Around here I think it strange to go inside to use the bathroom if I'm more than a few steps from the door.

Remind me not to stop by on mowing or car-washing day!

Unfortunately "civilization" is encroaching once again so my property is up for sale and I'm looking farther out but secluded places in this part of Florida are getting rare.

Think we've got some extremely secluded land somewhere in Alabama... well, as long as ya dont mind the always possible demand of a pigboy squeal! 8-o Me, personally, I wouldn't risk it ;)

When I log on and open this thread I just click on the "view first unread" thingy at the top and it takes me right back to where I left off. No wading through stuff.

and lastly, YAY! I learned another something new today!

Where I usually am
I am a "Resident Curmudgeon" --not an ECF moderator as every post clearly shows. I was only trying to pass along knowledge I learned the hard way to another Voltie -- and another Texan voltie, at that.

I apologize for posting a reminder about ECF forum rules since some of you seem to be offended, but some of you are pretty new to this forum and its rules...and I mistakenly thought I was being helpful.

Over and out.
Much appreciated AND don't be sorry:)
I'm sorry that everyone needs a magnifying glass to see my sig:(

Got my prize from the poem contest today:banana:

I went with the basic kit, going to run it through a few days but so far I like it much more than the kr8 kit I started with almost 2 years ago. I do have a few mods and ego types but never really liked the size or looks of them, I'm a keep it basic type of guy.

got a sample pack of tobacco cartos with it, and I must say the desert joe is a good vape, haven't tried the others yet, but I'm definitely going to order some of that.

all in all a regulated kr8 batt maybe what I was wanting after all, I wonder if it's ok to use the older kr8 pcc with these kind of batts?

and the horizontal cartos I like much better than the 510 cartos I've been using for the past few months.

Thanks again to SI for the prize, from a future customer. (got to order a couple more batts and some blanks at least)

awesome and welcome to the thread

They should work in the other pcc... however the light indications may not work 100% accurately and they might take a bit longer to charge with the extra mah :p

Hi everyone - looooong time reader and pretty much still at noob poster. I've been waiting a full year for the mini-super mini PVs to get better, and after reading a couple hundred posts and watching a lot of videos (looking at you, S.Jan), I've decided to give the Volt a try. I was using the V4Life Vapor King with their cartos during Summer 2010, and I found those units to be about 50% of the way to the goal when it comes to finding a real substitute for analogs that look and feel like a real cigarette and do not require much work (modding, filling, etc.). I have a couple of questions that I haven't seen answers to after browsing for a little bit and I think all you Volt experts can help me with answers.

First of all, how many equivalent analog cigarettes would you say are actually in one volt carto? I know they are always advertised as one carto equals one pack of analogs, but I never found that to be anywhere near true. I take about 15 drags on an analog and smoke it for 5-7 mins before it is kicked. For budgetary reasons, I would really like to know how much vaping I can expect. I know this is a subjective topic, but if someone has a good idea of the 'average' number of drags or equivalent number of analogs are in one carto, I think that would guide me in the right direction.

Also, how would you say the Volt works in a relative comparison to the V4Life Vapor King -the V.King model from one year ago? I found the throat hit was a little too heavy (especially for my girlfriend), vapor production was pretty not so good, and the batteries were a bit unreliable and would drain quickly. If the V4Life units were 50% on the way to being able to quit analogs for me, would you say the Volt is 80-90% there? If so, I'm ordering ASAP. TIA

You know how scents have scratch and smell. Was sitting here thinking it would be nice is websites had scratch and taste for their liquids.......

But then I'd have to clean all the tongue marks off my monitor....like the doggie nose prints on the patio door and truck windows.

I can support this suggestion!

and honestly, not being picky, its fine with me if I need to hook up a pass-through to my USB plug to sample um all. Whatever is easiest for you Imagine!

I haven't tried the Vapor King, so I can't compare it to the Volt. Maybe someone more qualified can answer that question for you. I can say that I've used four other e-cigs (Blu, Volcano, Bloog, Inferno-T) over the past year and that the Volt beats them all in vapor quality and TH. And, they have yet to leak, which was a big issue for me.

As for the carto life, it depends on how much you vape during the day. Mine usually last a day, sometimes a little over. I can make a 5-carto flavor pack last a week (M-F).
