I was wondering if the holiday threw off the USPS schedule because normally I receive my orders within 2-3 days. When my order didn't come yesterday, I resigned myself to a Monday delivery. But then it arrived today! My purple sealed bat with the purple LED is very pretty, as is the blue on blue batt. :) I also got some blank cartos so I can experiment with new flavors. I'm looking forward to reading the reviews of the new PCC when it comes out, but I don't anticipate doing any more shopping for a while. I'm pretty well stocked for a while.

Yeah, so with 7 ports, I'm guessing the 2 amps are distributed. And if it's from eBay...
The new wall adapter from SI coming up next week sounds like it would solve all your problems with the passthrough though! :)

Yep, that's the plan at this point. Still nice to have the hub, it's good for charging multiple batteries, so I don't feel like I completely wasted my money.

...even though I lost my orange 65mm in the port a pot last weekend...

Oh no!

I'm also going to remember to stock up at the end of this year, because the first of the year there are some really long Chinese holidays and production/shipments shut down. Last year that left the unprepared vendors, and us, desperately waiting for shipments. Hopefully this time they'll all plan ahead a little better. I wasn't aware of SI back then so don't know if they suffered the same way other vendors did (or if they they were in business yet). But Jan/Feb the shelves were empty for other vendors.

Here's a link to the upcoming holidays next year: Official Public Holidays in China, 2011/2012 China Holidays & Festivals

Good tip - can't imagine running out of cappiccino!

WOW! You guys just about made me cry over your kind best wishes for my retirement!

Thank you sooo much! I was able to get on SS Disability on the first try because SS takes multiple sclerosis very seriously. But - I promised my boss that I would train my replacement which took several months. I was working for peanuts during that period so that I wouldn't be disqualified.

I guess I didn't mention that I had officially retired. Did I ever tell you what I did? I was a CAD Designer for a monument company. My specialty was creating designs for diamond hand etchings and/or laser etching. People would tell me for example - They love dolphins and sailing in their sailboat that has red sails. This is what I came up with:

Here's another for one of our heroic fallen countrymen. The eagle on top was sculpted out of solid granite.

But now I have my dream home that I designed and my husband and I built (with no mortgage) in my own little wildlife preserve here in the woods and the time to appreciate it. Life is good. :p

Thank you all again!

Wow, Rave, really beautiful work. I worked for 10 years for a company that made decorations for burial vaults - we had some very nice stuff and I got to design a few pieces, but nothing like the talent you have!

Wish my order would get here. Today was estimated delivery day but U.S.P.S. fell short. I gotta wonder if some of their employees aren't causing delays and extra mileage to make it look like they can't do without them. I've got a friend who's been a mail carrier for years and he's running scared right now with all the cuts.

Every time I hear about a usps delay, that's what I think- lots of very nervous, if not downright frightened folks wondering if they'll be able to continue to make ends meet. I would imagine they've cut everything to the bone, are short handed, not filling positions, etc. We had a similar thing here in Michigan with the auto industry - lots of folks lost everything here, you can't find a road to drive down that doesn't have at least one or two or three empty, repossessed homes. It really makes you count your blessings.

Thanks for the compliments StarSong and CarrieD.

And you're right CarrieD - It's times like this that either make us count our blessings or curl up into a fetal position. Right now, I'm counting, but a lot of less fortunate folks aren't. One thing that I'm very greatful for is the fact that I'm not handing over money to Big Tobacco anymore. And thanks to Volt - I'm completely satisfied not doing it.

Did I mention how very impressed I am with the new sealed auto batt?! Yeah - I know I did, but it's worth saying it again. Kudos!!

Hello, just a friendly reminder for those who haven't already signed it:

(these all take you to the same place)

We're still 1,123 short and we're running out of time (by 10/27). If we don't make it this time around, I just heard that they're raising our required signatures to 25,000 (instead of the original 5,000 for this one). Sucks, huh? That's our government!

I've been emailing my non-vaping friends too...

It's at 4,145 and counting. I just used an alternate email address of mine and a psuedo-name, and just signed it again. As a matter of fact, I was number 4,145. Just call me Juan.......Juan Valdez. :2cool:

Cheers,
Kelly
