighbor cats from using it as a huge litterbox

Around here I think it strange to go inside to use the bathroom if I'm more than a few steps from the door. I also have an outdoor shower in the back for summer. I was a Boy Scout leader for about 10 years and don't mind sleeping on leaves at all. Unfortunately "civilization" is encroaching once again so my property is up for sale and I'm looking farther out but secluded places in this part of Florida are getting rare.

Sorry to hear about the job loss and those battling through cut hours. Im not sure what kinds of restrictions you have in the usa, but here you can ask your banks or those that you owe money to like bill providers- eg gas, electricity for a hold on your account where you are making repayments too. Under special circumstances like job loss/ medical reasons some do. Of course it all depends on your circumstances/ options available to you. I hope things pick up soon.

Talking about halloween here on the threads you guys reminded me of my dress up day last year that i totally forgot about. I worked as a night packer for a year while still working at the station during the day. They held a dress up contest and the winner had the chance too win a $50 voucher. So i got to work creating a costume. I used white gaffa tape( kind of like electrical tape) but it sticks like super glue, and cut out bone shapes. Stuck them to my motorcyle pants , jacket, boots, and gloves. Did all bones for toes and fingers, took me forever. Painted my face in silver paint( store ran out of white) big black circle eyes and teeth like lips LOL , the kiddies got a laugh out of it, the parents got a bit freaked everytime they went to ask for a product and my team mates all bailed out on me, and cos i made the effort i won. Was pretty cool!!!
Chances are you aren't doing anything wrong. Cartos are a simple answer to seperate carts and atomizers and are supposed to be disposable and much less expensive than attys, which also get a burnt taste from some of the ingredients being gunked up on the coils. I've posted before that I'm too cheap to toss them and too lazy to clean them. As a result I've got a baggie full of ones that started performing less or got the dreaded burnt taste which I may try to clean later. The good news is a lot of people extend the life to double or more on some of them by cleaning them using various methods from boiling and drying to soaking in vodka. How quickly they gunk up depends a lot on what kind of juice you're using. Juices heavy on VG with sweet flavorings from some vendors seem to gunk them up quicker than PG less sweet flavors. SI's juices don't seem to clog them bad at all. There are a lot of other variables as well. I know I get a lot of mileage out of the Volt cartos compared to some of the other brands I tried when using 510s. Youtube has several excellent videos on cleaning and maintaining them. How many do you own? and are you using SI RY4? I'd just store the burnt tasting ones and clean a bunch all at once since the process for cleaning several seems to take about as much time as cleaning one or two.

they are sealed, but they will still have a switch inside that can die.... so we are officially saying...they are dripping resistant not dripping proof.
but they will be much harder to get juice in then the current autos
I'm keeping my eyeballs on the SI website, they're still not up there yet. Wahhh! I'm in desperate need of more Desert Joe eliquid and am waiting on these new batts to go up to order.
Please tell me these do not have that teeny-tiny pinhole in them like the one I reviewed from another vendor that causes a slurpy sound during vaping and the pin-hole clogged up when I vaped it in a humid environment. I know you've got to have a hole somewhere to activate the auto-switch, but hopefully you've come up with something way cleverer than that teeny pin-hole, yes??
